The Good Captain was seen amongst several others picking up after the burning masses of buildings and white house had burned down. Speculations are still widely varying on who did this and why. A lot of buildings that Jean Lazares owned were attacked, and Jean even speculates that it is the USRA group that has done this.
Wanting to take a deeper look into recent events, I sat to talk to Adam Lazares
The video switches to what seems to be a live feed with Adam Lazares sitting across from her in a comfy chair. She pulls out a microphone and places it before him after she asks.
"Mr. Lazares, is it true that the videos that everyone had seen of you was simply fabricated by technology?"
"Well, it's true that yes, it was made up. I couldn't possibly do magic if I'm human, which I am. So clearly, someone made this ridiculous video about me during an actual scene and tried to cover it up with really good almost seamless clipping into the video that adds onto the effect of it. I had my best tech guys look at it, and they were hardly able to spot it. But they did eventually."
"I see. That brings me to my next question, is MPD anywhere closer to finding the suspects who did this to our beloved Ward Six City? Do you truly think your father is right when he claims USRA has a hand in this?"
"We're still working on it actually. Most evidence has been burned away, and although it looks like on the majority of fires, a building error.....well. We are double checking with WFD to make absolutely sure that is the case. The Captain, Brad, might be able to tell you more then I could on that. But as for USRA...we have yet to see any criminal activity with that radical group. From my experience in the force, criminals often build from small things to major things. If USRA does have a hand in this, it's someone who recently joined and has a history of violence. Of which, MPD is keeping an eye out for. But most members of USRA does not have criminal records and thus if evidence disagrees with my dad, despite how I love him, I think I'm gonna have to follow the evidence."
The reporter smiles as the crowd awws briefly. "Mr. Lazares, how do you think that forest healed so quickly?"
"Well, it's simple really. Unity. Magic users helped out of course with the plant life, but as far as the other items? People just worked together on getting that park put back together in a day. And it was good to me, to see the supernatural and humans working together to better what a mess that some war has caused."
"Is there anything else you can think to add to the citizens of Ward Six to let them know that Justice will be given to them rightfully?"
"I think they already know that justice will be found, eventually."
"Thank you for your time."

The video switches back to the live reporter.
"You heard it first on DC News! As Adam Lazares briefly mentioned, people have come together to work and help rebuild the park and other buildings that were burned down. A anoymous 30k donation was given to Samuel Leo's people and the church handed it over to their construction company. Although he faces trial, it's quite clear that the church? Hasn't given up despite their pastor being charged with such scandalous things. At least 50 members are working towards the goal of rebuilding that church ,claiming that it's a second home. It seems that despite the tragedies befalling Ward Six....people are still coming together, as Adam Lazares always expressed wanting. Let's hope our Captain is put in a much better "lighting" after these issues we've had."
