A spiritual successor to the Friday Night Fights, and back through popular demand, the cage fights will return to the Tether's fighter population courtesy of the Ludus Magnus of the house Grimm. Though there are no official postings about the club, there are whispers throughout the Tether, a friend of a friend of a friend who participates and boasts their winnings. Men and women alike may join so long as they can put their fists where their mouths are. This is your chance to prove that beneath the business suit, you wield a warrior's spirit.
How To Play:
The fights that take place at this event are unofficial in regards to the credited fight system, but will be recorded on this thread. Regard it as a separate fighting log to the official one. The fighting will be determined using both the Tether's sparring system, and the manual dice rolls that had developed through the Drakorian Siege to allow those without stats to join in.
For those unaware of it, it requires little more than rolling a 1d3 to determine the outcome; 1 equals a miss, 2 equals a severity roll of 1d10 and 3 equals a severity roll of 1d20. There are no attack or defense bonuses, and all fighters start at 40 HP.
Occasionally, there will be special fights within the event. This can include adding weapons, pitting man against beast and a series of certain criteria that will take effect for that fight only. These special fights will be announced upon the thread before the event begins.
In order to participate, one just needs to turn up at the event. However the fighters will be determined through random dice roll as several fights will take place throughout the night, depending on how long each one takes.
Rules:
~ First rule about Fight Club, is that you don't talk about Fight Club.
~ All of TGT's arena rules apply to this event.
~ All of TGT's general rules apply to this event.
~ A time limit of ten minutes will be enforced to every fight to ensure they do not drag on.
~ Double attacks will still be available in both fighting methods, but as per usual there is one one per fight.
~ Weapons will not be allowed unless otherwise specified before hand, and only light armor (natural scales, leather armor, etc) will be accepted.
~ Free patrons and owned slaves are both allowed to join the event. Unowned slaves will have to get the IC permission of a staff member. Humans and anthros (and anything in between) will be allowed at the event, but feral characters will be barred unless otherwise specified before hand, regardless of any sentient ability.

The second fight will take place on Friday the 9th of October at 6:00pm FST in the *underhall.
It will use the fight system, so please ensure you have aspects set in on this page here. Any level may join.
The fighters will be given a selection of random weapons that they will roll a dice to determine which weapon they get.
The list to determine from is below. If any of the fighters have no aspects on their weapons, they will receive no bonus for wielding one of these weapons.
1. Sickle.
2. Frying pan.
3. Bull whip.
4. A broom.
5. Halberd.
6. A blunt butter knife.
7. Gladius.
8. A floppy foot long dildo on a stick.
9. Spear and shield.
10. A bag full of sand.

Thank you once again to everyone who took part or came to watch!
For next month's fight, people are free to make their suggestions as to what sort of weapons they'd like to see on the rota - serious or silly. I'll chose the best ones and put them up on next month's rota when it goes up!
