Abioye really didn't mind being roped into these things, which was surprising because he was normally so shy. The shelter was a way for him to come out of shell and this event was no exception. He was lounging in a chair next to a table, a small donation box resting near the fresh food that another volunteer was grilling up. There were some dog-friendly options too, in case anyone decided to bring their pooch! The wolf had one of the shelter's nicest dogs with him, a senior who just wanted a lot of cuddles but also liked being out and about. If it weren't for the amount of cats Izzy kept around his house.. he wouldn't have minded the addition. For now, he just leaned forward and scratched behind her ear, murmuring soft words of encouragement before he straightened up. He'd spent the better portion of the last two days putting up fliers.. hopefully people showed!
Rus was.. disheveled and a little wild, having spent the last month in and out of the forest. He didn't know what he was doing here. Things had just changed one day. He had been happy in the city. He loved the sun here, but it also made him feel so hot and heavy. He'd gone for a dip in one of the fountains a while back, but then he'd been told about the swimming pool and... well. He was very, very happy to go there today, because the little ice dragon thought he might fucking melt if he didn't. Oh, did we forget to mention he was a dragon? Don't worry; the collar around his neck allowed for the mundane to see him as a very strangely marked corgi, but a corgi none the less. Supernatural could see the small ice dragon (still.. the size of a corgi) and who knew? Maybe someone could covince him to shift, but for now he made a skitter run for the pool and flopped in, clicking rapidly because hello yes that felt so nice. Exactly what he needed. Anyone in the vicinity was gonna get splashed, sorry!
Devin Starr had set up more than a few flyers in the cafe for this little event. Suffice it to say, after seeing them for the past couple days, the wolf couldn't find a real reason not to get out of the house and go. A nice swim in the pool and donating money to a good cause? It seemed like a good deal to him. As for Nolen? He wasn't sure what the man was doing, probably holed up in his room reading a book or something. Eh, he'd let the man be and flip the sign to the cafe from open to closed before making his way to the pool. The donation table was the first place hit up, dropping a nice twenty in the box before he snagged one of those pool chairs along the edge, one that was conveniently near Isiah. He was about to say something when that corgi decided jumping into the pool was the right way to introduce himself. "I like that dogs style, he isn't up for adoption is he?" finally spoken to Isiah, who seemed to sort of know what was going on around here!
Harper Greenbush shows up! She didn't have an animal, but the muscular woman was in a minimal two-piece swimsuit that was basically underwear. She'd ask, "I heard there was a pool party?" Before noticing the old dog and squatting down, grinning gently and holding out her hands. "Hey puppy, come here." If she came forward, Harper would start scritching!
Coyotie. Noah spotted a flier about the pool party. His mind went back and forth about whether or not he should go. In the end he figured, what the heck, why not? He brought along Juniper. She was a three-legged golden retriever, getting on in the years but not quite a senior dog yet. Hard to tell, though. The moment she saw the pool she began to tug on her leash with all her strength. Noah reached down and gave her a little pat. "Easy girl, easy..." He unhooked her leash and she took off running, leaping into the water. He pocketed the leash and looked around. Then, strangely, he began to...sniff the air? Oh...other wolves were here. Neato. Oh! And Harper! He strolled over to his cousin and waved to her. "Hey cuz! You haven't met Juniper yet, have ya?" He pointed to the retriever, who was a little too eager to wrestle with the strange corgi.
Abioye made a soft noise of amusement as he saw the dragon leaping into the water. Not the first time he'd seen that kind of creature although he wasn't used to them being so.. small. Interesting. Made getting splashed with a bit of water worth it. It meant the old lady resting with him gave a little rumble as she was also splashed but she just thumped her tail and kept resting head on her paws. Devin was spotted donating and he gave a large grin, "Thank you! Enjoy the food or the pool, either one. Or both. But don't you go swimming right after eating." Playful scolding tone was taken on, not unlike the one he used on the animals. Izzy couldn't help himself, okay? Head cocked to the side as he regarded the question on Rus, "If he wants to go with you, maybe. Something tells me he likes to go with the flow." He perked up at Harper's approach and the old lady was all too happy to receive those scritches. "Yep, there's a pool party, open to anyone. And this old girl is Madam. We've tried renaming her but she'll only answer to that. She's got old school dignity." Izzy was not the type to get worked up around other wolves, so yes, his nose could pick up there were others here but he was happy about it. Noah was given a wave of greeting as well, all smiles when he spotted Juniper.
