Rules Update

Please be aware that some terminology updates have been made to the rules!

"Rape is not permitted. As per Furcadia/ Dragon's Eye Productions Rules and Conduct policy (Rule 4), usage of the word rape or any variation (raping, raped, rapist, rapeable, ect) are not permitted ANYWHERE in Furcadia. You may not engage in roleplay that includes obvious rape scenes. Non-consensual is another term for rape and is not permitted. Sexual themes including the terminology of 'forced' are also not permitted, such as forced incest."

Non-consensual and 'forced' themes have been added to the list of themes not allowed in the dream, or on character sites such as f-list.

    Nothing wrong with doing this! It's just non-consensual/forced sex we're talking about.

    Might need to add a bit more clarifying terminology- but we are specifically relating 'non-consensual' to sex, which is why it is merged in with the rape statement. The dream's general theme is non-consensual with slavery of course, that is all fine. We are just specifically updating the terminology in regards to sex and f-list.

    I'm pretty sure the rule only applies if it's RPed in the dream, but it'd be no different of staff to give a heads up of the new rule, as they do when people try to RP their character as severely underage/appearing as such.

    No consent is in reference to the F-List kink 'nonconsensual', which explicitly states forcing someone to have sex against their will. Here's a quote from the F-List wiki page, which you can find here.

    Since it's essentially a polite way of referring to the big r-word, it was banned. I hope that clears things up for you. :)

    In that case, what is to say that if I played a slave and wished to engage in non-con rp and had that on my RPR - but didn't play it on Furcadia. How would you guys expect to enforce that? RPR is not Furcadia. Saying "on character sites" sounds like overstepping boundaries.

    It seems more of an OOC 'don't RP this here' sort of deal that will be addressed OOC, not an IC one. The person RPing it out is still making the concious decision to do it, afterall, which is what they're speaking against. It is not permitted in Furcadia's TOS and shouldn't be expected to be allowed.

    My concern here is people put NC on their pages to mean "no consent" as to violence, controlling the character, et cetera so enforcing this might be kind of... eh? Also the fact that this is a slave dream, one could argue that even if a slave submits to these things do they really have choice to consent? I don't see TGT Staff saying hey! Don't do the thing! The slave doesn't want it! Is it supposed to be assumed and blacked over in cases of harem rentals? I'm curious how this will all be handled.
