Logs

Alanala was dressed up in a white rain coat, with black boots, with a transparent umbrella, which was currently closed up as it wasn't raining anymore... But she was out with her dog Winston, the little white maltese in a yellow rain coat and black boots too, joining her as she jumped through puddles of rain water, it was a bit high but it wasn't worrying by any means... She loved rain, how it smelled after it rained was always calming. She appeared to be having fun, jumping into the rain puddles, as anyone passing nearby could hear the young woman singing out loud. A very... Appropriate song indeed. "I'm singin' in the rain, Just singin' in the rain, What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again~!" Her young pure voice singing how her heart felt as she would skip through the puddles. "I'm laughin' at clouds, So dark up above, The sun's in my heart, And I'm ready for love!" Summer was so close, yet it felt like spring was keeping its hold for a little more with that beautiful rain shower earlier.

Keyton hadn't stayed inside despite the weather; but he also hadn't dressed remotely appropriately for it. He had been out when the rain had hit earlier, his hair still showing remnants of the weather as did his clothes. The white shirt he wore still clung to his muscled frame, pants not doing much better. His socks were at least mostly dry, though the puddles he was not avoiding would probably make that untrue very soon. Currently he was maneuvering through the less crowded streets on his way to where the art gallery had been the night before. Ally had said he could pick up the painting today right? He figured it would be a good surprise for his still sick boyfriend. He didn't make it all the way there though, ears catching familiar voice singing, the blind man shifting trajectory in response to her voice. Splashing straight through puddles without a care in the world he'd get close to her; blood magic giving him the ability to at least sense where she was. "You can paint and sing; I wonder if there is something you can't do." he spoke in form of greeting, offering a pleasant enough smile to the woman.

Henz was rather drenched as he had been walking around in the rain before it let up. The shop was closed today and he had clearly forgotten about it until he stood outside of the locked door. He didn't have really anything else to do today, so he began to walk around the town. Most of the sidewalks were empty as it seemed people scattered when the rains came. It didn't bother Henz any as he wasn't much of a people person. Crossing Main St. he caught some movement in the corner of his eye. Bright yellow shapes hopping around. Deciding to investigate, he headed in the direction of the shapes, only to discover that the shapes were none other than Ally and someone else that he hadn't met yet. Stopping at the edge of the street where she was, he leaned himself up against the building and crossed his arms. He hadn't know that Ally could sing, then again, he didn't know much about her. A small smirk came across his face as he watched her jump around and splash in the puddles. "He is right Lana, I too wonder what other talents you have up your sleeve." he called out to her, part of him wondered if she would even talk to him again.

Alexion loved the rain so much, it was hard to keep him indoors once it started pouring. The problem was he wasn't supposed to be outside right now. Because of certain things that involved him possibly breaking something of high value in the house while goofing off, he'd been confined to his dog form and told that no, he would not be going out to play. So the familiar had of course listened.. for the better portion of ten minutes before the doberman wiggled free of his room and out he went. At least he had a collar and if someone tried to drag him off, it wasn't anything to shift back and just.. walk away from the situation. He was smart. Alex splashed about the puddles, nub of a tail wagging and ears gave a twitch as he approached the group. A slow inhale but everything just smelled like fresh rain.

Elery The rain had finally broken to some degree and while Elery normally dressed in formal clothing, today was not one of those days. He had a red polo on, short sleeved that showed his amputeed left arm, just above where the bicep should be. Cargo pants that were weighed down by wallet, phone, keys and yes, even his flip flops. He was walking around barefooted. Like others he was just enjoying the water, but barefooted. To anyone who could see beyond his glamour, they wouldn't find the older gentlman with salt and pepper hair around 6'2, instead they'd discover a creature of 8'2, a unicorn with a wicked horn and gold adornments. His journey carried him towards a sight to see, it even put a smile on his face. Imagine that, a smile.

