Of course, each Rikuasii is unique, but there are certain traits that all seem to share.
They all seem to be mindful of the local customs and keeping up with what is polite
here, though most do not want to have their own culture erased. They are aware they are visitors and will keep their own customs to the privacy of wherever they end up living.
They are polite and while some fae are bound not to lie, it literally does not exist to them as a concept. The closest they have is a concept of silence when they do not want to speak something; this is understood by members of the species to mean what they do not want to hear. It is a polite way of telling the truth in a hard way.
Like many fae, the Rikuasii are gift-givers, but their gifts come more freely and with less expected to be returned. This might be because as a whole, they all love giving gifts. This also means that they will give whatever is available, including any and all valuables they might have. A refusal of a gift is akin to saying that they are no longer friends. It will be met with silence when in the presence of the other.
They are polyamorous with a main pair-bond within their own species. They are happy to share, but they are always loyal to their pair-bond above all else. This is in part because they are unable to breed with those outside of their species, but also because it creates a lasting bond of protection between two Rikuasii.
They are wary of those who kiss openly in public because of the way they mate. Kissing is seen as a highly personal act and to see it in public is shameful. They do not seem to think actual sex is the same because they lack context for it. Their version of affectionate touching is forehead touches.
