Let's revive this group too!

Jae was stoaked about going camping with her friends so she had to text a few in their inactive group chat they all had going long ago. She had set up already way out from Midnight, they could go hiking in the area, swim in the lake and everything. The place was beautiful. The only thing not fixed currently? The massive tent big enough to support everyone.. The girl had left instructions at the bar with "Nobody needs those!" Annd now she couldn't figure out what went where. She did NOT wanna talk about it.

Pink colored converse kicked the tent parts with a huff, blue shorts with a white crop hid her form. A pretty pink bow in her hair to match her shoes and some thick frames pink sunglasses were on her silver heart locket necklace.. The hand that sported that old, falling apart, black and red bracelet her mother made went to her hip as she stared at the mess in front of her. "Maybe..." Jae murmured to herself, "That big piece will fit.. there??"
Kiri showed up, looking at her text one more time that Donnie sent her when inviting her to come along with their group. She had agreed, because their mutual friend Ozzy was a danger to himself, and she was told he'd probably be there as well. She walked up to find Jae struggling with the tent and crossed her arms in amusement, just observing for now if the smaller femme hadn't noticed her arrival. "Maaaybe, you need instructions," the vampire finally grinned playfully, "Or are you one of those 'nobody got time fo that' types? I dated one of those types once, it wasn't always pretty.."

"Have you tried turning it off and back on again?" she giggled spitefully, squishing up her nose goofily as she finally moved closer to get a better look. "Hmmm... The heck kind of tent is this? It's got so many pieces!" she protested. Kiri Valentine was dressed in a loose white cotton tank beneath a black leather jacket with tattered denim cutoff shorts. On her legs beneath said shorts were some sheer tights, to keep the bugs bites away. On her feet was a pair of black leather anklet boots. Raven colored hair fell to mid-back in loose natural curls.

Painted nails raked through said curls and she chewed on her cherry colored bottom lip in thought, "I'll text Donnie, see if he knows anything 'bout tents. Where are the instructions anyway?" She didn't see them anywhere.
Jae hadn't noticed her, yet. It was when Kiri had spoken up that she was given an innocent little smile. "I didn't think it'd be THIS hard.. It's not in the movies!" Yes.. because movies are realistic Jae... She couldn't help but laugh at the turning it off and back on comment. If only it was that easy! "It's a uh... massive family one." She would've gave the name of exact one, but she forgot it in all honesty. She was too excited to get out here and 'have the greatest time!' Even though.. right now, it wasn't as great. Yet. To the texting Donnie she had hope again, "Maybe!" Where are the instructions anyway? Big grin was given, "They uh... are on the bar.. at Midnight."

The girl had invited Cosmo to go with them. Why? She figured maybe they could get him to open up more or be at least more comfortable with them. He seemed in a shell when they did meet. Now... if only he'll actually show up and join the crazy group. Ozzy was a bit... hyped when they first met. We can all hope everyone's energy didn't scare the poor guy!
"Movies shmoovies. Move over," another voice interjected as Donnie made his own appearance, fashionably late. "Mhmm, text Donnie, do it," he cackled as he gently slid by Kiri, mahogany gaze locking with grey for a second or two. He was standing over the tent now, dark eyes flicking from one piece to another, back and forth. He started rolling the sleeves up of his black and white plaid shirt, leaving them at his elbows and rubbing his hands together as the gears in his head spun circles and drew up blueprints for this thing. "Stand back," he waved dismissively at Jae, playfully shoving her to the side a bit with a laugh. Then? The darkling did his thing. Donnie worked fast, snapping this piece to that, twisting some, tying others. Click.. Click.. "Boom," he proclaimed proudly once it was completed, "Tent is set. No instructions needed. Next?" Show off. He glanced at Kiri again with another warm smile, "Glad you could make it. I figured it'd be a fun excuse to hang out and get to know some of the rest of my friends. Plus, you're cool, and fun company." Was that a hint of a blush? Yeah, but it faded quickly and he glanced at Jae with a victorious sort of expression, "Was a job for a man, no hard feelings." The spiteful grin on his features told them both he was just teasing, surely. Donnie knew the both of them were awesome in their own way.
Como stared at his phone taking deep breaths, thinking heavily on what Jaelyn had told him a few days after seeing him bail Pulse. Poor guy was fighting thoughts when he decided what the heck. If he does, he's gonna try and blend in with the others. Sporting black with that famous collar of his. Meet them to go camping, hiking and swimming. Seemed easy enough. Right?

