 times have changed. After exposure to supernatural entities, beasts, and all sorts of various types of creatures, the world has grown... darker. While a simple, vague treaty has been granted between the two governments of both mankind and supernatural, that doesn't mean that smaller wars through cities don't erupt from time to time.
Hunters have made their lives' prime within the hellhole of it all: Basin City. In an effort to retain a sense of normalcy the city offers job opportunities for those who want to lead more ordinary lives. Still, it harbors far more criminal activity than the entire west coast. Basin City, colloquially known as "Sin City", is home to many beasts who've staked their claim in its various districts. If it's not a war between humans and supernaturals it's a likely case of the supernaturals against themselves.
Why anyone would come to a place like this? Ranked #1 on the top 10 most dangerous cities to live in, the police force, local government, and general populace have banded together to make Sin City a better, calmer place to live for humans and supernaturals alike.
