Despite the evidence, many assume them to be nothing more than myth and legend, but the caves bearing these distinctive, pre-historic markings, are being/have been excavated in both the america's and within Europe

The beschädigt are a race of demonically influenced beasts. They are able to develop weaknesses and mutations like any other born creature. But every beschädigt has a in born weakness to Holy or devout objects.

But no need to worry for the long run. Beschädigt, when killed have a sort of Respawn area, a alter or place in which their residence is tethered, when killed they reform their body and soul in this certain area. Though this can leave them quite weak for a while being that the experience is quite..... Harrowing so seeking death for a beschädigt is not recommended.

A Beschädigt's heart is extremely unique, consisting of a 8 valve system that pumps blood through the body at a constant rate. This enables the Beschädigt to heal at a enhanced rate, and also makes a strange noise to anyone listening to a Beschädigt's heartbeat. As rather than the usual thudding it is more like a constant rumble, or purr like noise as the extra valves make a constant and powerful blood flow system.

Due to a Beschädigt's unique physiology mutations are a high possibility among the race. Anything from simple albinism to 'healing deterioration syndrome' which is a disease that impairs the Beschädigt's natural born healing ability, enabling heavy scarring and everlasting wounds.

Beschädigt come in a variety of shapes, and even different sizes, but are most noticed for their unique heart and bone like tail. A Beschädigt can have a multitude of unique features, from goat hooves to lion heads, as they are distant cousins of the chimera. So features can be varied by a wide margin, but every recorded Beschädigt has the signature bone plated tail and eight valve heart system within their veins.

There are three current types of beschädigt, The dom, or born beschädigt. Children of the first. She who came onto this world before all others, the infiltrator. Then there are the sub, or summoned beschädigt. Called forth by the collected souls of either the first or other beschädigt, though deals made with mortals. The sub can also have children of their own with non-beschädigt these are the third type, the Hybrid beschädigt, or Halflings.

Any dom or sub of beschädigt are able to take souls from deals with mortals and use them in summoning fellow sub species. The process for doing so can be a bit complicated though.