Alanala's brows went up when she heard then saw someone approaching her, smiling as she looked to Keyton. "Ah? Heh, hi... Um... I'm not as good at singing as I am painting..." She would dismiss his compliments modestly until a second voice sent her heart about racing out of her chest. Turning her eyes to gaze upon Henz as he stood not too far away, she would panic, internally for a few seconds, remembering how their last... Meeting had ended, with her cry and screaming at him to stay away from her. Forcing her escaping nerves back into place she would smile, weakly his way. "Well, um... I can play the harp too? But that's not really a talent so much as forced lessons as a teen." Shrugging her shoulders gently. Winston gave a bark, as he saw the doberman coming their way through the rain, drawing Ally's attention to the other dog curiously, brows arching as she saw him coming. "Oh, is he one of your dogs?" She asked the other two curiously before squatting down, holding her hand out as she called to him. "Come here boy, no need to be afraid..." That smile on her face quickly wilted when she caught yet another heart jerking sight, seeing the familiar older gentleman standing not too far off. Henz alone, she could handle, seeing Elery again? She was panicked, but both in the same place, at the same time? "...Ell, I um... I thought you were leaving?" She called to him as she stood back up abruptly, recalling how they had spoken so long ago back in Bramford, how he said he was leaving and not coming back. But they were in Caribou Coast now...

Keyton didn't know Henz and given his inability to phyically 'see' he wasn't going to recognize him from anywhere either. The voice wasn't enough to give away anything more than his presence, so the vampire was left with his focus on Ally. At least until his nose caught the scent of ...was that a dog? He had picked up on Winston, but for some reason the doberman pulled his attention more. "Why is it everywhere I go there are small cute little creatures?" he could smell the wet dog, kneeling down to reach out blindly in what he figured was the dogs direction. "What are you even doing out here?" he asked as if the dog could actually respond back. Hah! If only he knew the truth behind Alex. Once Ally joined he shifted, not out of recognition to her reaching out but just close proximity he felt through magic senses. "You shouldn't sell yourself so short." he assured her, though shook his head a moment later. "I have no idea whose dog he is. There's a collar at least." or at least he was pretty sure that's what he had felt when he managed to brush up against the dog's neck. "Are they friends of yours?" he hooked a thumb in Elery and Henz's direction. His expert in body language wasn't doing him any favors here, given his lack of sight; but the waivering of her voice had him wondering just who the two men were.

Henz saw the look of panic upon her face as she caught sight of him. "Artistic, able to sing, now play a harp, are you sure you aren't an angel?" what was he saying? He had turned down her las tthey met, now he was comlimenting her. Henz was starting to sound like a pompas ass, but he clearly wasn't thinking at all. As he pushed himself off of the building and walked towards the little group, the were caught a scent of wet dog, looking down he saw the little raincoat covered dog that was yapping away at something. Looking in the direction of where it was looking, he saw a rotty, a beautiful beast. "Not mine, though he is a gorgous creature." he said about Alex. Looking to Keyton then to Elery, Henz smiled at bouth of them. Reaching a hand out to Keyton, "Henz, pleasure to meet you. You look as soaked as I am." he mentioned as he saw that he too, looked like a drowned rat.

Alexion suddenly had a lot of attention on him and if he were a vain creature, he might've preened under it. But instead, he went to each person in turn, nuzzling his face into their hands and basking in the attention. Alanala was given a happy little snort as well as Henz before he settled down, allowing Keyton to check his collar. It was simple enough in design, magic woven into it so it couldn't be removed. He tipped his head up to gaze at the man's eyes and found himself surprised. Could he not see? Everyone here carried such strange smells but the unicorns, both of them, had Alex glancing between them. Magic, glamour and the supernatural things in the world in general were strange smells to the familiar, ones he knew to look for. And as he leaned against Key's leg, attaching to the man because he was trying to help a blind dude here, he waited to see how everything unfolded. It suddenly seemed tense.

Elery vibrant green eyes, almost seemed unreal with how bright in color they were, fortunately they weren't glowing as they would be unglamoured, but they were vivid. There wasn't any intention to cause a state of panic or unrest, he wasn't here to start anything, but when had he ever? He looked down to Alex for a moment, had he approached he'd give the dog a good pet over his head and patted his rump as most dogs enjoyed, and then looked back up to Ally as he was addressed before looking to Keyton. "I didn't return," obviously, this was not Bramford. "And I didn't know you'd be here." He moved towards the small group, "Although I am glad you made it out of Bramford safely." For a moment he passed an exchange of looks between the two gentlemen, "I'm going to go get a stiff drink." He might need it now. He'd lift his right hand to pat Ally on the shoulder, "Enjoy the rain." He mused as he began to walk away as if his feet were heavy and weighed down, but that was in general his gait.

