Aekra's nearing level six, and I am thinking about feats (although she will not receive it until Level 8 ). I want to combine two feats, but remove their WIS boost in exchange for taking their effects.
They are Medic:
During a short rest, you can clean and bind the wounds of up to six willing beasts and humanoids. Make a DC 15 Wisdom (Medicine) check for each creature. On a success, if a creature spends a Hit Die during this rest, that creature can forgo the roll and instead regain the maximum number of hit points the die can restore. A creature can do so only once per rest, regardless of how many Hit Dice it spends.
And Healer:
You are an able physician, allowing you to mend wounds quickly and get your allies back in the fight. You gain the following benefits:
When you use a healer’s kit to stabilize a dying creature, that creature also regains 1 hit point.
As an action, you can spend one use of a healer’s kit to tend to a creature and restore 1d6 + 4 hit points to it, plus additional hit points equal to the creature’s maximum number of Hit Dice. The creature can’t regain hit points from this feat again until it finishes a short or long rest.
Both grant a +1 to WIS, which Aekra cannot take because her WIS is already 20. I would like to remove the +1s in order to combine the effects like so. Both also grant Expertise, so I'd just take Expertise and ask for a new boon as well.
-You gain Expertise in Medicine checks.
-As an action, you can spend a healer's kit to tend to a creature and restore 1d6+ 4, plus HD amount HP. This creature cannot be healed like this again until it takes a rest.
-When you use a healer's kit to stabilize a dying creature, the creature gains one hit point, regaining consciousness.
-During a Short rest, you can make a DC15 Medicine check to heal up to six willing creatures. On success, they regain the maximum amount of health for a hit die, instead of rolling. This can be used for one hit dice.
For extra boosts, I don't know. We can talk about it.

I don't know that it needs something extra. Is Aekra already Proficient in Herbalism Kits? If so, I could toss that in.
She does not, so I'll take that.
So how often can I make a potion? One every short rest? One a long rest?

I'll just give you a discount on 'buying' them. You can get healing potions for 1/2 price by buying the ingredients and doing the labor yourself.
