Samuel leaned over the pew and stared at the seated persons for a long silent shocking moment. "God created everything, right?" The silence that fell as the people settled in for their seats was almost shocking. As if they were hanging on his words and seemed repulsed by his very words. Samuel cleared his throat, shifting on the pew as compassionate blue eyes looked out amongst the crowds of people, and spotted Menos once more. "Mercy triumphs over judgment. Bible says those two things. Today, we're going over them in a new light. If you don't like the message I preach today..." A loud shocking silence was felt once more as you could almost feel the tension building. "Then you can walk out and not look back, because you who call yourselves Christian, aren't living it biblically." the way he said it fearlessly as he gazed back with some pointed hateful glares sent his way, had Samuel smiling and shrugging. "Gods love extends to all. Gods mercy, extends to all. It isn't OUR place to say, whether if you're a human or a vampire. Whether you're a werewolf or a fallen angel....whether you're saved or not. It is not our right, to judge. That's not our position. And I think some people, forget that they don't serve a Savior whose going to save you when times get rough and leave you alone when times are good. Because guess what, he doesn't. He will not save you if all you do is lean on him when you need him. That's not how this works." Flatly stated. Those who had glared were standing up, leaving. Half the congregation, but Samuel kept on. Opening the bible. "Genesis 1:1-2" The screen flickered to the verse. "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." Only glancing up as the door opened and closed a couple of times. Half of the congregation, clearly disgusted and gone. But Samuel smiled and kept on. "Genesis 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good." Looking up, he could see the people seemingly clicking it together. "God created them." Staring at all the people who were gazing at him with a clearly listening look. "God created them, and he made them. It's not our right to say, you are damned. Is it? We are not the judge. Not the jury. We are just as pathetic as those people out there who don't believe." Pointing a finger out to the door as he stared every single one slowly with those piercing bright blue eyes. They soon enough shifted back to the book on the pew. "So don't you for one second forget that Church. What is our mission? To show the love of Christ out there, right? To reach to the oppressed, and make them feel welcomed. That is why I sought the Hostel. To feed the hungry, give to the poor. If a man is righteous and does what is just and right. Does not oppress anyone, but restores to the debtor his pledge, commits no robbery, gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with a garment, does not lend at interest or take any profit, withholds his hand from injustice, executes true justice between man and man, walks in my statutes, and keeps my rules by acting faithfully he is righteous; he shall surely live, declares the Lord God. Ezekiel 18."
"So you stayed. You know what this means. We will serve both." "We will love both. And we will not call them Beasts, but people. Because that is what they are. People. Same crawling, desperate people who are seeking to find a happiness in this miserable wretched world we live in. Is it not our calling to give them hope for a better life? A love that they can't even fathom filling them whole? Was that not our calling this entire time!?" "God has called you all to a higher purpose. You're suffering and trust me church...after today you'll be suffering more. But it's for his purpose! Is it not worth fighting for to see others come alive through the God you already know and serve!?" Wake up! What is out there that has been spreading all this time? Hate. Anger. Deceived. Church, we are in a battle. Put on your armor! Put on your helmet. Know the Word so you can strike true against Satan.""Do not let him decieve you and fill your mind with thoughts that they don't belong. Remember who the Creator is, and show them who he is through your actions Church."
