During the day Aeon donned a mask and kept the hood on his cloak up. Under normal circumstances he would've slept during the day, but the construction nearby prevented any hopes of that.
Aeon walked out the back door of his workshop to a small patio area where he sold his wares. He was only well known by certain people, but those that dealt business with him always ended up satisfied in some manner or way. Vapor gazed out the window from inside the workshop, always on the watch for anyone suspicious.
"You got the cash we got the stash!" Aeon called out, trying to entice people to at least look at what he had to sell. He knew it was risky just announcing his location, but he needed to make ends meet somehow.
Despite the risks, he did have some ways to make him less noticed by competitors, he knew how to just look away from any Revenants he saw, in hopes that they wouldn't suspect him of being a competitor in this contest of fate. That was his main goal, avoiding confrontation, although he always held his dagger with him in the off chance that he was attacked.

Wes was in a bad mood, kicking various things as he strolled down the alleyways with his partner, Vince, lumbering behind him as they strolled down the streets. Wes faintly heard the call, trying to figure out what it was exactly.
Approaching closer Vince nudged Wes, silently indicating that their was another competitor somewhere nearby. Potentially someone else to try and attack, or someone waiting to ambush others, either way it was good to know.
The pair turned the corner to see a boy in a cloak and mask trying to sell things, he looked young, but alone. In any normal circumstances they would walk by and drop a few bucks out of pity, but something seemed off, or at least Vince thought something was off and Wes was already eyeing what was being sold.

A walk always did do wonders for the superstar; that is, when you avoid the people pestering you about autographs, the media, or just plain old stalkers. Thankfully, she was covered up enough to not draw much attention to herself; a fedora, trench coat, and sunglasses did many wonders if you wanted to go around unseen.
After a bit into her stroll, she heard a voice from nearby. It was one of a younger boy, and the words he had said had amused her a bit. What a cheap slogan. Though, it must have worked, because she found herself rounding the corner and going towards the young man in the cloak and mask. Calista gave the man she passed a brief glance before moving on, pretending to ignore the obvious Revenant next to him. She paused in front of the young boy, giving a little wave.
"And what exactly is the stash you have, young man?" She inquired, curious to see how he would react.

Vapor's ears had perked at the sense of another Revenant, perhaps maybe more than one. Regardless he slipped away from the window, positioning himself just within earshot, but still out of sight, aware of the numerous approaching strangers.
"Oh! I've got just about anything!" Aeon replied in his normal chipper self. There were clocks, hourglasses, and various knick knacks as well, along with a sword and shield hanging behind him. "And if you don't see it here, I'm sure I can arrange something and get a hold of it in as few as 5 days."
He gave a wayward glance towards the man who was approaching, seeing the Revenant out of the corner of his eye before looking back at the woman.

Calista had caught a glimpse of something near the window of the building, though she ultimately ignored it. Instead, she hummed, scanning the items behind the young man. The superstar always had an eye for these sorts of things, and she was fairly impressed by this young man's craftsmanship. Maybe she could support him somehow.... She had brought quite a bit of money along with her in case she wanted to go shopping.
"....How much is it for all of this here?" She asked, gesturing to all of the knick knacks and plethora of items behind him.

He wasn't quite sure how to respond to the stranger's generosity, Aeon was ecstatic sure, but was curious as to why the stranger was so friendly.
"All of it? I uh... I don't know... it's $550 for the sword and shield," He responded, gesturing to it, "As for everything else... It's $15 for the hourglasses... $10 for the ornaments... Ah what the heck, I'll sell it all for 1 grand, if you have the cash that is..." There was quite a wide variety of items, no clocks or knick knacks being the same as the last.
Vapor stood by the doorway in silence, tail swishing as he heard the offer, glancing at some other items that were in the workshop and not on display.

Wes listened in, leaning on the wall opposite of Aeon, eavesdropping with Vince. Wes had been eyeing the sword, wondering if the woman would be able to pay for all of it.
"Little man, lot of work," Vince muttered to himself, trying to not draw any attention, "Competitor possibly, but not that old. Still strong, potential resource for weapons." Vince finished, scratching his antlers against the wall, awaiting for the woman's business to be done with.

A brow raised upon hearing the price. "You have got to be joking. Only one grand? You should really be charging more. But I digress. You have a really good thing going for you, young man." She reached into her pocket, taking out her wallet, fishing for the ten hundred dollar bills. Eventually, she counted all of them, offering the money over to him.
"Here you are. Now I suppose you don't have a big bag for all of this, now don't you?" Calista gave a smirk.