Rus bobbed in the water, tongue hanging out. Or maybe he was- yep he was lapping at the water. He probably shouldn't do that, but Rus would just have to deal with the bellyache that came along later. Another dog was joining the fun, and he was quick to swim over to Juniper, though how she reacted was totally up in the air, wasn't it? Animals got spooked by him sometimes, but others loved him. He was great for cuddling! Especially on hot days like this. The collar didn't help cover up the rapid clicking that he was doing, but maybe someone would think he was just.. weird. There was suddenly so much excitement! People everywhere.. now if only there was ice to chew on.
Harper Greenbush would give that doggo all the scritches in the world. "Madam, huh? She's a sweetie." Harper grins. "Whether she'd admit to it or not. As Coyotie came up, she'd say, slightly bashful, "Hey, cuz." Harper was showing off way more skin than her husband had probably seen before. Slightly awkward. "I haven't met Juniper! Once she's done wrestling," glancing at the scene, "I definitely got some pets for her though."
Devin Starr had caught the scent of wolves in the air, which wasn't a surprise. Izzy had even been recognized, though the meeting with the younger wolf was so long ago that Dev thought it would be awkward to act like he knew the man. His focus shifted to the others' who had entered, settling on Juniper for a moment. A three-legged dog was something, though she seemed to be getting along well enough. Madam was also given a quick appraisal; leaning over to scratch between her ears before he pushed to his feet. The shirt was shucked, tossed to join the towel on his chair. "Yeah, he seems like that type alright." spoken to Izzy in reference to Rus, who had taken the wolfs' attention again. Was he...drinking the pool water? Gross. A moment later the man had dived into the pool to come up on the dragon and reach out torward him. "You shouldn't drink this shit; I can get you a snowcone?" there was bound to be a vendor around here for that right?
Coyotie paused to fish around in his pockets. After a moment, he pulled out ten dollars from his wallet and gladly added them to the donation box. Noah briefly glanced over at Juniper. Despite missing a leg, she swam without any apparent trouble. She was currently occupied in trying to catch Rus's tail. Coy chuckled, then turned back to the others. Joining in on petting the old lady, he reached out a hand and scratched the back of Madam's neck. "You're a lovely little thing..." He then offered a smile to Izzy. "Where are my manners...hello, my name's Noah. Or Coyotie...whatever you prefer. Thank you for hosting this pool party, Juniper has been dying for a swim, what with this heat..." The young man seemed just a bit checked out. He always did.
Abioye couldn't keep the laughter in as he saw Rus drinking the pool water, "Buddy you might not wanna do that." Izzy seemed to know from personal experience. After a long run in the woods, sometimes you forget pools aren't for drinking. He saw Devin going after him and wished him luck. Little thing seemed a bit willful but it was adorable. Now if he'd been larger.. might be a different story. Madam was wiggling happy underneath Harper's attentions and gave the softest little boof once the woman was done, pleased with the interaction clearly. She'd been about to lay her head back down when Noah approached and she pressed her head into his hand, eyes half-closed in happiness. Izzy just gave a gentle shake of his head, "Don't worry, Madam's always the star of the show. Izzy's fine for me, nice to meet you and hey, thanks for the donation!" If he noticed Noah was a little off, he didn't even react to it. "It's good for dogs and people alike, I was more than happy to." Izzy was reaching for a burger now, seeing Madam eyeballing him and he reached for one of the doggie burgers, setting the plate between her paws and watching her chow down.
Rus was more than game for Juniper chasing his tail. Oh this was much better than things had been lately. He was having the time of his life in the water, or maybe he just felt that relieved to be cooling off? It was hard times in the Summer for a young ice dragon. He really needed to hook up with some of the others of his kind around here, learn how they survived. His head whipped up first towards Izzy, and did he take another drink just to spite him? And then he was looking at Devin, snorting as he dove in and sent water up Rus' nose. Well. Lesson learned. The SECOND snowcones were mentioned, though, he was immediately chirping away. Yes, yes, he wanted one of tho- He let out a startled squeal as Juniper closed in on that tail, turning his head and promptly.. vomiting a chunk of ice. What a weird uh.. dog.
Harper Greenbush would, after giving Madam the appropriate amount of cuddling, hop into the pool herself! She was chilling by the diving board, letting the water run over her for now. Though if Madam came close, she'd still get some chin scritches.