Alanala would of blushed at Henz's words, if it were not for how it had ended up between them... Instead she gave him a very confused look as her brows furrowed together. What was up with him? "Nh-No... I'm not..." She remarked softly in response, he knew what she was... Well, rather she had told him, he just hadn't believed her. Elery's approach to her made her stiffen considerably, specifically when his hand patted her on the shoulder. "I- You... You don't have to go." She would mutter softly, eyes flicking to the ground. Even with how their last meeting had went, she felt herself still pining to be close to some unicorn, Lumina had been oddly absent in her life as of late, but the woman was busy, considerably so... She would move to gently pet over Alex, looking at the collar for a tag, while Winston went padding his way over to Henz, giving him a huff, rather than a bark in greeting, he had never met Henz.

Keyton managed to brush his hand agains the collar; the touch being enough to realize the magical properties of it. Interesting; he was no expert but that meant the dog was probably more than he seemed. Of course he was, that was just part for the course around here right? A soft stroke was given to the muzzle as the dog likewise checked him out and realized he was indeed; a blind dude. Henz's compliments to Ally caught his attention though and given that he had no idea the history between Alanala and Henz so the complimenting just seemed really sweet to him. The reach of hand by Henz was ignored; though it wouldn't take much to figure out it wasn't out of rudeness. Anyone who could sense magic or the like would be able to see the faint traces of magic that was affecting his sight. "I got caught out." he confirmed, lifting up and turning in the direction of Henz's voice. "Keyton; nice to meet you as well." He offered in return; reaching down instead of out as he felt Alex lean against his leg. "Aren't you a sweet dog hmm?" Ollie would definetely love him. Did Ollie really need another 'son' though? The answer was no. Elery's approach and following words earned a frown from the vampire. "Do you often drink alone?" he called out after the man, unable to see him moving away but sensing it through magical means. "Do you always attract such interesting characters Alanala?" question posed to the unicorn as he reached up to run a hand through his hair. "I suppose now isn't the best time to discuss the painting I bought?" reading the mood was hard when you couldn't see anyone's facial expressions or body language; but he could sense there was a lot of...tension going on right now.

Henz felt like a fool for not noticing that Keyton was visually impared. A pinkish hue stained Henz's face, at least what was left bare above the scruff of his beard. Taking his hand back, he shoved it into his wet pocket, "Nice to meet you Keyton." Smirking, his bright blues jumped around the party. Henz didn't feel as awkward as Ally was, but he did feel bad that things ended like they did, but he had to be honest with her. "Oh did you buy one of hers?" he asked Keyton, as he was rather interested, though felt bad that he didn't attend Ally's art gallery. It was probably for the best, it was her night and he didn't want to ruin it for her by showing up. "Why don't we all get a drink, something to warm us up from being out here in the cold." he offered, wondering if anyone would take up the offer.
(21:55:12) Alexion made a soft noise of happiness at Elery's pat, he was right. That was enjoyable. The familiar tended to lean on his feral instincts a lot, considering he was born a regular dog and turned into this. But the nice man seemed to be wanting to leave and that was just sad. They were having a good time in the rain, no need to leave! There'd be no tag for Alanala to find, unfortunately, Alex had kicked off the last one and Valerius hadn't gotten around to replacing it yet. If he were thinking more clearly, he would've known that Keyton wasn't asking a question, not exactly, but the dog still wiggled in place at a bit at the praise, "I'm a good boy." Words were quiet, so quiet, but maybe the vampire would hear. Henz mentioning going out to drink had him barking in agreement. Drinks were always good and maybe he'd join them as something a little less.. furry.