He got there in time to see Kiri, Jae and Donnie had made it already. Annnd there was a comment about how it was a man's job. "I guess I've made it in time." In time to miss Donnie showing off and the girls clueless, yes. He said nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. Too much black apparently.. There was no fitting in with these people! Sheesh! That face was red again however, why? They also always seemed to look so attractive and pretty.
"The movies?" Kiri snickered, about to comment when Donnie beat her to it. Move over? Rude. She gasped as he slid by her, the lock of their eyes sending chills down her spine for reasons she wasn't going to admit to herself. It wasn't even anything to do with Donnie himself at this point, noooope. It was the color, the familiarity of it, leaving her a little winded. She shook it off quickly however, laughing when Donnie practically 'dismissed' Jae and shoved. "OMG. ROOD," she shook her head, covering the smile on her features with a dainty hand, adding playfully, "GET HIM JAE!" And then he'd fixed the tent? Show off indeed! Little butthead. She was impressed, yes, but she wasn't about to show it. Nope. No way. She matched his smile with a warm one of her own however when addressed and nodded, "I figured a little fresh air would be nice. Thanks for the invite. Plus, you and I both know that if Ozzy does show up, he needs constant supervision to keep him out of trouble so.." She noticed that little blush and gulped slightly. NOPE. Nada. Can't let herself catch feelings for Donnie either. She was a single Pringle and needed to stay that way, flying solo, forever solo.

JOB FOR A MAN?? Is THAT what he just said??? "EXCUSE YOU!" her jaw dropped, the grin on his face doing nothing but adding gasoline to the fire, "Listen here Donnie! Another crack like that and I'll have to kick your- Ohhh it's you! Hello again." She had cut off to say hello to Cosmo, "You did. We just finished setting up the tent. Welcome to the pow-wow." She would suddenly reach and grab Donnie by the side of the shirt and yank him into her, shoving her fist into his ribcage roughly when he was close enough. "Say something like that again and I'll hit you harder," she warned with a far too sweet smile and a bat of her eyelashes. That wasn't nearly as violent as it could have been!
Jae nearly jumped when Donnie showed up without them noticing. "What the heck dude!?" She'd gasp loudly. When waved at to move and shoved she huffed "WHAT SHE SAID!" So rude.. Once completed? She murmured mockery under her breath, "Face it D, you just wanted an excuse to to SEE HER. Not her meet your friends." Someone was salty about the tent.. Seafoam widened and she grabbed a nearby stick, "I'll show you man's job!" She knew he was joking, playful banter like always. Soon as she lifted it Cosmo showed and Jae gave a innocent smile his way, dropping said stick back down. Kiri and her both was getting ready to tear into him from looks of it. GET HIM GIRL!! "Hey there!" This was going to be a lot of fun, "You're just in time! We've not started any of the fun stuff yet." Jae had good hearing and could understand what was said so! She smiled brightly at Kiri and stuck her tongue out at Donnie before motioning Cosmo to join them, "Come meet everyone! Others may or may not show, they were warned though!" Player was debating who else could bring to the mix if Ozzy did show actually. :O