Coyotie. Whatever Juniper was expecting, it wasn't getting a chunk of ice tossed her way. The golden retriever yapped in confusion, then swam over to Harper. Scritches made sense! Pls give scritches thank. Noah looked over at the array of food, realizing it had been a while since he ate breakfast. He gladly began to prep himself a burger. "I used to be vegetarian, but...my situation changed. I still try to be careful with how much and where the meat is coming from." He shrugged. "It's a nice treat." He finished arranging his burger and took a bite. It was good.
Devin Starr watched Rus with a bit of curiosity...and than with something that was more like 'wtf' as the 'dog' seemingly puked up...ice. "Interesting trick." he muttered more to himself as he ducked down under the water, resurfacing to run a hand through wet locks and push them out of his face. The throwing up of ice did beg the question if he really needed to find the dragon snow cones if he could just..make his own. Than again, eating your own vomit, even if it was ice; was sort of gross. "I'll go find you ice that didn't come from your own mouth...try not to freeze the whole pool while I'm gone." he left Juniper and Rus to play fight as he pushed up from the edge of the pool and climbed out. It didn't take long for him to return with a snow cone, flavored in whatever the blue syrup was. Rasberry? He didn't know, he was more interested in the burgers, but he was curious if Rus would get out of the water to come nom on ice. He even held it out all enticing like!
Abioye clicked his tongue as Rus seemed to drink more water. Alright bud, it was your stomach, not his. Silly thing. He took a bite of his burger, savoring the taste because of course the wolf enjoyed meat. It was just in his nature to. Madam seemed to catch on that the place to be was the pool so after she cleaned her plate thoroughly, she gave a small woof before she dove in. She lazily paddled over to where everyone was gathered, a bit confused over the sudden ice floating and she went chasing after it. Slight wiggle of recognition at Harper also being in the pool and she barked at both Rus and Juniper, trying to get into their game. He kept chewing as he watched Devin try to entice Rus out of the water with a snow cone, his gaze flicking to Noah. "It's a good idea. I'm careful where meat comes from too, no worries there. I don't like the mistreatment of any animals." It's why he'd chosen his day job. Hunting was.. a little weird for him but he made the best of it.
Harper Greenbush. As Juniper got all sullen and wandered over to her, the msuculr woman woulf pull the dog close and start scritching at her, saying, "Hey, Juniper. I'm gonn call you Junie, okay? I always wanted a dog of my own but never had a situations to care for one. So I'm gonna give you all the love, aren't I? Yes I am." She'd grin for a moment, before glancing back at the two and saying, "I get that. Your body's a temple, right?" Gesturing to her own, ripped form, before going back to doting attention on Juniper. "Coy, you think you could grab me a burger? Minimal fat if you can."
Rus hadn't.. you know.. meant to be gross. This just happened sometimes when he got excited. He was still very young for a dragon, he didn't have all that control that he normally would. He'd get there! Maybe! As Devin got out of the pool and Juniper got distracted he... eyed the ice chunk floating in the water. He was just about to chew on it (gross right) when Devin caught his attention again. Sorry doggos, the snowcone was calling to him and he rocketed over to the side of the pool to clumsily clamber out. He made very quick work of chewing on the snow cone like the little monster he was. Delicious. Amazing. The best. Now if only everyone here was petting him at the same time.
Devin Starr let go of the snowcone just as soon as Rus came up to absolutely devour it. "Easy...its just ice." he should've figured it out by now that the Corgi wasn't a corgi; but he wasn't trying to draw attention to it. Rus was doing a good enough job of that all on his own, what with throwing up ice everywhere. "You want another one? Maybe a burger?" who disliked burgers? There were even doggy burgers here! Rus may be a dragon but like, burgers were universal right? Leaning down he offered the 'corgi' scratches between the ears before whistling and seeing if he'd follow the wolf over to the grill. Ordering up a burger for himself and one for Rus he settled into his previous seat and listened in on the conversation that he had missed out on. While he wouldn't interject yet, he'd at least be aware unlike before. For the moment he focused on that burger; pushing the doggo version to Rus with a slight tilt of the head. Maybe he wanted more ice though? What a weird fucking dog...he's definitely coming home to Nolen.
