The Sphere
Welcome to Sphere, a realm that drifts amongst stars.
The Sphere is host to several distinctly different areas on varying islands, floating within the magical bubble. They are listed below, from top to bottom:
~Solstice Isle
Reachable only in December-Winter ThemedThis island is a winter retreat, accessible only during a few weeks every winter. Azure generally forces everyone to migrate to this small snow-capped cabin to get everyone socializing and knowing their neighbors so that no one is lonely during the holidays. (This area is only loaded during the weeks leading up to and after the solstice/yule/x-mas/new years/etc)
~The Mists
Unreachable-UnknownThis is a layer between the rest of the sphere and the generally inaccessible snowy island above. The mists were rumored to have mysterious islands within, but none have been able to make any headway finding them.
~The Arboreal Isles
Reachable-Forest/Feral ThemedThese linked islands are a mysterious new land, only recently habitable (as of 2014). Previously a dead forest forgotten since the Sundering, the land was transformed when an evil mage opened a portal to the Abyss. The land grew tainted, and as the infernal taint spread, it awoke long dormant Fae. These small magical being used their power to protect the land and return the untainted portions to lush forests. The forests and river lay under their protection, safe dens for any feral to reside in; whereas the other side of the river lay tainted, home to demons and direhounds.
~Riftwind Isles
Reachable by Isle OwnersThis is a small archipelago of islands that either broke off the main isle or were pulled up during the Sundering. Recently they have been developed to house apartments or whole houses, and the Lady of the Isles custom builds each living space for any wishing their own private spot on the islands! (These Islands are custom built within the dream for IRL money, limited to fundraiser sales only. Please note there is an abundance of empty, hidden rooms that can be ICly claimed and RPed in all throughout the dream at no charge.)

~Isle Serail-Home to two distinct areas that barely know of eachother's existance~Starlight Escape
Reachable-Fantasy/Romance ThemedThe dream's namesake, it is a fantasy themed area, much like a Tavern or Inn in function. It takes up the top half of the island which includes the main estate, scenic cliffs, the lake, the greenhouse, and the Apothecary. The estate includes a rooftop bar, private rooms, spa, common room, and library. This portion of the island also has many secret areas to explore and plenty of nice spots to sit and RP to your heart's content!
~Caverns of the Bound:
Reachable-BDSM/Slave ThemedThe Caverns are a slave trade themed, 18+ area; a black market of assorted goods running under the surface of the establishment above. Occupying a large complex of caves, there are very few connecting tunnels between the fairly innocuous manor above and the furnished tunnels; keeping the two areas relatively separate despite inhabiting the same island. Slaves and slavers are trained to stay below so as not to alert the patrons of the Escape, though it is not unheard of for the patrons of either establishment to mingle at times. The Caverns include Pens, Auction, Hookah Lounge, Arena, Public & Private Rooms, & a Bath House.
~The Bleak Oasis
Unreachable-Desert/Egyptian ThemedThe Oasis is a continent currently inaccessible and unexplored. It is rumored to be a desolate stretch of land where the Sphere's sun filter was weakest. Water dripping from creeks and rivers on islands above left tiny Oasis pools ranging from puddles to ponds dotting the surreal landscape. (Yes, this is planned in a future update.)
~The Mire Lagoon
Unreachable-UnknownThe Mire is a pool of (mostly) water at the bottom of the Sphere which protects the islands from harm, and the vacuum of space. This pool catches any clumsy guest who might fall off one of the floating islands, though unfortunately it also catches any debris and liquid tossed over the edge. It may save a life, but it was not the most pleasant pool to land in. -

Introducing 32-Bit Solstice Isle!
While the update for the main dream is still a long term project, I'd hoped to give you all a sneak peak at some of the lighting that will be used in future updates! The winter dream is much smaller, and much easier to convert to...EcoVerse Released!