Elery the unicorn gave a pause. Maybe it was because he'd softened around the edges lately due to losing his best friend Ezriel or maybe it was the timbre of her voice, who knew? His eyes shifted up towards Henz. A soft sigh given as the older man moved a finger to scratch across his cheek where hair was growing in need of a shave. "Always," he said to Keyton. That's how he lived life... very much alone. Hearing the rest of the words he figured he should introduce himself, minus the demon companion he'd had for centuries. Hearing the rest of the words he figured he should introduce himself, maybe it was only polite. "My name is Elery, but I go by Ell." He looked to Henz, "I think that's a wonderful idea." Besides, he was less prickly when he drank. "And I can get to know all of your new friends Alanala. Just promise me your parents won't start calling me again or I'm going to chunk my phone into the ocean... Okay?" To Alex and Winston he'd smile, maybe he could get a dog now? One that could help him with things around the house or something. That would be nice, wouldn't it?

Alanala looked to the three men who were now talking about all having drinks together. What... What had she gotten herself into? She just went out to play in the rain. "Um... Yeah, I'll have to drop Winston at home, but my apartment isn't too far from here." She would tell them all softly, picking up Winston from the group, the maltese giving a huff in her arms. "I'll meet you all there..." Pausing when she heard Ell's words, she felt her face reddening slightly. "...They won't, they've gotten a firm talking to by... By someone they respect." She knew they all knew what she was.. But she wasn't about to go around dropping Lumina's name and species, she knew better than that. "I'll be right back." And off she trotted away, towards the apartment block not far off from there. She had to drop Winston off at home, dogs typically weren't allowed in bars after all... But it wouldn't be long til she would meet them at the bar, minus the dog.

Keyton nodded to both of Henz's statements. "There was a very nice man at the gallery yesterday who pointed one out for me." he felt the need to explain, given that he was blind. "It's a gift." he tacked on, since he couldn't exactly appreciate art in his current state. Hopefully soon the curse would be cured, but for now he was just going to have to *deal with it*. At the offer of drinks the vampire let out a soft hum. Did he have time for a drink? Ollie was probably still asleep...he could afford a drink or two before heading back to check on the younger male. "Sure, I don't see why not." he offered before turning down to Alex with a contemplative expression. He was about to ask the dog another rhetorical question when those sensitive ears picked up the words. Oh...great. Was every animal in Caribou Coast a shifter now? Did he miss that Memo? He was going to have words with the mayor! "I suppose you can come get a drink with us than." he muttered in a lowered voice. Turning back to Elery's response he only nodded, figuring that would be the end of it. Until he was...coming along with them all the sudden? Didn't he just say he preferred to be alone? Well alcohol had its appeal, so he wasn't going to question it. Instead he turned back to Alex and leaned close to the shifter. Whatever was spoken would remain a mystery as he took a step away from the doberman and in Henz's direction. "Afraid I don't know where the nearest bar is." he hoped that would be enough for the man to start leading the way. He could follow along well enough and hopefully not hit a streetlamp or something. Devin and Nolen needed to get back with that book soon, because this whole being blind thing was not doing it for him. "See you there." he called out after Alanala, not having any idea what that whole business about her parents was all about. He supposed the painting would also have to wait. Ah well.

Henz was beaming at this point as his idea for drinks was accepted all around, even Ally decided to join. "There is this little pub around the corner, lets head on over there." he said as he then looked to Keyton for a moment, "Would you like me to lend you a hand?" he asked as he then looked up to see Lana leaving with her dog, winston. "The pub is a little dive bar, but they have good food and good drinks, quite place where not many really know about it. So its perfect if you want a quiet place." he said as he then began to lead the way if Keyton didn't accept the helping hand that Henz was offering.

Alexion listened in as everyone seemed to be of the same mind about getting something to drink. That was fine and everything and while he'd voiced his agreement in his own manner, Alexion realized there's no way he'd actually get a drink in this form. Not that his other was any better.. he was underage. Ah well, he'd be able to get food at least right? He bumped Keyton's leg to show that he understood what was meant and suddenly dashed off. It'd take a few moments, enough for people to probably go.. huh he maybe went back home.. before he was running back. As a human this time. Oversized hoodie and ripped jeans, both seemed like they were clothing borrowed from someone just a bit taller than him. He'd be scolded later for also breaking the grounds of his punishment but if you're gonna rebel, go big or go home. Blonde had caught up with the group quickly and started walking besides Key, waving at everyone else, "Hey, I'm Alexion." As if he'd been here the whole time.

