Stepping aboard the ship which would take her to ZàÞça, In'Anna felt much better. Despite the excitement of Püertagœ and meeting so many people, not to mention growing her skills and clients for her business, she missed traveling. She inhaled deeply the air of freedom which the Sweet Way seemed to exude, and smiled as her hair was messed up by the breeze. Yes, she could afford a day away from the Glass Clinic, jewelry making and everyday worries. She deserved a little vacation, especially since her satchel was full of jewelry she hoped to sell in the ZàÞçan markets for good P'ee K'äh.

She had initially wanted to travel to Fawzia-Kedet, a city she had heard many good things about, but then had remembered the kind Ãoni healer she had met a while ago, during the Medical Symposium, and her words about the port-city which was a top tourist destination. If she earned enough P'ee K'äh in the markets, she could even afford a few Hours' worth of exploring a lovely new place. She was also curious about Bók-T'ak 's Temple, although she would never admit it to anyone if asked.

Traveling light, she was dressed in a sleeveless Zigră of which mixed beautifully grey, gold and black threads for a striking coloring which matched well her complexion, and she could not resist wearing her precious Sho'kră talisman. Some of her energy was stored in there to be used for emergency healing in case of need, and as much as emergency funds, it was something she liked having on her. The black satchel filled with plenty of jewelry to be sold only contained a few necessities, but since this was supposed to be a short visit In'Anna was not particularly concerned. Other than Mæja, öž Idunn Arnvidur, it was unlikely that she would meet anyone she knew. Tourists, she had found, were not particularly picky about clothing.

She spent the few Hours of the trip admiring the Sweet Way or in friendly chatter with the passengers; many Khah' and humans from Püertagœ apparently loved vacationing in the old city in the south. She learned many things about the history of ZàÞça (and Püertagœ also), the best places to go for food, and a few interesting rumors about a new continent discovered in the south. When the ship finally docked, she was truly excited and happy to see what the day would bring for her.
There was a gentle lapping sound as the waves of the sea beat against the wood of the ship. A firm breeze was blowing from the sea and felt rather refreshing against the skin. The wind was guiding the wooden ship across its surface and ever closer to the final destination. A blessing from the Goddess, Bók-T'ak, on this fine day. The ship had been traveling for several Hours from Püertagœ carrying various goods and supplies to the desert city, ZàÞça.

It was late during the Hour, when the ship made its way into the port. The crew went about their tasks in making sure the ship was secure. The Captain was seen speaking quietly with one of the staff members working the dock. They were discussing the contents and undergoing an inspection of the goods. This inspection would wrap up quickly and the ship was given the clear to remain in the port. Footsteps echoed along the wood as the Captain made her way towards the rail of the ship. It had been quite some time since the last time since Xanadia was last in ZàÞça.

The desert air caressed her skin as she stood there. Traces of a smile played on her lips as she stood there staring out over the city she called home. Off in the distance was the house where she grew up. Xanadia did not spend as much time as she used to in the city. Most of her time she was traveling around the world on her ship delivering goods and making contacts. When she was not traveling, she spent her time in the city of Püertagœ. Xani was not sure if her mother would be there, at the house, or if anyone else was staying there. There would be the normal staff their family employed to watch and care for the property.

“I wonder what the next Hour will bring,” she said before heading back to her Captain’s quarters to enjoy the rest of the Hour.

After getting some rest, Xani rose and dressed in a bright red Öðin after freshening up. Even in the desert city she preferred to dress more like a man. She walked with a measured stride and held her head up high. Xani was making her way through the streets of the city when something happened she was not expecting.
In'Anna had spent five extremely profitable candlemarks at the tourist market, until she had parted with all her creations for triple the P'ee K'äh she had initially hoped to get. It seemed that people were more generous while vacationing; she would remember that lesson, and maybe try to sell a few things in the Twelve Ring of Püertagœ as well, although it wouldn't do to lower the brand that she was attempting to create for the Enchanting Shoppe. But maybe if there was a fair coming up, or a special occasion, she may try it. Every tourist, rich or poor, had to go through the Twelve Ring at some point either coming down from the ship or going back, and she had seen a number of very nice stores there.

