      18.) Ejection & Banishment
      19.) ADDITIONAL NOTE AND DISCLAIMER

    Har'luth is a strict (IC) or in character continuity with an adult environment. As such, there are the following rules to follow;

    1.) Age; Character and Feral
Characters, ICly, can be of any age. You may be asked to include a tag to clarify character age.

    2.) OOC Age
Since we do allow violent and sexual themes, we require that players are at least 16+.

    3.) Alts
We allow up to five alts per player to be accepted in the dream. Only two alts may be played at a time by said player and must continue to fit the requirements of the dream.

    4.) OOC Roleplay
OOC roleplay is not allowed. OOC roleplay from Har'luth's perspective, is defined as your personal actions and words, rather than the actions of your character. It isn't considered serious roleplay, or roleplaying your character in Har'luth. It can even be considered as 'joke' roleplaying, where your intent is not to seriously roleplay but to disrupt those around you.
On a side note, abusing the lead-follow command (multiple people, blocking aisles) is disruptive and not allowed.

    5.) God-moding
God-moding is highly frowned upon and not permitted when caught. It reflects a poor role player and word does travel fast when a character is too super-powered or pushing weight that they may not have. In Official Har'luth Arena Matches the Dice-System is used to avoid any and all God-Moding. However, in staged performances, such as for planned weekly role-plays, exceptions are made since the victor is predetermined and preparation posts are not necessary.

    6.) RP, the Environment, Technology
    No actions taken to harm TGT's environment are considered valid. Please keep in mind the position of your character and allowances;
-Weapons/escaping/lighting things on fire/mass destruction. Any harm to the RP environment, especially on mass has to be approved by OOC Staff. Any actions taken to do vandalism or mass destruction will be ignored and reversed.
Har'luth is a low-technology dream, it is fantasy-medieval based. Modern technology simply does not exist whatsoever. This means that no modern technology (modern guns, laptops, phones - if you aren't sure ask) exist. This doesn't mean we ban all modern characters but introducing modern items in a public setting (Main Hall, Bar, Stage to name a few) in any main IC areas is disruptive and you will be asked to cease the modern RP and take it out of sight. Please keep it to private RPs and in the private rooms.

    7.) OOC
Out of Character is not allowed and is defined as any post that is not seen as an valid RP post. There is an *OOC room for this purpose (say *ooc to get there). All OOC when in an IC area is to be kept to whispers. If the rp involves a group, it is generally suggested to try to avoid OOC by whispering each as needed. If you are found to be OOCing in in-Character areas, you may be warned, ejected, and eventually banished.

8.) Spam / Abuse of Furcadia Commands
Spam is not allowed. Should you be found to be spamming, you will most likely be banned/banished once the issue can be addressed. Spam may be termed as links or words that are out of character, most often repetitive and also meant to cause trouble or conflict within the dream. Spam may also be seen as one line posts. Please review the 'Line Limit' rule.
Abusing the cookie command or any description items is a no-no. We ask that you use of the make-secret command when giving cookies, and when handing out individual items such as pillows/balloons/muffins to take it to the OOC Room as to not spam the screen. Alternatively, using your digo in such a way as to be disruptive (abusing the 'flame' command on the phoenix) or abusing the lead/follow is not acceptable. Blocking aisles are making areas unwalkable is not allowed. If staff see you abusing these things they will ask you to stop. You may be moved to the Idle Pit if you do not comply fast enough, or if you continue to ignore staff warnings you may be ejected or banished.

    9.) Line Limit
Being that Har'luth is a strict role play environment, we look to uphold a level of effort and quality that keeps all those within the dream satisfied. Most role players within the dream are semi to paragraph+ role players. As such, we have a current 'line minimum' of three lines within Furcadia's smallest font. When our line limit is enforced for large group role-plays, we also expect all to adhere to it for time reasons.

    10.) Advertisements
Blatant advertisements (multiple sentences, bolding text, making the description more about the advertisement and less about the character) is not allowed in Har'luth outside of guild-orientated advertisements (for more information, click here). A small simple link to your artwork, alts, or dream is fine.
Example links: [Art/Commission], [TGT] (or another dream link], [Alts.]
You will be whispered by an OOC Staff member and asked to remove the link or change it. Do not argue with staff (see Rule # 12), if you refuse to change the link description you will be ejected and temporarily banished until it is removed.

    11.) Harassment
Harassment of other characters or staff is not allowed. Harassment is termed as constant or abusive continuing words or actions once asked to stop. The general suggestion is to place an ignore upon them. You may alert staff to the situation as well, so long as you are not participating in encouraging the other party to continue. However, if the issue is personal, you are advised to place them on ignore or the silence rule, and contact a guardian. We do not patrol whispers, that is why we ask to you use the ignore option and the silence rule. Please do record anything that may happen. If the person is harassing you out in the open please let us know.

    12.) Courtesy, Respect and Authority**
Courtesy is highly suggested and appreciated when dealing in interacting with other players ic and oocly. Respect and authority is also advocated to be shown to staff as well. Arguing with staff over rules may only make the situation worse. In addition, if any content you post or speak (either in ooc, forums or during rp) is considered particularly malicious or if your behavior is encouraging unnecessary conflict/drama, is also not permitted. This also includes situations such as possible offensive words or actions that you may be asked to stop.