Elery nodded to Ally, seeming to understand to some degree. Someone important, someone above them. He fucking hated hierarchy, and yet he had served a queen. "See you there," and he could almost sense Keyton's confusion, but just because he always did it alone, didn't mean he always wanted to be alone. Who wanted to be alone? He was about to tell the man when he answered and Alex went hauling ass off and away. As they began walking he noticed the blond returning and it didn't take him long to put two and two together. Wait... He looked over to Alex and then Keyton and then Alex. He just patted that kids ass... He rolled his lips together and looked forward, stay focused on your path old man. No amount of booze was going to fix that ass-pat but hey... Alex didn't seem to mind, so there's that right? Wanting to get his mind off such, he asked, "So how do y'all know Ally?"

Alanala seemed to have arrived just as Ell was asking them all how they knew her. "...I met Keyton and Henz at the Easter event I threw a month ago... Keyton the day of a rabbit race, and Henz the erm... Next day at the egg hunt, I hired him to be the Easter bunny." She would just simply not mention the fact she had accidentally kissed him. Finding a table she settled herself down at it. "I'll get a hard hot apple cider." She would remark softly, once the wait staff came over to take their order, providing ID when asked. Those eyes of hers looked at Alex in confusion, had they met him while she was gone? She wasn't as best at recognizing other supernaturals... Being as she didn't even know Henz was one. "I'm Alanala, but you can call me Ally." Introducing herself before addressing Keyton. "You can pick up the painting later if you'd like? I have a spare key to just the storage room where they have all my paintings, I'll be returning it tomorrow." Simple enough.

Keyton liked the sound of a small dive bar; it was a place he could slip out of easily enough if it came down to it. "Quiet is good." he offered a nod; following along behind the man as Alex rushed off. His return was met with a wave, only because he felt the man brush up against him. "Alexion huh? Can I call you Alex?" casual conversation was made with the man as he followed along behind Henz. Being blind he had no idea the blonde looked eighteen and therefore even younger than the man he was dating. If Elery felt like an old perv; imagine how the vampire would feel if he could see. Being blind had its perks in some cases right? It seemed the place was close as it didn't take them long to get there, the vampire slipping inside. Hoping that Alex would lead him to a seat at the table he'd slip into it with only a brief moment of feeling around blindly. Once settled he raised a hand and spoke to the waitress. "Two beers." He didn't tell her that one of them was for Alex; he'd just let the blonde take it and drink for himself. What were they going to do? Get kicked out? Elery's question earned a bit of a head tilt; hum escaping his throat as he was about to answer only...for Ally to answer instead. "What she said." he offered with a smile, the waitress setting those two beers down infront of him. Reaching out he managed to find the glass without tipping it over and drank a good portion of the liqour down. "What about you...it sounds like you've known Ally for some time?" he questioned of the other unicorn, keeping attention out for the response as he spoke to Ally. "Sure, I'm free after this if you have time." he didn't intend to stay for too long and she could return after if she wanted.

Henz lead the group to the pub that he spoke of, then took up the largest table the had. The waiter came up and asked them what they were all drinking, Ally had made her drink of choice known as well as Keyton. As they came to Henz, he smiled at her, not flashing his ID as the greys in his beard were signal enough that he was old enough to drink. "Ill have and Irish Coffee." he said as he was needing the warmth and the caffiene. "Oh and a large plate of fries too." he was a sucker for some greasy food, and this would be a good thing to much on and possible share with the rest of them, to absorb whatever alcohol they would consume. Soon his drink was brought and placed before him, then the heaping pile of frieds. A grin spread across Hezn's face as he took a few fries and shovled them into his mouth, though forgetting, once again, that they were jsut fresh from teh fryer and quite hot.