She was extremely careful with her P'ee K'äh being safe and secure; the markets were extra crowded and she didn't want to lose any of them. She clutched her satchel tightly as she started to walk away from her temporary merchant stall, but unfortunately was less careful with her surroundings than she should have. In less than a blink of an eye, a monkey jumped out of nowhere and snatched her precious Sho'kră talisman from around her neck. Before In'Anna could attempt anything, it was gone, and she could only scream in outrage and run in the general direction of the little thief, making hurried excuses when she bumped into anyone. It was as if the monkey was taunting her; it would occasionally stop for a brief moment before continuing, and the Khah' female became increasingly frustrated with the pursuit. "Come back here, you nuisance, give it back!"

Her agility, gained in the Mountains, had not been lost, but running in a Zigră was not so easy, and in addition, she still needed to hold tight to the satchel full of P'ee K'äh. The race in the streets of ZàÞça should have been drawing more attention; it didn't, as if people expected this to happen. But In'Anna had no time to reflect upon such things; she was running slightly out of breath, and still not getting much closer to the little monkey.
People were milling about on the streets as Xanadia weaved her way through the various people and streets of the city. Various conversations reached her ears as she walked with a slow pace. Tourists were everywhere now that it was the busy season. New people from all over the world came here for one reason or another. She was not in any great hurry to reach her destination. In truth, she was content to spend her time on the streets and catching up on the latest news.

Xanadia began to look around hearing a small commotion that was happening nearby. No one seemed perturbed by shouting in the streets. The voice sounded somewhat familiar to her as it registered the words in her mind. Xani could not place where she heard the voice straight away or whom it belonged to. However, she did not have long to think about where she heard the voice before she saw the cause for the commotion. Running straight at her was a small monkey carrying what looked like some kind of talisman.

“Not so fast,” she said giving a smirk towards the monkey.

Xanadia kept her eyes glued on the monkey. She was going to try and snag the beast, or at least it’s prize, as it tried to pass her by. The woman was not certain how much luck she would have in the matter. Each moment seemed to slow to a crawl. Her breathing slowed and she prepared to strike. As the monkey neared the striking zone Xanadia lashed out quickly. She managed to snag the beast in her hold. After a brief struggle she released the monkey from her hold.

“The monkey got away but not with the prize it was after, my beautiful and fair maiden.”

Xanadia looked back to lay eyes on In’Anna, the lovely shopkeeper she met in the Third Ring. She had gone back to commission a few simple pieces to give to her slaves, from the woman. A larger and nicer piece was commissioned to give to someone special. It remained on her ship waiting for that one person that Xani wanted to gift the present to. The talisman was clasped in Xani’s hand as she looked over the woman before her. A smile spread across her lips in the process.

“It is lovely to see your enchanting beauty again, In’Anna. What brings you to ZàÞça?”
In’Anna was growing increasingly frustrated and upset with the race. It was as if the little monkey was mocking her efforts. She was not out of shape, just … it was difficult to run in the Zigră; in addition, she didn’t want to retrieve the talisman only to lose her hard earned P'ee K'äh. She was starting to breathe more heavily from the exertion, her face acquiring a fine sheen of sweat and a red glow when she saw the commotion. Someone had caught the little thief! She hurried to catch up, her chest slighting heaving and her hair slightly in disarray. “Thank you!” It was only then that she realized who exactly was the smiling woman who now held the precious Sho'kră talisman. Xanadia Zûtran, one of the daughters of the Zûtran Family, and one of her more important customers for exactly that reason. She smiled, relieved but also slightly blushing at the words. Xanadia was a huge flirt, In’Anna thought, but at the moment she was a serendipitous appearance.

“Taityl Zûtran! What a fortunate coincidence! My first visit in ZàÞça and …” she huffed slightly. All was well if it ended well. “I came to sell some of my creations and to visit at the same time. It’s a delightful city.” In’Anna could now forgive the little monkey, even if she was still a little flushed from the earlier excitement. “You have my utmost thanks; that talisman is …” she closed her mouth before she could finish the sentence. Should she tell Taityl Zûtran the history behind it? In’Anna could not imagine that the other woman would be interested in the small piece. It was carefully and beautifully worked, a delicate thing, and not something that In’Anna herself would be able to craft yet, but the Zûtrani were among the wealthiest families. It wouldn’t be something that Xanadia had never seen before.