If Cosmo joined them she'd point to Kiri, "That's Kiri, you've met before." Then small finger landed on Donnie, "That is Donnie. He's a piece of crap, but it's okay! We love him anyway." A laugh followed, "I'm sure you'll fit right in with us after you get comfortable!" Annnd she was semi-hyped, nooot a good sign to back her claims!
"Rude shmude," he cackled. He was showing off, that was all, trying to look tough in front of Kiri, but he wasn't going to admit that out loud. "Shhhh!" Donnie flailed at Jae when she accused him of JUST wanting to see Kiri, "Nuh uh! S-She's fun company! I knew you guys would all like her!" Salty caused him to stutter, so she could take that as a small victory; as in TINY, ant sized victory. "Right, Ozzy can be a handful sometimes for sure. He's a good guy though," he laughed, adding, "Just a little wild, but what wolf isn't?" Saved by the Cosmo! He grinned when Kiri cut off and when Jae dropped the stick, thinking he was in the clear. He was not. Kiri's hand yanking him closer had his face turning blood red for all of a millisecond before she shoved her fist into his ribs. A painful grunt left him and a soft cough as she'd winded him. "Noted," he wheezed before regaining himself. That would be the start of a bruise probably, with the way that Kiri throws punches. Her sweet tone had his heart skip a moment, but he recovered and scowled at her with a mocking, "I'll hit yoo harderer." He was asking for it, and he knew that.

"Heya," he waved when she said his name, gasping at the next part, "Am not!" Hands were shoved into his pockets, stinging ribs ignored for now, "Depends, how crazy is he? We wrote the book on insane." Goofy wink was given to the newbie, "But we're fun though, you'll see."
((Rolling for something for my next post. Don't mind me.))
rolled 1d2 and got a natural 1.
Cosmo blinked at Kiri "pow-wow..?" He obviously didn't go out much. Oh well! He smiled when told he'd not missed any fun stuff. Just the tent. "O-Others? O-Okay.." He made his way over and took their names to mental note. "Kiri and Donnie.." A wave was given back to Donnie, how crazy is he? Cosmo bit his lip holding back a few comments. They were NOT that close to hear any of it. Annd there was a wink, his face heated and those hands played with that chain hanging from his neck. It was when he spotted a familiar sign he thought up a subject to get the redness to leave. "I-I know where a bridge is here. When I was younger, my sister and I used to play on it."

"It's probably unstable now or falling apart." There's something to add to the danger of their little adventure later. To the we're fun part? A simple nod would be given to show he'd watch and see. Please don't be the death of him... these seemed like a dangerous combination of personalities.
She couldn't help but laugh when Jae accused Donnie and caused him to stutter. "Whaaat? Little ol' me?" she cooed spitefully, snickering. "Oh Donnie, why didn't you say so?" she teased sweetly, "Such a flattering thought that is!" Her tone shifted back to normal briefly after with a laugh, joking aside, "Butthole." It was said fondly, at least. She gasped when Donnie mocked her, swatting his shoulder hard with another pointed scowl, "Behave." She suddenly burst into cackles at a thought that hit her. 'Sorry Chaos, I killed your son.' She wouldn't, but the idea had her rather amused. '..how crazy is he? We wrote the book on insane.' Donnie didn't know it, but those words slammed another memory down on her. Hard.

"Red! What were you thinking?? You could have been killed! You're crazy!!" she squealed as she stared wide-eyed at the hybrid of a man that had just won a match by the skin of his teeth. The axe wielder crossed the distance between them, hand sliding into her hair and fingers entangling and gripping tightly, tugging enough so that she was looking up at him. "Maybe.. But admit it.. The best people are..." he said with a smirk, a throaty growl laced against his words dangerously. She stared into black orbs helplessly for all of two seconds before his lips had crashed roughly into her own, stealing her breath and igniting fire in her veins.