Alexion did come out of nowhere but never fear, the dog's personality shone through in this form too. Alanala was given a broad grin, "Nice to meet you, Ally." He didn't say 'again', he wasn't gonna bring it up if it wasn't immediately obvious. Alex nodded his head at Keyton and then realized, shit wait. "Uh yeah, Alex is great." It was what was used by most his family.. Lex was reserved for Val most times. Beer being ordered had him sinking in seat happily once he was there, making sure Key was safe first of course. It meant he didn't have to try to talk his way into alcohol - he had no ID period. He also ordered some fries because even if he couldn't drink legally, he could damn well still get food. Even had the money to pay for it!

Elery pulled out his phone, having received a text he would read it and send a message back, going back and forth with someone and eventually frowning before he dropped his phone into his pocket. It pinged and he simply reached down to turn the sound off because he wasn't going to keep going with the messages. He could only take small doses of stupidity at a time. "I''m sorry," he said quietly about the texting and gave them his undivided attention until Ally was the narrator of her own life. Seemed he missed a lot. "I would like to have a scotch, neat." No food it seemed although when Henz was delievered he'd shoot him a glance, a grin and eased his fingers over to take a fry if he could without getting slapped on the hand for it. "Well... I was sitting at a bar in Bramford with some friends, and she saw me, thought I was someone..." he looked over to her, unsure of how to say it because what happened was she saw through his glamour and saw him for what he really was, "...important." He looked back to Keyton, "She paints beautifully, has a real knack for art. I used to catch her painting at the park all the time... any chance she got she was painting. " He looked at her, "Glad you had your event. I suppose it was yours I walked by the other day, thought it looked familiar. He then looked to Henz, taking a sip of his scotch as it was brought. "You're a better than me, I wouldn't have done it..." He laughed softly. "And you Alex... do you know, was it Keyton?" After all he bought him a beer and they were sitting together. Thank goodness he was on the other side cause if Alex sat next to him he might have looked more like a stiff board than relaxed as he was now.

Alanala picked up her apple cider as it arrived, taking a sip from it as she sat and spoke with the small group. Listening to them all as they spoke, those pale blue eyes of hers flickered over Alex now and then, he looked young... Probably a college student, she wondered briefly what his major was, if he even had one. When Ell brought up her gallery, and how he had just walked by it... She spoke up. "Probably a good thing that neither you or Henz went then, considering I had a huge nude self portrait in there." Not even pausing for those words to sink in, she went right on addressing Keyton. "I'll make sure to get those fantasy pieces for the pediatric ward done before the end of next month, I'll start sometime in July." She would tell him softly before pausing, considering briefly. "...If you are not adverse to it, I am well versed in healing magic, I can take care of your eyes." It didn't matter if Alex knew her to have magic or not, if that was all he thought she had, her unicorn heritage a bit more of a closely guarded thing, only those she trusted should know it. When Ell mentioned that Ally was very good at painting, and painted a lot in the park she snorted. "Good load of nothing it did for me, painting there... Met my ex Azazel who turned out to be a right..." She paused, brows furrowing. What was she doing? She was supposed to be having a good time... Why was she getting so heated? She didn't know... Maybe it had to do with the fact two men who had turned her down were sitting at the same table with her.

Keyton equally didn't flash an ID, he looked plenty old enough and nobody asked him for it anyway. Maybe they felt bad for the blindness? Whatever he wasn't going to question it. As fries were ordered he hummed in thought before adding on an order of onion rings. They were delivered hot and fresh as well, not that the man would notice. Being a vampire he didn't actually need people food; but he had learned to enjoy it and grease made everything better. Another sip of beer was taken before he followed the sensation of heat on skin to find the plate of rings and pop one into his mouth. Swallowing without much fanfare he nodded to Alex. "Enjoy the beer." he wasn't going to question the teen for an ID because he couldn't see it even if he had. Leaving the teen to his beer and fries attention shifted back to Elery, following the sound of the voice and listening to the story. "Ah." was all he spoke to the story before shaking his head. "Never met him actually. I seem to attract people like him though." whether he meant shifters or those who were barely legal was left up to interpretation. "I don't actually get out much, the hospital keeps me busy." in fact the past two days and the Easter even was probably the most he had gotten out in quite some time. Speaking of the hospital, Ally's words earned a nod. "No rush, really. It's a kindness you are doing; I am sure the kids will appreciate it." he waved a hand idly in the air before chewing on another onion ring and taking another drag of that beer. When the offer to heal his eyes was made he frowned, brows furrowing. "If it were that easy I would've done it. Afraid its a bit of a dangerous curse." one that could get worse if healing magic was applied. He'd done that research already after all. "Thank you though." he managed to get out before she started on about her ex and painting in Bramford. She had, quite the history. Not that he was going to ask about it; but he had the feeling the other two men were some cause to it.