Coyotie. Juniper, or Junie, now, was absolutely overjoyed by Harper attention. She was so excited she swam a lap around her. Friend! New friend! Nice friend! Noah chuckled. Then, he turned back to Izzy and nodded. "Don't I know it. Uh...ever hunt your own food? I catch rabbits...err, trap them." Smooth. "In my opinion, it's the most humane way. And hey, if it isn't you, it'll be some other animal of the wild, right?" He briefly put down his burger (away from any overeager snouts, of course) and made his way back to the burger setup. "Sure thing Harp, what do you want on it?" He'd listen and prepare it to Harper's order. Then he strolled over and handed it off. He sat down by the pool and resumed chowing down on his burger. "Hey...who knows, maybe she'll come by and visit you more."
Abioye recalled Madam once it was obvious that the old girl was getting worn out. Didn't want her having a hard time after this. She happily clambered out of the pool and walked over to the chair, falling asleep under it within a few minutes. Izzy tired his hardest not to coo. A nod at Harper, "Only get one body, gotta take care of it." He watched Devin and Rus for a moment before grinning broadly, "Looks like you got yourself a new friend there." Could've been talking to either of them seeing as they seemed to be sharing a moment. Over snowcones and possibly future burgers. Noah was given a smile, "I do hunt. Only the quickest and easiest ways though and I try not to upset any delicate species. I feel like it's a good way to keep the guilt away and I never waste the meat."
Harper Greenbush would call out, "Tomatoes and onions, ketchup and mustard if they've got all that. If not, don't worry about it. If they got veggie patties, more's the better." As she'd continue stroking at Juniper every time she came around to Harper's front, holding trhe dog close, and scritching neck and chin!
Rus made quick work of the snowcone, but had enough decency to lean his head into Devin's touch. Oh look, a burger. He was slower with this, taking his time and chewing slowly, before wandering away from Devin. What? He was social, all the friends. He bumped into one of Noah's legs- he was clumsy, not rude!- and dropped his meal for whichever dog was closest and the first to get it. He had eaten about half, so he was pretty good.
Devin Starr. So far there were three werewolves and a dragon pretending to be a dog. At this rate, announcing what they were would probably shock nobody. Maybe Harper...and maybe Coyote hadn't told her about the whole werewolf thing. It was the only reason Devin wasn't just like 'Alright lets all be real here...' Listening to the talk of hunting had his attention though, taking another bite of his burger. "You know, if you all are so worried about the ecoculture or..whatever the fuck its called...." another bite of that burger, chewing before swallowing. "You should go to Hidden Valley. They do hunts regularly up in the mountains; it helps keep the populations in balance. They uh, welcome new hunters of all kinds." he hoped that would be enough to say 'Hey werewolves are welcome, go let your inner beast run wild...or whatever'. You know, without actually saying it. Whether they listened to him or not wouldn't really matter, he had done his good samaritan deed, it was time to go back to that cute little dragon...corgi...yeah corgi. Who had ditched him! He should've been offended by it, but all he could do was roll his eyes and return to finishing his burger.
Coyotie raised an eyebrow at Devin's thinly veiled attempt at hiding. Noah thought for a bit, then shook his head and chuckled. "Hey, don't worry. Harper already knows. She's a super person, too." He leaned back, apparently relieved. "Apologies. I've never met other wolves before. Except my sister, 'course. Is this...how I'm supposed to interact?" Juniper paid no mind to anything other than scritches and swimming.
Harper Greenbush grins ,at Coyotie's admission, tapping the side of her nosril and saying, "I'm not one myself, but... I'm something, and the nose knows, yeah? Y'all smell funny." She'd say, before giving more scritches to Juniper whenever she swam near her!
Abioye made quick work of his burger and snagged another, all too aware of the sound of light snoring underneath his chair. Hm. He should see about getting her back to her cozy kennel at the shelter soon. Wiggly dragon was observed and he was glad that everyone was getting food. There were indeed veggie burgers too! Izzy hadn't been sure what type to bring so he.. brought them all. The other volunteer was doing a good job of slinging them too, so even people who didn't want to swim were dropping by to get some food. Leaving donations too. It was.. nice. He glanced at Devin, pondering the offer for a minute before he nodded, "I'll have to make sure to drop by then. I'm not really one for the woods.." They spooked him. "But a more controlled environment might be nice." He chuckled, "I'm no good with other wolves usually but you guys seem nice."