“How can I repay you for recovering it?” Not only was the talisman something of sentimental value, but In’Anna used it to store some of her energy. Enchanting was something she had learned in Uwhang and constantly practiced, but it was unlikely that Xanadia would notice anything amiss. The Sho'kră metal was not able to hold a huge amount, so someone would need to be sensitive to magic in order to feel anything. At least, this was what In’Anna thought at the time.
Xanadia thought In'Anna looked rather stunning with her face a slight red and her chest rising and falling with her labored breaths. The faint blush did not escape her attention since In’Anna was looking radiant at the moment, in her eyes. A slight smirk played on her lips as In’Anna offered her thanks for retrieving the treasure. Xanadia could offer to show her around the city. It would be a simple task for Xani and would give her an excuse and reason for the two of them to spend more time together.

“You’re as radiant as the dual suns with the color to match.”

The Zutrani woman smiled as she listened to the brief explanation that In’Anna offered to her. She was happy to see the lovely female looking relieved at the return of the talisman. To Xanadia, it did not seem too valuable or expensive but she felt like the value was more sentimental than anything. When In’Anna stopped her explanation, about the talisman, in the middle of her conversation, Xanadia grew rather curious. The smirk spread across her face when she was asked about a reward. She knew exactly what she wanted. She placed a finger against her bottom lip in thought but it was mainly to draw out the moment.

“Join me for a drink on my ship. You can finish telling me the rest of the story about this exquisite talisman. How does that sound, my lovely and charming companion?”
You’re as radiant as the dual suns with the color to match.

In'Anna had often wondered, in the presence of Xanadia Zûtran, if the flirting and the over-the-top compliments were in fact carefully studied and much more subtle than people may think. Irrespective of the truth, the remark of the other woman only made her flush a little harder from embarrassment. Indeed, what a moment for one of her most important customers to witness. Her clothes and hair must be in such disarray, and her face must be so red. The anger at the little thieving monkey instantly returned tenfold.

"Join me for a drink on my ship. You can finish telling me the rest of the story."

It was out of the question for In'Anna to refuse such a reasonable and otherwise flattering request. Therefore, she nodded and smiled gratefully as she reached out and retrieved her talisman. It had been damaged by the monkey, and she couldn't put it back around her neck without first repairing the latch, and so she stuffed it insider her satchel carefully with a sad smile. It had been with her for such a long time ... She couldn't tell just from a quick glance if it would be easy to repair or more difficult, and she couldn't just ignore Xanadia to take a closer look. It would need to wait until later. For now, as she lifted her eyes towards the taller woman, she made sure to smile again and if Xanadia noticed that it was more tremulous she didn't say anything.

"I would love to, Taityl Zûtran. Although I am afraid the story of my talisman may not be very interesting to you. It has more of a sentimental value, you see."
Xanadia was happy to hear that her proposal for a drink was accepted. It would be good to sit down and spend some quality time with In’Anna getting to know her outside of the Glass Clinic. She suppressed a small chuckle seeing In’Anna’s flustered expression with the flirting. It could be a little much for most people but In’Anna was quite resilient and somewhat impervious to her charms.

The sad smile almost slipped by her attention but Xani caught sight of it from the corner of her eye. Her eyes were mostly focused on In’Anna placing her talisman in a safe location. A half frown formed on her face but did not last long. She turned her frown upside down to give a winning smile. Xani was not going to let the woman feel down in the dumps.

“Do not let darkened clouds and rain spoil that radiance you give off. I will cover the cost of repairs for your talisman. I hate seeing a beautiful woman upset.”

Xanadia moved her hand to attempt to brush away the sad expression on In’Anna’s face. She would offer a hand or even an arm to escort In’Anna back towards the ship after her attempt either failed or were successful in getting a sort of smile from her. If the young woman would even accept her offer of an escort. Xanadia could lead the way to the ship regardless of how the two of them got there. She just wanted this opportunity to be close to the other woman and feel her skin or body heat against her own.