Henz moved the fries from before him to more in the center of their table, "Here, everyone, enjoy" he said with a smile as he took a gulp og his Irish Coffee. IT was strong, warm, and oh so delish. As the conversation went about and around him, he remained silent as he listened to everyone, certainly was learning alot about Ally tonight, more than he learned in teh two dates they went on. He didn't smack Ell's hand as he ment for people to pick at the large fries he got. Henz was the kind of guy that shared most of his food, drink on the other than, that was a different story. "Sounds like everyone at this table has a connection to someone or another. But how bout we make a toast." he then raised his glass, "From strangers to aquaintences or friends, whatever you prefer." what was he doing? He had only the one gulp, clearly he forgot that when it came to the hard stuff, he was a light weight.

Alexion heard Alanala mention fixing Keyton's eyes and was interested in the magic, simply for the fact that it was something he hadn't heard of before. He'd have to chitter excitedly at Val to see how that was done. If he knew, of course. He murmured a happy little thanks to Keyton once everything was delivered, not even bothering to give someone a chance to stop him. That beer was chugged down as if it were water, dog not stopping until the entire thing was gone. Then, as if he hadn't just inhaled his beer, he started to munch on his fries with a grin on his face. Take that, law. It's already too late. Henz's announcement had him blinking and he raised his empty glass with one hand, continuing to shovel fries with his other hand. Teen was good at multi-tasking.

Elery was thankful he wasn't sipping his scotch at that precise moment because he wasn't expecting the idea of a nude picture. He was glad for Keyton's distraction, "Oh."Now he would sip his Scotch as if it didn't burn his throat at all, all of it, nursing it like a thirsty man in a desert. He'd raise his glass until the waiter saw that he wanted another one... stat. He also didn't want to play this game with Alanala either. In that moment, a few things dawned on him, she wasn't stuttering anymore and she'd lost her home in Bramford. The conversation went on though and he would pick at the fries again just to keep his mouth from saying something biting to Ally. She couldn't blame Azazel on him. The talk of Keyton's eyes had him momentarily wondering how open he could be with this small group as he got his refill and handed them the empty glass. He almost laughed to the proposal, but set his teeth around the edge of the glass. For the sake of keeping good moods good where they remained he raised his glass with Alex and Henz. "To better memories," He said quietly, "and hopefully no more Ally nudes," he said jokingly.

Alanala looked to the fries, and then Henz as he raised his drink up, for a toast. Staring at their raised cups she would sigh out and raise her own cup with them. Feeling her face burning red now as Ell remarked upon no more nudes of hers, she would speak up. "Oh no, there will be no more of them, that one will be the only one... Should I become famous, I'm certain that it will be very sought after, as... I erm... Will continue to keep myself cuh-covered." Walked yourself right into that one didn't you Ally? Feeling her face burning even deeper she would draw her cup back in, sipping from it slowly. "Henz I-..." Pausing as she would suckle upon her own bottom lip, she would continue. "I was being truthful when I told you what I was, on our date... I don't know if you still don't believe me... But I'd never lie about who, and what I am." Not going any further into it, since she didn't know Alex personally to speak more freely on it.

