(I'm not entirely sure if this is okay. I understand anyone from anywhere is welcome, but I'll take some liberties with the approach. If that's not okay I'll rewrite my post! I also issue no pressure on matching this post - however much you want is fine. )
The sun shone bright and warm on this late morning. It was warm, but not too hot to break out sweating - just right for an airy getup with slippers while out and about. Sezu's sunglasses were very slowly sliding down the wide bridge of her nose while she stared out of the car window. The scenery was gorgeous here and just what she needed on her little holiday.
The plan was to drive up to the beach, bunker up in a lovely beach house and spend two weeks doing nothing but shopping, partying, flirting in the sun and relaxing near the water before it was time to go back doing hard work. Being a model looked like a luxurious and fun life on the outside, but the days were long, the spotlights hardly left you in public and a lot of work went into her looks each and every day. It was tiring to be doted on and prettied up.
She was snapped out of her musings by the stuttering sounds from the engine. The driver cursed a couple of times and slowed down, coming to a stop at the side of the road. Sezu's brows arched in surprise, then creased in annoyance. "Why are we stopping? I don't see a beach yet."
"I'm sorry Ma'am, it looks like the engine gave up."
"Then hurry up and call someone to get it fixed."
The middle aged man dialed a number on his cellphone, listened to the beeping and hung up. "No service in this area, Ma'am. Would you like to wait in the car while I look for a phone somewhere?"
She huffed and dismissed him with a gesture. "Fine, fine. Just make it quick." With the heels she wore, she had no intention of making a walk to god knew where. The driver excused himself and she looked back to the sketches in her lap. They were rough drafts of the new lingerie collection for the fall, but nothing pleased her about them.
When she looked out the window again, she spotted a sign next to a set of steep looking stairs. "KOI HOUSE" The stairs disappeared into the trees, covering that side of a very tall hill.
"What kind of a name is that?" she muttered to herself, peering down the street. The driver was still trudging off in the distance and she slumped further in her seat. At this rate it would be an hour or more until they were on their way again! She sat there for another five minutes, playing with a pen and letting her eye wander back to the sign. Well... If she was going to be stuck here, a small visit wouldn't hurt, would it?
She grabbed her purse and stepped out of the car, adjusting her dress before slamming the door shut and approaching the stairs. Her heels clicked loudly on the pavement, but she barely heard the noise anymore herself. "Here goes nothing."
It was a hefty climb, taking her a good five minutes to reach the top. By then she was panting, supporting herself with her hands on her knees with the mass of cotton candy hair tumbling past her face. After a minute of catching her breath, she looked up properly and drank in the beautiful surroundings. Somehow it felt different up here. She also hadn't thought the hill was this tall and steep! Looking over her shoulder, she saw nothing but trees and the path she followed up disappearing among them.
"I deserve a cupcake for that walk," she quietly said to herself before a grin spread on her delicate face. Within a couple of moments she carefully opened the house's front door, looking at the interior design. Spotting a desk, she approached.

Two newbies in one day? Carna glanced up from her book, giving this latest arrival a reproachful glare.
"You don't have an appointment. No one ever bothers to make appointments anymore. Why are you here?" She looked the other girl up and down, scaling from the tip of her hairline, to the shoes on her feet. The girl looked exhausted, but pretty. Carna found herself tugging self consciously on her fuzzy black ear.

Sezu tightened her hold on her bag, raising her eyebrows behind her shades with a mixture of surprise and arrogance. "Excuse me? Is that how you treat all of your guests?" She gave the room another look over, then dismissed her words with a gentle wave of her hand. "I don't even know what this place is supposed to be. My car broke down by the road down the path with the stairs, and god knows how long it will take my driver to find someone to fix it up."
A stray lock of hair was forced back behind her perked ear. "Do you have a phone I can use?"
