House slaves made their rounds through The Golden Tether, leaving little cards with a floral theme and looping elegant handwriting in suites or handing it directly to patrons who fit the criteria that was given to them.
Upon the back of the card was writing that explained things in further details:My fellow patrons, you are welcomed to watch the demonstration and partake in the array of refreshments that will be available for enjoyment. Should a patron wish to participate, you may bring your own bird or borrow one of mine. I've already acquired some slaves to help with the demonstrations as well as general needs, unless you wish to use your own. I look forward to making more connections and friends.
Time: 1500 (3pm) FST 15th November
Place: *Garden
Host: Ciraelin
Slaves will serve as the relay point for the birds, holding various foods for the raptors to retrieve. They will not be provided protective gloves. Prior to their turn as a relay point, a slave will have to roll a 1d4 to determine how well they did.
1 = The slave has chickened out and dropped the food, resulting in severe injury from the bird.
2 = The slave has moved too much and has been injured by the bird's claws or beak.
3 = The slave has a slightly unsteady hand and was nipped at by the birds' beak.
4 = The slave has successfully served as a relay point and has no injuries.
OOC Note: Badges for participating slaves will be awarded at the end of the event. If you're interested in signing up a slave character, please let me know in the comment section or via DM so I can make a list to keep track. Depending on how many participants there are, slave characters might be able to participate for multiple rounds, but no promises. Technically, there is no official end time to the event as I intend to write for as long as possible and as long as people wish to continue writing!
