Where are Gemeo's from?
A forested village near the Plains of Goresh. Not actually labeled upon any map, though marked for those Gemeo's by the crystallized bark found on the barrier trees.
Are the Gemeo's not purebred lions?
Yes the Gemeo's are lions. There is nothing about them genetically that claims their make-up is not leo based. This being said they do grow gems upon their heads and there are some that grow few upon chunks of their body.
Do all Gemeo's have gems?
Genetically speaking yes. All Gemeo's have at least one gem that is a crystal or pearled coloring upon the center of their head. There are a few cases where they support more then one gem on their head and body though it is not as common to see any more. There are even fewer cases of Gemeo's born with NO gem's at all.
Are all Gemeos from the same pride?
No actually a good chunk of them are from the pride lead by Rhyden. Though there are two smaller prides on the outer land of the main pride. One lead by Tore and Jame. The outlanders are those corrupted and lead by Ender.
Do all Gemeo's heal in their sleep?
Yes all Gemoe's have the ability to heal even what some deem mortal wounds while asleep. When they fall into a deep sleep their subconscious takes over. They will stay asleep until their body is fully healed. It ranges from hours to days for each Gemeo's healing process and rate is different.
Do all Gemeo's gem's absorb color?
All Gemeo's have the ability to touch non-living objects and absorb the color from it. Which leaves the said object to be dilute or gray in color. Their gems retain this color and they are able to pick and choose which gem on their body if they have more then one becomes colored. Their gems can hold the color for hours if not years. Until they place that said color into another object or being.
So Gemeo's can put color into other things?
Yes once a Gemeo takes the color from something. They can retain it in their gem or gems. This being said once they desire to replace or get rid of that color. They must put it back into an object, putting it back though does not mean it is non-living. They can change peoples fur, hair and skin colors as well as flower petals, fabrics and much more. Unlike their gems though the color they put back will only last a few days before fading for most beings do not have gems to retain and control the color.
What are the differences between the Myrborn and Soleborn?
Both classes are in the pride. In truth the pride's newer generation doesn't even catagory themselves this way. Though older and elder ones may and still do. Myrborn are rumored to be those born from the first of their kind. With the abilities to have multiple gems over their body. Where as Soleborn as you guessed it are those born with only one upon their forehead. There is no actual class difference between their pride it is just rumored that those of Myrborn are typically mated off to those that work directly under their leader or are tried to be anyways.
Can Gemeo's reproduce with anyone?
Actually yes Gemeo's can reproduce with any mammal. Though offspring with someone that is not feline base will most likely be sterile genetically. As for stones Gemeo's can only reproduce stones with other Gemeo's or males that also grow stones. Even then it is extremely rare for a Gemeo to pass their stones along to their offspring with a partner that is not Gemeo.Offspring will be rolled by the creator if with other Gemeo. Offspring will be rolled by creator if with another mammal that is gem based. Offspring with any other mammals(without gems) will need approval by creator though most likely are allowed.
Do Gemeo's have a heat?
Like all lions they do have a heat. Typically in the spring though it may vary by a few weeks to a few months. They go into a heat that last only six days with day three and four being considered their most fertile. Heats typically happen once a year if not every two years.