She gasped loudly, reaching and gripping the nearest arm, be it Donnie or Jae's. Her head spun, her cheeks burned, and she teetered a little. Talk about a heck of a flashback... "S-Sorry..." she apologized for the sudden grip on whomever, "I-It's muggy. I must have gotten too heated when walking out here.. I just need to sit down for a moment is all. It'll pass." Would it? She wrapped her arms around her torso as one would do when cold to hide the shaking of her hands. Knuckles were turning white from her grip of her own jacket, but it was fiiiiine. She cleared her throat roughly, "S-So what was your name again sweetie? I didn't catch it." Words were aimed at Cosmo. When he granted them a different subject, she was thankful, "A bridge? Should we go check it out? Give me just a minute and I should be good to go again." Perhaps a little danger wouldn't hurt. You could have been killed! She shut her eyes tight, steadying her breathing. Stupid Red, stupid memories. Drinking that potion years back was stupid. This was NOT something she was warned about!!
Map, check.. compass, check.. Hiking boots, watch, binoculars, journal, pens, bag, extra tee.. All check. Kam was all ready to go. The girl was in blue jeans and a black plaid shirt for now. The dark green over vest would be for warmth at night- IF needed. You could never be too prepared.. Heck, she even had one of her specialty energy bars that had blood made into it for her thirst and even a scarf was being worn. Donnie was lucky, because Kam wasn't there yet and the way he worded the wolves thing earlier would've earned a hit or two!

The wolf arrived just in time to see Kiri explaining she must how gotten too hot. Poor girl.. She's didn't know her enough to know she was lying or anything. Yet. "WOOO HIKING!" She'd shout at the group overly excited. The girl loved nature a bit too much, and they'd find that out later. Especially if she seen an interesting looking snake or other specimen. Player would possibly be playing her switch in between posts and tending to a wild child BUT we can only hope she's able to make up for lack of posting quality as the night continues forth! HERE WE GO!! Let the fun and funny moments begin! Not to mention a possible roller coaster for Kiri when memories slam hard on her.
His ears were burning like mad! Wonder WHY??!!! Lookin at YOU, Kiri and Donnie. Just a 'little' wild? No comment. He sniffed the air, catching Donnie's scent and starting in that direction. He popped in about the time that Cosmo said 'others?' "The otherrrrrrrrrs," he said eerily, right behind the poor guy, "Oooooowooowooo~" A playful pat to the back was given if he wasn't punched in the face for potentially scaring him. He then noticed Kiri teeter and gasped when she did, clearing the distance way too fast for a regular human. That stunt put him closest in a heartbeat, so his arm was the one she ultimately ended up grabbing in the end. "Don't apologize," he huffed. Typical Kiri. "Are you okay?" he pressed. Muggy? "Bullshit.." he breathed, not buying it, but helped her to sit regardless. Blue eyes stared at her, narrowing when he noticed the way her knuckles were turning white. "If you're too hot, ditch the jacket," he offered, rather than calling her out for something that usually never affected her. She was a vampire, the heat never seemed to matter in the past, nor did the cold. Something was definitely wrong, but he didn't want to say anything in front of the new face. For all he knew, Cosmo was just a normal human. He frowned when the woman said to give her just a minute. He plopped down next to her lazily and shoved a big bright smile in the direction of the others, "I second giving it just a sec. That hike up here was a doozy huh? PHEW." He eyed Kiri again briefly when she shut her eyes, then glancing to Donnie, his gaze saying a bajillion things. D would know, they were usually on the same page.

"GAWD KAM, you're so LOUD," he pointed at the other wolf playfully, "Who even invited you??" He was teasing, that grin on his face spiteful. "Maybe Donnie will get lucky and CAZPER will show up," he teased his friend next. He had no idea that Donnie and Caz weren't a thing, but he DID know that Caz thought Donnie was cute, hence the reason for his accusation. "Welcome to our crew Pinky," he beamed happily at Cosmo, "We'll deffo check out that bridge of yours in a minute. RIGHT KAM?" He threw a random stick at her foot to try and get a rise from the girl. Eyes flicked to Jae and he dramatically winked at her, "Ey bb, how it do? Can't forget to say hello to my Jae Bug."
