Despite Skywalker's best efforts, a handful of Jedi escaped the assault on the Temple, fleeing offworld and hiding in any shadowy corner they could find throughout the Galaxy. So begins the hunt for the last Jedi, as the Empire attempts to drive them to extinction....


Caden Rein, a Jedi Temple Guard barely manages to escape the clutches of Lord Vader thanks to the aid of Padawan Ashla Olshar. Seeking a way off-planet, they are saved by Ryn Kyrana, a lightsaber-wielding smuggler who captains a ship called The Dawn Rider. Ryn is on his way to Corellia, to pick up his childhood friend and mentor, ex-Jedi Tallus Reigh. However, Kyrana's arrival on Corellia finds Reigh missing, with signs of abduction by Republic forces. With no other options, Ryn must find where his friend has been taken, and enlist the help of these two injured Jedi survivors if he is to save Reigh from the clutches of Palpatine's new order...