Devin Starr ran a hand through his hair and sighed. "Thank fuck. Yeah so cool...anyway go hunt with them if you're so inclined. There's also a pack somewhere around here..." he trailed off as Izzy mentioned not being so good with other wolves. "Oh? Same really; pretty much been a lone wolf for over five centuries now." he wasn't sure how old the other two wolves were, but he was almost guaranteed to be the oldest wherever he went. "The mountains are better and honestly you're doing them a favor. They own plenty of animals on the ranch so its pretty much guaranteed they know their shit." in case either of them were curious on that regard. It was a ranch after all; plenty of animals there. "I ain't much for a pack; but if you ever need a hand I run the cat cafe down near the city center." he'd point vaguely in that direction. "Plenty of books there too; in case you run into something fucking weird. Ain't like there isn't plenty of that around here." he indicated Rus again. "Maybe you should stop playing at being a dog now?" he leaned forward to smirk at Rus, curious what the little dragon would do.
Rus huffed out a noise as his generous offer was seemingly not wanted. Oh well; Devin over there looked like he had a cozy lap. Rus was still soaking wet, but so was Devin, so it shouldn't be a problem right? He was heading over there just as Devin called him out, head cocking to the side and eyes widening in a very un-dog like fashion. The jig is up. Well, he'd known that was possible. He went running off around the corner, into an alley, and returned a moment later with a pair of shorts that he had (borrowed) from a trashcan, but they smelled fine! So there was that? Right? He was wet as if he had gotten into the pool already; but since everyone here had sensitive noses seemingly, they'd probably know that he was the same little dog. "You should buy me another snowcone," he told Devin with a pout. Because god knew he had no money.
Coyotie smiled. "I love the woods. I go hiking all the time..." He paused, letting the implication set in. "I'm not a lone wolf, actually. I've got my sister, but...well, if I joined a pack, I'd be an omega. I'd like to avoid that blow to my self esteem." Coy chuckled. "God, you serious? Five centuries...I haven't even been a wolf for a year." He's basically a pup. "How about you, Izzy?"
Abioye made a small noise at how old Devin was. Jesus. He was nowhere near that old. He glanced between the two wolves and then shrugged, "I'm just... 22. I've been a wolf for about seventeen years though. So I'm.. pretty much a pup too." He chuckled and shrugged his shoulders, watching as the dragon came back in human form and he gave a nod of his head at Rus. "Snow cones are that good, huh?" The snoring under his feet was getting a bit loud so with a smile, he fished out a leash and attached it to Madam's collar. "Hey guys, feel free to keep enjoying the pool and the food! I've gotta run this little old lady back to the shelter but I'm glad you all came out." Izzy definitely meant every word too. He gently crooned to Madam, stroking the side of her face, "C'mon, let's get you home."
Harper Greenbush lets her glamour down for a moment. It wasn't particularly impreessive, the muscular person now sporting pointed ears, as she says, "I'll see you later, Madam. And you'll get loads of pets." As she continues doting on Juniper.
Devin Starr shook his head and snorted at the mention of pack 'ranks'. "Eh, I dunno about all that. I don't think packs have to be so strict in all that." his pack had been of course...but that was nearly nine centuries ago. Surely things could change by now? "If I ever did the pack thing, I wouldn't fuck with all that Alpha and Omega shit anyway." sure there had to be some kind of leader; but if he did join a pack it would be a small, tight knit group of already close friends. Maybe there was already something like that around here? Who knew! "Yeah, I'm actually a lot older. Nine hundred or so...just been solo for half of it." he was an old fuck and he knew it. Izzy was leaving just than and he tossed the wolf a wave. "See you around!" he called out after the younger man, returning attention to those remaining. Including Rus who disappeared and returned with.... "Ew, did you get those from the trash?" his nose scrunched up, ugh having a sensitive nose sucked at times. "Another snowcone? Sure why not." he looked to Coyote and Harper as he pushed up from his chair and tugged his shirt back on. "You two want the joys of frozen ice?" it could be a whole group thing! Or he could just go play fetch...its not like he wasn't used to that sort of thing.
Rus's eyes widened at Harper's new ears. Oh! Well. Madam was cute and all, but he couldn't take care of himself, let alone a dog.. so he wouldn't even ask about adopting her. He didn't know shit about packs, so he couldn't chime in on that either. There had been whispers of a pack at one point but he was pretty sure that was.. gone, and he wasn't in a position to ask right now. Wolf Punch had been a cool name though, right? "Sorry! Sorry. I didn't.. have anything else.. I wasn't planning on shifting," he admitted with a shrug to Devin. "But they're kinda nice! I could wash them." Maybe jump back in the pool? Wait no focus, snow cone. "Yeah yeah we could all go. He's buying. I think." He really hoped he was buying, because Rus wasn't.