"My ship is moored in the port. Allow me to escort you."
It was a very generous offer, and In'Anna said as much before refusing politely. "I wouldn't be a good jewelry maker if I had to pay to repair my own things, would I? It was just sad to think that something which has been with me for as long as I remember may have been lost forever or damaged beyond repair. But such is life, I guess." In'Anna wasn't overly attached to things or places, it was not in her nature. She therefore smiled back quite easily, accepting the offered hand and praying that in her already flushed state the additional blush would not be noticeable.

She tried to remember if Xanadia Zûtran had always been so ... friendly. Maybe it was the fact that they were outside of the Glass Clinic, or maybe it was because of ZàÞça. The bustle of the markets and the Miphak pests aside, the old city was extremely pleasant and In'Anna had so far liked what she had seen. She vaguely remembered a rumor that the Zûtrani were originally from ZàÞça and asked Xanadia if that was true. Learning more about the Greater Families what something that In'Anna enjoyed a lot, not only because she needed to know that stuff if she wanted to be successful, but also because she found power and strength, in all forms, absolutely fascinating.

As she was being led away towards the piers, she caught a glimpse of the Bók-T'ak's Temple above the city, and she opened her mouth to ask ... only to close it when she thought better about it. With all the flirting that Xanadia was prone to, it would have been a poor choice of conversation and In'Anna certainly did not want any further blushing on her part. Not if she wanted to present as a sophisticated and talented business woman who was taking steps to have her Enchanting Shoppe become a reality sometime soon.
Xanadia’s offer would still stand even though In’Anna turned her down. She would still pay for any repairs that In’Anna could not fix. That seemed a little unlikely in her mind. From what Xanadia had seen of her craftsmanship there was no doubt she would be able to fix her talisman with ease. In’Anna had a lot of potential crafting jewelry.

Her eyes looked over the city as they walked. There were so many historical buildings throughout the city. The architecture was still impressive after all this time. She caught sight of the temple off in the distance. The memories or her younger years flitted through her mind. A light chuckle rumbled in her chest catching sight of the other woman looking towards the temple.

“There is the temple for Bók-T'ak. I have some memories from there. Are you interested in seeing the temple?”

Xanadia smiled hoping to get another reaction from In’Anna. The temple was a good place for tourists to visit. There was an almost magical feel to being high up and touched by the goddess. Despite her time at the temple not being the most ideal, for her, it still left an impression on her mind.
There is the temple for Bók-T'ak. I have some memories from there. Are you interested in seeing the temple?

That was certainly not something that In'Anna expected to hear; she blushed (although she hoped it wouldn't be very noticeable) and paused briefly, biting her bottom lip while she pondered her response. A quick glance at the temple was followed by one towards Xanadia, more speculative. Maybe the things that In'Anna had heard, rumors, were just that. Could she afford not to visit such an important place? Would the Goddess be upset if she did not? In'Anna did not particularly care to find out. She honored Vojshā above all others, but while in Püertagœ she took great care to honor Q'Tam'šmă, Mother of All, and here in ZàÞça it was Bók-T'ak and VüƑ.

Finally deciding on her turn of phrase, she turned again to look Xanadia more squarely in the eyes. "I should, right? To pay my respects to Bók-T'ak and pray for favorable winds on my journey back?" If she was also curious about those rumors, well, who could fault her? After all, one's duty towards the Gods took precedence, and it was really fortunate that she had encountered Xanadia to remind her of that. Suddenly, thinking of VüƑ, the incident with the Miphak thief could be seen into an entirely new light, as if her beloved Vojshā had lifted her veil for a short moment.
A smile spread across her lips hearing the words from In’Anna’s mouth. It would be a bad omen and ill tidings to leave the city without praying for safe passage. Everyone in the city knew that the Goddess, Bók-T'ak, was a fickle deity. Xanadia often prayed for her own safe passage at the temple before returning to her other home in Püertagœ. Her eyes lingered for a brief moment on the amazing architecture of the temple before shifting back to the lovely woman standing near her.

Xanadia would meet the stunning gaze of the other woman. An idea was forming in her mind and she did not mind if the drink was delayed on her ship. They could get to that in time if In’Anna wanted to make a pit stop at the temple. Xanadia was not in any rush to leave the city or her present company. Her eyes would flick back towards the temple very briefly as she nodded her head towards the large structure.

