Mount Paxma'iqua
And the places perched upon it's majesty

Mount Paxma'iqua: This is an active volcano, so vast that it can be seen in the distance from all the islands surrounding Tua'Kaa. The mountain is ancient! Sporting signs of Zykla from times past. Two alters, one dedicated to Solis and the other to Luna are on that mountain. Along with various crystals that Oracle and Shaman alike may find useful for their spiritual tasks.

Beneath waves lay even more crystal but not a lick of life seems to inhabit land or sea. It's as though mother nature herself is aware it's just a matter of time before the mountain angers! Surprisingly, there is one spot that remains untouched by the mountain's ire. An ever snowing nook cradled out of reach of the mountain's rage.

It lays just past the healing springs, another placed touched from the past but untouched by the volcano.

Healing Springs: Certainly no fountain of youth but it's properties are mystical none the less. The singular Hot spring on Mount Paxma'iqua houses many minerals that aid in the healing process. Those that rest in the spring find wounds heal three times. Aches and pains seem to melt away as does bruising.

It seems to only work on Paxma'iqua however, attempting to take back the water renders the liquid useless. It also seems to cause the mountain to tremble. It is believed, taking the water is stealing from the gods themselves and is not recommended!

Lakoa'Laru: Serene and quiet, Lakoa'Laru nestles within a blanket of fresh fallen snow beside the rumbling volcano walls. A temple built for both Luna and Solis' followers to whisper their prayers and offer their gifts.

In the evening, Luna's light dances upon the glimmering snow with opalescent majesty while Solis' gaze brightens the temple of snow with radiant golden skylight.

Nea'Akatl'Kala: A room in the temple that seems only accessible to those wishing to make their faith known.

The veil between Zykla and their gods appear thin there. The area is open and lacking a roof with an unsettlingly clear sky. The time of day is an indiscernible in-between the Sun and Moon’s grace. Thriving plant life and impossibly exotic creatures peek in and out of the surrounding foliage.

Omnipotence weaves intricately in and out of the waters there; combined with the ancient breath of life. Those wishing to perform the Rebirth Ritual will sense the weighing scales ready to tally the measure of their worth.
Tua'Kaa
And Landmarks on the island's soil.

The Ring: A cobbled path near the den leads to an odd area - one easily missed had recent renovations lead to chopping down wayward bushes. It is not exactly sacred but certainly with its share of history.

There stands an arena, still in fairly good condition if one can excuse the claw marks that made themselves prominent on the arena’s floor. Zyklian carvings seemed scattered along the ground along with pictographs of winners.
Petrel Island
And it's tourist locations.

Petrel Island: is situated among shallow sandbars and colorful coral reefs. The island is aptly named for the abundance of seabirds that nest on the island during mating season. Petrel island houses the majority of non Zykla residents and is the most developed of the archipelago islands.

As the most developed island it also servers as a trade hub and makes the majority of its coin through exports – the biggest 3 are:
  • Perfumes – created under strict artisans who believe the steam distillation method is the only true method of creating quality perfumes. The price for these vials varies, from moderately expensive to truly expensive. Petrel perfumes are coveted by gentry and nobility alike and used for sacred Rituals.
  • Glass – with an abundance of sand and materials, Petrel is a leading maker of glass commodities. From perfume bottles and vases to mirrors, hand mirrors and stained glass.
  • Spices – The islands are home to a myriad of flora that contributes to the spice trade. While not as exclusive as the top two, they still hold a candle in bring in income.

MoonGlow Springs: Petrel island’s very own resort hot springs; available for free to all lawful citizens and for cheap to tourists. Except Zykla of course; luxury foxes are charged a minimum of triple the amount to get in as a way to “dissuade” the unwashed masses. MoonGlow Springs is named off the way the moon can clearly be seen reflecting off the pristine hot springs and is rumored the most romantic spot on all the islands.

For Tsaak.

Individuals are encouraged to behave while in the springs. Altercations are met with swift and oftentimes permanent repercussions.

Infinity Brothel: Whispers of a Masked Madame and her elusive entourage can sometimes be heard from the Petrel Island. Those brought to the infinite edge praise them; others curse their flighty nature when it comes to picking clientele. The epitome exclusivity; all patrons are handpicked and expected to keep their mouths shut.

Infinity Brothel Identification: The exclusivity of Infinity requires all workers to wear a single identifier gifted by the Madame herself. A gold clasped, silk chord bracelet adorned with lapis lazuli beads. It is said the sapphires are imported making every bracelets strictly accounted for; coupled with the Madame’s limited team makes it hard to fake being an Infinity worker.

This does not stop counterfeit bracelets from cropping up and the occasional call of a mocking bird masquerading as a swan.
