These are the basic mechanics of the RP we'll be participating in and running. The reason they are here is for ease of access to those already in this section or the midst of writing a post and want a short refresher on basic mechanics. For sake of ease I am going to list what you can and can't do as there's no concrete rolling mechanics or the like.

What you can do

Tell the GM what you desire to do, whether it be interacting with a merchant or planning the movements of an army.

Remember you can do anything you want in this RP. Whether it be playing as a King who desires peace or a warmongering mercenary, or even just a peasant trying to find his way in the world it is all up to you.

What you can't do

Assume that all actions taken are successful and everyone likes you. A GM may cede control of an NPC to you for a time but ultimately has final say as to what NPCs will do. If you're not sure about something ask, there's no harm in taking a minute to make sure you are within the bounds the GM is willing to allow.

You cannot take control of someone else' character, though this is already covered in the rules section it never hurts to have a reminder.

If you want to start your own RP in the Azmodal setting, you are more than welcome to. The only rule is that any lore changes you want to be made canon must be run by the admin staff first.

And as a note a GM in a specific RP may have specific mechanics they want you to abide by. Be respectful of that and abide by it or choose not to participate.