Coyotie nodded to Izzy and Madam. "Alright, see you later, both of you." Juniper stepped out of the pool, shook herself off, and made her way over to Rus's half-eaten hamburger, finishing it for herself. Then she trotted over to Harper, happy as can be! Noah chuckled. "She's really taken a liking to you." He finished up his hamburger. "Oh, I've been meaning to ask you something...but that can wait until later..." He stood up and prepped a proper doggy hamburger for a tired Juniper. He looked genuinely surprised when Devin clarified that he was, in fact, old as hell. "...Whoa. That's...pretty old." At the promise of ice cones, he looked over at Harper and asked, "Wanna go?"
Harper Greenbush continues scritching at Juniper, and she would glance at Coyotie and says, "Yeah, okay," pulling herself out of the water and grabbing a nearby towel as she asks, "Where to? I hope it's another place where I look acceptable like this.""
Devin Starr slipped back into his flip-flops and eyes Rus for a moment. "Do you have like...anywhere to stay?" he had his serious doubts, given the man was digging clothes out of the trash but hey. You never knew with some supernaturals! Speaking of those, he didn't seem to remotely mind the sprout of ears that Harper now sported; grabbing up his towel and running it through his hair like it was an every day sight. "Yeah yeah, I'll buy." he glanced between Noah and Harper, flashing a grin when they gave their agreeance. "Stay like that all you want." he assured Harper, tossing the towel over a shoulder. "There's an ice cream store nearby somewhere." he pointed vaguely in the direction of storefronts down the road. "By the way, the names Devin...." he had caught Harper and Noah's name before, so he was really focused on Rus. Otherwise he was going to call him puppy, pooch or something equally ridiculous. Best to just give him a name and avoid all those shenanigans!
Rus. "Oh.. You know, I..." Rus gestured vaguely at the question of where he was staying. The woods were nice! Really nice. Especially when you were a wild and free baby dragon.. r.. right? Anyway. Oh look! his burger was getting eaten, excellent. "I'm Rus," he chimed in to the general group after Devin gave up his name. He looked so much different as a person; beefy and a little weathered, but he'd mimicked various popular humans to get there. "Snowcone's're this way!" He was uh.. quite obviously stoked about this. "I'm an ice dragon," he offered up, since they all seemed to be something Not Human each, so he felt like it was okay to spill the beans. "And it's hot. Snowcones are the best human thing ever."
Coyotie nodded along to Harp's words. "And allows dogs. I'm not leaving little Juniper alone." He called her over and leashed her. He nodded to the rest. "Nice to meet you, Devin." Then Coy looked at Rus curiously. "An ice dragon, really? That's wild..." Noah shrugged. "I'm a werewolf, since we're sharing. I was bit by my sister." He smirked.
Harper Greenbush rolls her shoulder in a shrug, saying, "Since we're all sharing, I'm a Titanborn. Y'know, the things that existed before the greek gods? I absorbed one. Kinda. Still dealing with all the... supernatural stuff." She'd nod towards Coyotie, "Lead the way. If we can get somewhere I can get Junie here more pets, even better."
Devin Starr. "Uh huh...well if you want to follow me home one day my boyfriend would probably nut at meeting a dragon." or run? One of those...this dragon didn't seem all that scary. "Rus...lets get you a snowcone and maybe some clothes that don't smell like ass." he slipped another twenty into that donation box as the second volunteer seemed to be cleaning up and packing. He wasn't going to miss it after all. "I'm a werewolf..if that wasn't obvious as fuck." he figured if everyone else was sharing he would to. "Can't say I've seen an ice dragon or a titanborn...meet all sorts of people out here huh?" he hummed lightly, depositing his wallet back into his pocket just in time to feel his phone vibrate. A quick check of the message and he frowned. "Well shit, guess I'll have to ditch out on those snowcones." he would still pay though, offering Coyote a twenty and jerking a thumb to Rus. "Keep him out of trouble?" and with that he was making a quick exit!
Coyotie was left holding twenty dollars and apparently also dragon-sitting. Not how he thought this day would turn out, but life is good at surprising you like that. "Well hey, let's go get some ice cream, then. See you around, Devin." He offered Juniper's leash over to Harper. "Hey, wanna walk her?" A soft smile. With that, he headed off to the ice cream shop!
Harper Greenbush grins gently, saying, "Of course I do." As she takes Juniper's leash and starts walking hre along, saying, "You got a good dog here, Noah."