***Please note that words such as Rape and (whatever else that may fall into that category, such as blatant racial slurs, etc) are currently not allowed and are against the Furcadia TOS. If you feel someone is abusing this or causing a scene, alert staff but contact the Guardians immediately - you can say: help Guardians. If one isn't on email the Guardians at guardians@furcadia.com. We can only do so much. Please contact the Guardians if this happens.***

    13.) Consent
The consent rule stands for every IC action. If you do not wish your character to participate in a certain situation, it is up to you to break it off. Anything you respond to is considered a form of consent to participate. Whispering your rp partner(s) is suggested in order to ease over the situation and either stop the rp or turn it upon an agreeable path.

    14.) Sexual RP & Fighting
Fighting is not permitted in the main IC areas. Fighting is permitted in the Arena and Private Rooms. Staff will warn you, or make an emit moving the fight to a different area. It is disruptive to other peoples RPs, so please keep them to the appropriate areas. Keep in mind, we may not have an abundant amount of character played Staff but multiple NPC Guards frequent TGT. So, as an example, a fist fight in the bar wouldn't last longer than two hits before Guards broke it up.
If you want to roleplay sex with someone, take it to the private rooms. No exceptions. No ifs.. ands.. or butts about it. Staff will give proper warning, and if it still continues a banishment will be in order.

15.) General Areas Not to Occupy
Thrones. Thrones are an off-limits item for anyone but the Queens to sit on. The script in the dream already restricts anyone entering a throne but the designated Queen. However, if you summon yourself into the throne, you will be ejected without a warning. After multiple ejections, you will be banned from the dream.
Noble Areas. Noble shops and designated areas are off-limits to members who are not of a noble status and restricted to minimal use by outside role-players until having visited multiple times. There is a social class at Har'luth and it must be exhibited in a realistic manner.
(Example: A poor person cannot be seen buying clothes from a noble tailor.)
Poor Areas. While Royals have a duty to see to the needs of the queensland and stay in the loop for all the going-on's, nobles maintain a Reputation. This Reputation goes down each time a Noble visits the Poor district and increases the realistic social gulf that existed in such times.

    16.) Ignore/Silencing
Ignoring/silence ruling staff is not allowed. It will most likely get you removed from the dream. Should you feel yourself wanting to do such a thing, please contact another OOC staff member with logs regarding the situation. You can say *staff to see what staff are online.

    17.) Idling
Idling anywhere in the dream is not allowed. Continual idling or avoiding of the auto idle system will result in you being moved by staff, ejection, and temporary banishment if it isn't corrected.
It is suggested that you move your character to the *ooc or *idle rooms. Staff are exempt from this rule and may idle in main areas so long as their character is online for the purpose of recording whispers and issues. However, should the rules be broken purposefully while a staff member is idle in the main area, logs will be checked and may result in your ban/banishment.

*Staff are exempt from these rules if ONLY to enforce them.

Should you not wish to follow these rules you may be removed from the dream for a period of time as seen fit by staff and/or the owner/managers.

Should you have any question regarding the rule, or believe yourself to be miss-handled, please feel free to contact the appropriate staff (Management) or provided outlet. Keep in mind we do keep logs of these situations.

    18.) Ejection & Banishment
So you have been ejected. This means it has been for a reason and you will be told that reason. If you continue to be ejected for one reason or another, and trust us, we keep track of all these events, you will be banned from the dream. Not only your character, but you as a person. Yes, this means your ALTs. We train our staff and choose them carefully. If you are ejected and banned, it is for a reason that has been discussed with all the staff and the owner. Arguing about it won't help. You can state your case in a calm manner, having logfiles of the events help. Do not post these on the forums. Find a staff member or contact the dream owner VIA PM on the forums or whispers.
****Harassment about ejections, banning, or in general will be dealt with in a strict manner. If you really want to go down this road, the Furcadian Guardians will be contacted to deal with you.
If we feel for any reason you are not in tone with the friendly community atmosphere we have at Har'luth, we reserve the right to remove and banish you. You have your opinions while we have ours, you're more then free to share them.. but we are just as free to have those who enjoy being in Har'luth, in Har'luth.****

    19.) ADDITIONAL NOTE AND DISCLAIMER
Firstly be aware that these rules are not always completely up to date and do change over time. There is a process and they cannot be changed and altered at a whim.

Secondly.. be advised that staff reserves the right to exercise discretion in enforcing these rules. Our main goal is the enjoyment of our residents while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for them. When a situation arises that disturbs the environment and the comfort of others, we can and will take necessary action.

Thirdly.. Please do not point out what is or isn't in the rules to us, again, we reserve the right to take action in interest of the dream, our word is final on that. We cannot account for every possibility in these rules and it is a case by case basis, not everything is listed or will be, but we will act on best judgment, it's not to single you out. This is why we generally advise and give a friendly warning first rather than taking serious action, so that you are aware. Please follow the directives of staff.

    Taken from the Furcadia TOS:
    Quote:
Racially offensive or hateful language is not allowed even on maps designated for older players (M16+, A18+, and AO standards) Dream Owners are responsible for maintaining and enforcing the standard they have selected for their dream.

As such, due to recent events, we will not be allowing characters that are in violation of this rule, including, but not limited to Nazi characters.