“Do you want to check it out now, my lovely companion, or wait until you are ready to depart from this fair city? There is still plenty we can explore in this wonderful place.”

Xanadia was trying to figure out which way her companion was leaning. If she preferred one option over the other. Xani had left out the fact that her harem was on the boat. Most people who knew who she was knew about her proclivities. It was no secret that she preferred the company of women. If In’Anna knew that or not about her was unknown to her.
In’Anna, of course, had no idea about any harem; there had been rumors, but Püertagœ was rife with them. Gossip about the Zûtrani family ranged from their having connections to pirates, Xanadia appreciating more the company of women than men (which In’Anna had started to suspect may be true, at least in part), their matriarch having been exiled, and finally a series of rumors about how the Family worshiped Bók-T'ak, although In’Anna had no specific details on that. But all the Greater Families were surrounded by gossip, as well as a number of other well-known individuals. In’Anna believed, above all, that she should protect herself from rumor-mongering; but that was pretty much all.

Therefore, when Xanadia suggested visiting the temple or exploring the city, the dark Khah’ female was simply flattered and happy, and thinking more about what business discussions this time spent together may lead to. Maybe if Xanadia really loved her work, In’Anna would tell her more about her plans for the Enchanting Shoppe, and trying to ensure her support and patronage. That was worth the many steps to the temple; besides, it wasn’t like spending time in the presence of Xanadia Zûtran was something onerous and distasteful. Rather, In’Anna felt rather flattered by the attention and friendliness bestowed upon her by this rich, powerful and beautiful woman.

Her grey eyes flickered similarly to Xanadia’s and curiosity won. “I would love to do both, actually, I have time before my ship leaves.” In’Anna meant the temple, of course, but the city itself seemed lovely. She had sold all of her creations already, and the price was good, why not enjoy the rest of the time? Her smile was slightly more polite and reserved than Xanadia’s, but delighted and friendly nonetheless. After a moment, however, she frowned slightly. “But I don’t wish to impose, Taityl Zûtran. You’ve helped me out so much already.”
Xanadia’s mind was awash in ideas hearing that In’anna was willing to visit the temple. While she had other ideas in mind that could come down the road. There was a subtle art to making another woman swoon and fall for someone. Xani wanted to take her time and sweep the other woman off her feet the right way. Her mind went back to the architecture of the temple which, to her, was quite stunning. It was intricate yet displayed a certain power much like the wind which Bók-T'ak was the Goddess of. Xanadia would lightly place her finger against In’anna’s lips. The smile did not falter from her lips as she met the other woman’s gaze.

“Tis no trouble, Taityl In’anna. I offered to show you around the temple since I have time to spare before I head back to Püertagœ. Since you are willing to accompany me it is no imposition. This honor and delight is mine to enjoy can be part of my payment for assisting you. You should still join me for a drink after we visit the temple, my stunning beauty. Will that suffice?”

In’anna was not sure if being in her presence was overwhelming her or not. Some people were not equipped to handle having the attention of the rich and powerful on them. From what she could tell, In’anna was handling herself rather well. This was a good sign for Xanadia which she hoped boded well for her trip home. Xani would offer her arm to In’anna to serve as her escort. She would lead the way whether In'anna took the offer or not. Xani set a decent pace that was not too fast nor too slow.

“Perhaps while we walk, you can tell me more about your work and the shop.”
Xanadia Zûtran was forward and flattering, In’Anna already knew this; still, the finger placed against her lips, a familiar shushing which had its place amongst friends and family, or lovers, took her by surprise and grey eyes widened even as they met the dark gaze of the other woman. The words reassured her, polite and formal, until the reference to her stunning beauty, that was. She could not hide a giggle at that, having begun to associate exaggerated compliments with Xanadia, and nodded rather than spoke her agreement, coloring a bit at the same time. As she took the arm so gallantly offered, she thought about asking the Zûtrani woman if she was planning to seduce her, but bit her lip instead. It was not a direction she wanted to move the conversation to, and it would be uncouth of her to do so. Rude. She gladly took the opportunity to talk about her jewelry making and her plans for the Enchanting Shoppe instead.

