Free Trade Alliance

An International Furcadian Thieves Guild

HISTORY:

This is a Roleplay group set up to introduce players from Furcadia and more specifically Eilaedora, to read up on exactly what the group is.

This group specifically exists to give players a run down on exactly what the Free Trade Alliance is, what our goals are Out Of Character as well as In Character and to help recruit members who are interested in joining.

At it's most basic level, the Free Trade Alliance is as simple as it sounds;
A shipping contract between several continents and countries that stand for a free-trade government amongst themselves.
An import trade if you will.
Most trade involves rugs, clothing, musical items, weapons, food and novelties.

In a more complicated sense, the Free Trade Alliance is a multi-continental Thieve's Guild. Set to protecting each other as well as offering a fence service to those aligned with it.



GOALS:

What our goal as a community is, is to provide a fun and challenging experience for players looking to play thieves as well as interested in the criminal interplay of the law and breaking it.

We as long time players had seen that a theme of playing villains, with no capture or punishment, could create an almost dull and unrealistic narrative in a story.

It was our goal to create a guild and community that not only accepted but also welcomed capture to create an interesting and complex narrative.
We also wanted to provide an In Character community to protect and watch out for those characters, creating a safe network.

COMMUNITY:

For this community to thrive we're looking for players who are interested in creating or playing a character that they are willing to play a dangerious game with.
One that involves actively evading the law, but if caught, will, Out Of Character, be willing and accepting, of the In Character punishment.

We do not condone Out Of Character complaints on if you character, who is evading the law, eventually gets caught.

All the best villains get caught, that's what makes them fun to read and in our opinion even more fun to play.



HOW TO JOIN:

If you're still interested in joining this community we'd ask that you read over the In Character Rules as well as some of the In Character information we have posted, such as code of honor, symbolism and how the Free Trade Alliance works on a global and local scale.

Also please take time to read over and decide if our OOC views are something that you're interested and consent to.

The Free Trader's Alliance takes place as a complementary community to Eileadora, located in Furcadia.