Aeon graciously took the money giving a bow, he wasn't about to decline the payment, but was overall shocked that she had that much cash on her. "Th-Thank you!"
He reached into his cloak, opening his messenger bag, pulling out several plastic bags, starting to carefully place the items in them.
"I'm just surprised is all. Not everyday someone just drops a grand for these things I make. Can i ask why you, of all people, went out of your way to visit this little run down place? Not that your business isn't appreciated, im just curious is all." He finished packing the various knick knacks, holding out a few plastic bags.

Calista accepted the bags, shifting her grip on them slightly. "Oh, well, if you have to know...." She paused, thinking about it for a moment or two. "If I see something I like, something that has potential, I support it. Not only that, I rather like making connections with people. You never know when it might come in handy." Then she lowered her sunglasses, so he could see her eyes.
"Besides, you can never have too many friends around." She winked, and raised her sunglasses once more. "....And I think I'll come back here and become a regular. With that being said, what's your name, young man?"

Aeon let out a laugh, "Aeon Aurora! But you can just call me Aeon." He smiled, taking off the mask, that covered only his eyes, to show his bright golden-yellow eyes, winking at her with a smile before putting the mask back on.
"In all honesty this is my passion, my job, and my way of getting by in the world. I'm just glad to be appreciated by some people."

Wes only scoffed at hearing the two converse. He had always lived on his own, Vince was the only form of a friend he had. Not that they considered each other that, they acted as nothing more than a forced pair of rogues, fighting for a wish.
"The only kinds of people who carry around that kind of cash are the ones asking to get mugged." Wes spoke to the woman. "I don't suppose you are actually interested in him, only the profit he could bring in." Wes gave off an aggravating sense, he never did like rich people, especially those who gave out cash like it was nothing.

She returned the smile with one of her own. "Aeon Aurora.... I like the sound of that." She uttered before nodding at his words. "Well, I'm glad to be the one who appreciates it. If you put your heart and soul into what you love, then you're sure to get by just fine."
Then, extending a free hand towards him, she added, "And it's good to meet you. Just call me Callie."
But she paused, and glanced to where she had heard the other voice. "....And you know, you don't have to be rude."

Aeon rolled his eyes at the stranger against the wall before shaking Callie's hand. "Don't mind him, I'm guessing he's just looking for trouble, but its a pleasure to meet you as well Callie. I'm sorry about him, this location brings all sorts of characters, including some... undesirable ones..."
He gave the Revanant next to the man another quick glance, studying the man next to it as well. "Now are you going to just loiter around and cause a ruckus, or buy something?" Aeon called out to the man.

"Not to worry. I know all about.... 'undesirable characters'." Calista released Aeon's hand. Her primary focus was the man leaning against the wall behind him. Though she could freely study the Revenant next to him with her obscured eyes thanks to her sunglasses.
She waited around to see the exchange between Aeon and the stranger.

Wes gave a shrug, "Wouldn't be the first time I've been called 'undesireable,' but no matter. As for my business, that depends, got any weapons? Preferably somethin' made of silver... No reason why, just like the look of the metal, accents nicely with a gold finish, got anything like that Aeon?" He had obviously overheard them exchange names.
Vince let out something of a snarl at Wes' mention of silver, knowing that Wes was lying about his reason for that particular metal.

"Uh... I suppose I might have one or two in my workshop... I would have to go and... Uh check if that's alright with you." Aeon clearly wasn't enjoying the presence of the stranger, giving a quick glance to Callie before backing up towards the doorway to his workshop. "If you wouldn't mind I will only be a moment..."
Vapor overheard the snarl, knowing that it came from another Revenant, backing away from the door before it opened and he was seen. If he had been seen, Vapor knew he would be blowing Aeon's cover, which could lead to some unnecessary conflicts among the crowd outside.

Calista returned the glance that Aeon had given her. For a moment, she looked to the stranger and contemplated leaving them alone. That snarl that came from the man's Revenant had put her on edge slightly.
But she leaned against the wall next to the door, pulling out her phone, making a call. She put the phone to her ear and began talking quietly.

Vince gave a glance as the woman pulled out her phone. "Competition makes small man seem easy target, maybe we take him out and raid his shop." Vince said suggestively.
Wes shot Vince a glance, that seemed to read 'No, not here, not now.' "Fine, just hurry up okay? I don't got all day." Wes said, his temper starting to get to him. "And don't try any funny business kid, I've got quite a but of frustration built up that I might want to take out on ya if you make a wrong move."
He tapped his foot, glancing at the woman who was on the phone. Great, he thought, She's probably got a close eye on us... Regardless whether she's part of the contest or not I can't make a scene... not now at least.

While she talked, Calista eyed the man and his Revenant like a hawk. She herself never took Hades out during the day, because she would never get to go around freely. Honestly, she would rather just not actively participate in the contest.
Though, killing a kid in cold blood wasn't something she wasn't going to allow them to do. Never. Calista decided that she would keep an eye on Aeon for now, in case these guys decided to make any moves for him.