“Taityl Zûtran, you flatter me too much, but I am so happy that my work has caught your interest. I have been experimenting a little with the various racial styles, drawing from the time I spent in the Mountains, and some rare metals used by the Z'sa'Ză-'Bäa. So far, they have sold really well, and I have also been commissioned some pieces, as you know, by the Oßläße. I also sold to Sum'nër', although this time a more traditional piece. As well as yourself of course.” She had spoken rather fast, excited and happy, and now she took a deep breath. “I am very grateful for your patronage so far, and I have been considering setting up my own shoppe, instead of staying with the Glass Clinic.”

As they walked, she was grateful for the moderate pace; she was not out of shape, but the stairs were starting to become steep, and she was talking at the same time, and quite passionately, about her plans for the Shoppe. “I have been saving as much as I can, and maybe I can afford it, if the sales continue to be good.” She wasn’t quite asking, but her voice had gained a lilt to it, sounding more hopeful than anything else.
Xanadia felt like her flattering was nowhere near enough but that was just her personal opinion. The woman before her was beautiful, smart, and deserving of the praise being heaped on her. Xani was impressed with the work she received from the merchant. Yet, she was not quite swooning at the knees so Xani’s work was not complete. It seemed like her words were having an effect but not quite to the extent that Xani was thinking. In’anna was a talented jewelry maker and proved able to resist some of her natural charms.

“Your own shop, huh? You must tell me about it,” she said. “Where were you thinking about opening this shop? How well do you know the person who is selling the place? Are you thinking large or small? Just jewelry or more than that?”

Xanadia stopped to give In’anna a short rest as they continued towards the temple. She was quite curious about what In’anna had been planning. If the plans were sound, Xanadia would consider investing in the shop herself. Anything to help a beautiful woman out. This was quite the journey they were already undertaking. It was not easy even for those who were in shape. In’anna was new to the city and unused to making the climb to the temple. Xani took in several deep breaths of fresh air to give herself some renewed strength. The woman smirked as another crossed her mind.

“Should I carry you the rest of the way, my lovely maiden?
In’Anna jumped at the chance, of course. She had never dreamed that she would have an opportunity to speak with Xanadia Zûtran for more than a few moments about her shoppe and her plans, and now she had what looked like a candlemark or two of slowly climbing the stairs towards the temple. Not only she could speak passionately about her idea, and how she wanted to slowly mix Z'sa'Ză-'Bäa fashions into the metropolis’ clothing styles, but discuss the choice of venue as well, and maybe a budget? It was a once-in-a-lifetime lucky break!

“Well, it’s going to be called the Enchanting Shoppe, and I’ve already started to build the brand, with my jewelry pieces.” She paused and continued after a moment. "The venue is also very important. Would anyone upper class buy anything from below the Fifth Ring?" , she mused half asking Xanadia and half to herself.

She then looked at the other woman, smiled a little mysteriously and dared to be a little bolder. “The Glass Clinic gave me a good foot in the door for the upper class customers, and while they are of course sophisticated in taste, I also think they are growing rather bored of certain styles, and may appreciate a certain … freshness. Although, I am also concerned about how much of the Z'sa'Ză-'Bäa styles to bring in”, she paused for effect, and then added “they can be rather … revealing clothes. I will have to experiment a little I think, to get just the right mix of novelty and sexy in, but without offending anyone.”

In’Anna was certain that Xanadia would not be upset by a little flirting, not if her behavior so far was any indication. Still, she was being rather too bold with a member of a Greater Family, and her face colored a little even as she withstood the other woman’s gaze as they climbed and talked. Then, of course Xanadia had to go and top everything she had done so far. “Should I carry you the rest of the way, my lovely maiden?