Keyton heard the call for a toast and raised a brow. Was that... a thing people did now? He was pretty sure those were reserved for like, weddings and other special occassions. But hey, he wasn't going to be a buzzkill; so he raised his glass up briefly before finishing whatever was left in it. "Cheers." he murmered as he set his glass down and took a few more onion rings. Finishing them off relatively quickly he felt his back pocket buzz and shifted to allow the phone to be tugged from it. Once again muscle memory had him sliding along the screen that would answer. A brief conversation could be heard, something about needing more medicine and some hot tea. The man on the other end probably said coffee actually, but there was no way the vampire was giving his sick boyfriend that much caffeine. He needed to rest not work! "I'm getting dejavu; but I'm afraid I must be going again." he slid his phone back into his pocket before slipping out of his seat. "You have something to write with. You can call me about the painting; I'll give you my number." and when Ally confirmed she was ready to record, he'd offer it up. Wallet was produced and a fifty was set on the table. "Maybe I'll .... see you all sometime later. After this whole mess is fixed." he vaguely indicated his eyes; settling that sightless gaze on Alex for a moment. "You want to be a good boy and walk me home?" It would actually be helpful. The rest of the conversation faded into background noise for the most part, but not before he caught some words about dates and lying. Another frown touched his features, mouth parting as if he was going to say something before he shook his head and thought better of it. Instead he simply offered a final wave and made his way out of little dive bar.

Henz was certainly having a good time, but it seemed the evening for him was coming to a close, even as Keyton had decided to bounce out, Henz finished his drink, shoved a few more fries into his mouth ,and paid for his drink and food. "IT has been a great time." he said as he then clapped Ell upon the shoulder like an old friend would, though he had just met the man. "Though I agree with you, a youngin like Ally shouldnt be doing nudey things, she is too young." he then squinted at ally as his vision was rather fuzzy, "Oh ally, are you still on that. twas a trick of the light." he said blowing off her confession once more. A hiccup escaped from Henz, like a sterotypical drunk thing to do. "Like the good Keyton, I too must be off, for I fear, if I drink more, I will not be able to hold my tongue." he smiles at those who remained at the table. "It has been a great pleasure to see you all and share a drink." Standing up, he had to use the table as a good suport system before he managed to wobble his way out towards the door and out into the streets. Hopefully he could make his way back to his room without getting a public intoxication charge.

Alexion had mumbled something through a mouthful of fries, a maybe there toast about friendship and all those other good things. It wasn't a bad gathering and he left enough money to pay for his fries the minute Keyton said he was leaving. What kind of a seeing eye dog would he be - however temporary this little self-appointed assignment was - if he didn't help the vampire get home. He bowed a little to everyone present, polite in a way that had to be picked up from somewhere that wasn't his home. "Nice to meet you all!" Wave of the hand and he was linking his arm with Keyton's, no doubt about to talk his ear off the entire way to the guy's destination. His fault for giving him beer really.

Elery nodded, "Well I really hope not." For so many reasons he did not approve of her being nude in public, if even through a painting. Glancing to Keyton he nodded in his direction, "Have a good evening, hope all is we...lll" was that a mother fucking hand on his shoulder? He looked up to Henz. Thoughts were clicking, oh Ally told him she was a unicorn and he didn't believe her. For a moment he considered removing his own glamour to help Ally, but... no, nope, not right now. He lifted a hand to double pat over Henz in good spirits. "Good night everyone," he said as he too would raise to his feet and finished his scotch in a shot like manner and winced. He at least had a decent tolerance by now, but he still wasn't great himself. He'd throw down money to cover his drinks and tips. Then he'd motion, "I'll walk you home Ally, and then I'm going to my hotel." He told her point blank.

Alanala's brows furrowed gently as Henz once more dismissed her telling him she was indeed a unicorn. What was it going to take? Her actually transforming into a horned horse in front of him? Shaking her head she turned to Ell. "Told him I was a unicorn on our last date, showed him my horn... He didn't believe me, wonder how he'd react if he knew there was two sitting with him at the table?" She would take a napkin from the dispenser, before getting out a pen as Keyton would tell her his phone number. "I'll call you tomorrow then, have a good night." Sighing out, she downed her drink before getting up, putting money down for it, along with a tip before making her way out. "It was... Pleasant seeing you again Ell" She told him softly, nodding her head at his decision to walk her home, she supposed that was a safe bet. "Thank you." Although the walk there would likely be quiet.
