DESIGN AN NPC INFLUENTIAL FIGURE

To kick off Caribou Coast's Welcome Week, we're inviting anyone and everyone to help in expanding the lore by creating their own influential figure! You've probably seen us working on the influential figures page on the Caribou Coast RPR. It's not as easy as it looks, so be forewarned that it will take a lot of work! Don't be afraid to ask questions, and let your imagination soar!
An influential figure is someone, whether within their own circle or in the community as a whole, has become a leader of people or has made some sort of impact on the community or the lore. Someone who makes it their responsibility to either help or hinder the way the city functions. It does NOT have to be a faction leader.
Only one winner will be selected for this event. Good luck!
REQUIREMENTS AND RULES:
- A fully designed and written influential figure with lore that fits the setting and continuity of Caribou Coast. This isn't an art contest, though you are welcome to create a board, use a faceclaim or draw the appearance of the character. Whichever way you chose to portray the appearance will not go into the judgement process, but the appearance itself will.
- Only one entry per person. You're welcome to write more, but only one will be going to the judging process.
- By entering your figure you agree to it being displayed and used on the Caribou Coast RPR. You also agree that this figure is only appearing in Caribou Coast, no other continuity.
- To Submit your entry, please contact one of the managers (Ashley, Kayla or Konnie) by PM.
- Consent. Caribou Coast is a consent based dream, so please keep in mind this when designing your figure, as well as designing ties for it with other factions and their leaders.
- You agree that this is an NPC character that is to be used as the Caribou Coast team sees fit in dreamwide plot/lore.
- Please be aware that some influential figures already exist. Please click HERE to avoid designing a figure for something with an already established leader.
IT CAN INCLUDE:
- Ties to other factions/influential figures (with consent)
- Mentions of past events of the island
- A central location/business operation.
- YOUR character, as faction leader (please be aware that you must be an active RPer in the community to be a faction leader and keep the status)
ENTRIES WILL BE JUDGED ON:
- Creativity & Originality: Has it been done before? If it has, what makes it different this time? Give us the WOW factor. A few things to take into account with this: the name of the faction, the lore and history of the faction and presentation of the information.
- Relevance: How well your faction blends into the Caribou Coast lore as well as the other factions of the island. How well do you represent Caribou Coast?
PRIZES:
- A custom template to your character by Konnie + Your faction being considered canon in the Caribou Coast dream and lore.
OR - A custom template to your character by Kim/Dug + Your faction being considered canon in the Caribou Coast dream and lore.
Winning the contest also gets your figure displayed on the Caribou Coast RPR.
