A Volkswagen Beetle with a license plate for Wisconsin drove into the parking lot of Suzy Q's. After a few minutes, the driver of the Beetle exited out of the car and tossed her coat inside the car before shutting the door. She had a slightly slouching posture matching with the dull look on her face. Walking over to the diner, she paused and looked at herself in the windows of the diner.
Lenny ran a hand through her hair and entered the diner. The strong smell of coffee and eggs hit her nose. She went to go sit in a booth and picked up a newspaper along the way. Lenny started to read the newspaper with jaded interest.

Felicita sighed as she strolled into the diner, absentmindedly brushing imagined dirt from her skirt. Her chin was raised, her demeanour uncowed by whatever had dampened her mood, and she glided through the diner as easily as a dance floor, elegant as a gazelle. At her side, Elmo could probably also be compared to an ungulate, but rather more so in a flighty, awkward, unsteady and long-limbed manner.
Searching for an empty seat for them both, Felicita's gaze fell on someone unfamiliar - and so too did Elmo's. He'd started in her direction before Felicita could stop him, and she was left hastening in his wake.
When he reached the young woman's table, Elmo glanced from the newspaper to her face, before greeting her with so much exuberance one might rather imagine him a pot bubbling over with cheeriness.
"I haven't seen you here before, and we know almost everyone here. I like your car. Are you moving here? You should try the waffles. The coffee is nice if you put lots of sugar in it but the milkshakes are good on their own. Did they find him?" His eyes flitted to the newspaper and then back to the woman. He opened his mouth to speak again, but Felicita smoothly interrupted his babbling, gently placing a hand on his arm.
"Sorry to disturb you. Would you mind if we sit with you, please? I can't see any other seats."
((Hi, welcome! I'm so excited to learn more about Lenny - she looks cool!))

Lenny's reading of the newspaper was luckily interrupted by, she assumed, a energetic man. However with the fella's many questions, she found herself confused with a wrinkled nose and tugging on her right earlobe to match. Before the man could speak again, a lady came to her rescue by interrupting the fella.
"I don't mind", Lenny responsed to Felicita. She folded the newspaper and set aside on the table. "I am Eleanor, but most call me Lenny."