The petite Khah’ was certain she was doing a fair impression of a fish, as her mouth opened and closed a few times without any words coming out. Rather flustered now, she took out a string of cloth and pulled up her hair, and then looked squarely in the dark eyes. “Surely, you jest, Taityl Zûtran. I can climb just fine, it’s just the Zigră being rather unsuitable for the circumstances. Maybe I should model the Z'sa'Ză-'Bäa clothing for you?” Rather happy at her comeback and with a smirk, In’Anna picked up the bottom of the Zigră with one hand and hiked it up and to one side until more than two thirds of her legs were free of the heavy cloth, after which she sauntered to the next steps. “See, Taityl Zûtran, one possibility would be to split the Zigră on the sides, so that walking becomes easier and sexier. I think etiquette allows it, and it wouldn’t offend anyone, right?”
Xanadia’s interest was piqued hearing a little more about the shop. She already knew about the jewelry making from her previous couple of visits to the Glass Clinic. The shop was mainly used for other business but the owner allowed In’anna to display and sell her goods to potential customers. Xanadia listened with great interest about the shop and the details that were offered to her.

It was hard to say what people would or not be willing to purchase. Such was part of the risk in owning a business. However, Xanadia knew that In’anna possessed a great deal of talent and potential when it came to her work. She pressed a finger to her lips as they continued on their path towards the temple. Her mind was brewing with ways in which she could assist her new companion.

“It would require some good advertising and a considerable amount of hard work but I believe it to be possible. People will travel where they wish to acquire that which they seek. You have already started to establish yourself among the greater families within the city of Püertagœ. I would not worry about offending certain people. Not everyone will be pleased with your designs. You should create what makes you happy as long as no one is getting hurt in the process. It would be good to get the opinion, on your clothes, of more than one person but I would be delighted to see you modeling for me. ”

Xanadia knew a little about the fashions of the Z'sa'Ză-'Bäa race. To most civilized people the clothes were too revealing. However, Xanadia found their style alluring. With the right mixture, In’anna could come up with some amazing designs. A devious smirk spread across her lips seeing In’anna hike up the hem of her outfit. Xanadia would lean in close to whisper quietly in her ear.

“I never jest when it comes to beautiful and charming women. As for that outfit, if it is really troubling you I could always remove it. That would only serve to show our worship to the Goddess whose temple we are off to visit. Would you like that?”
In'Anna would have thought it strange the way the easygoing banter had so soon taken sexy undertones, but if she were honest with herself it was not unexpected with Xanadia. Just, that last comment, made so close in her ear, made her giggle a little nervously. In which dance was she getting into, and what would be the outcome of it? In'Anna could not afford to insult a person so powerful as Xanadia Zûtran by leading her on and then rejecting her advances. She bit her lip, hesitating between honesty and politeness. "I would love to model for you, Taityl Zûtran, and I am flattered by your interest in me and my Enchanting Shoppe, but I ..." she stopped. What was she doing? Xanadia was probably talking like that with everyone, and In'Anna was simply foolish. The powerful woman was not accustomed to not getting her way, but so far she had been only playful and not intrusive. In'Anna's response may offend her more than anything else.

She swallowed the planned retort, and racked her brains for something else. "... I ..." The dark Khah' half-breed felt disarmed. She could take care of herself well enough, and she became rather feisty when people were taking her for granted, but Xanadia had caught her entirely by surprise. It was of course out of the question to remove her Zigră. Oh, if she only had worn her Z'sa'Ză-'Bäa clothing underneath! Her face was getting rather red the more she thought about it; not because she was a blushing virgin, but because she got herself caught up in a situation like this. It was out of her own making. "I don't ... think that's a good idea, Taityl Zûtran." She closed her eyes and waited for the reply, wondering if she had just sabotaged her own plans for the shoppe.
Xanadia gave a small nod of her head to acknowledge that she understood. She would be lying if she was not a little disappointed that her offer had been rejected. However, that would only inspire her to try again down the road. Once the two of them had gotten to know each other a little better. There could have been numerous reasons why In’anna had turned her down. For now, she would respect In’anna’s wishes and keep things more professional between them.

“The offer will remain open if you should change your mind.”

Xanadia took a moment to allow the dust to settle. She kept her eyes on the khah’ standing before her. In’anna was still quite lovely even after rejecting her. That would never change in her mind. After a couple of minutes, Xanadia spoke up again.

“We will have to wait until we get somewhere more suitable for you to model for me as long as that offer is still on the table. I hope I have not upset you greatly since I still want to help with your shop. I respect your boundaries and apologize if I have overstepped them. Will you still accept my offer to finance your shop?”
