The area surrounding Paradise Apartments includes:
•
Shirley’s a local bar where most of the East side’s residents go after a long day to socialize and forget.
•
Crazy Beans small coffee shop that tends to your caffeine and sugar needs.
•
Walmart a rather trashy department and grocery store.
•
Aunt Sally’s the liquor/convenient store that shares the lot with Paradise Apartments.
•
The Doghouse strip joint.
•
Pizza Johnny the good ol’, faithful pizza joint that you can always count on for luke warm breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Also, a dime bag if you know the right guys.
•
Woodrow Park a small, old playground and field with a narrow jogging trail around it that then winds through a patch of lush, Florida forest. Sometimes people go missing from there.
•
Suzy Q’s is the quaint, little diner that acts like a second home to a lot of folks on the East side. It’s probably the coziest establishment this side has to offer. If you’re looking for decent food, hot pies, and warm conversation, this is the stop for you. Someone once found a finger tip in their clam chowder, but it didn’t really stop people from going.
•
Public Health Clinic a building built in the 1980's, and not really updated since then. They can handle the basic OD, stab or bullet wound, Alcohol Poisoning, snake bite, and finger/toe reattachment - as long as
you bring the removed digit with you, they don't have spares laying around!
•
Roseyview Trailer Park a collection of mismatched trailers in a variety of different colors and dilapidation stages. Frequently nicknamed ‘Ol’ Rosey’, as in, “did you hear about that knife fight over in Ol’ Rosey last night, where that guy lost an ear?”
