- Patrons -People that visit to enjoy the various amenities available to the public. They may or may not have an interest in the Covenant. All are welcome to enjoy the feasts, orgies, arena, or gardens without issue. Providing donations or gifts to the temple may allow access to the lesser known pleasures offered by the templeRegular PatronsDaenar
- Servants -Those that are forcibly taken into the Covenant’s care are not privileged, and cannot move up through the ranks normally. They may be used for pleasure, breeding, sacrifice, manual labor, or menial tasks.Servant Roster
- Worshipers -Patrons who have an interest in the mental and spiritual enlightenment the gods offer, or who are tempted by the boons the gods may provide, can choose to devote themselves to the Covenant as a whole to find what they seek. There are certain requirements of a worshiper, including but not limited to regular offerings.Resident Worshipers
- Handmaidens -Females who are nearly a mix of servants and worshippers, with the difference being that their servitude is voluntary and entirely more pleasant. Rather than cleaning or manual labor, Handmaidens are females that have devoted themselves to the Covenant to the degree that they are trusted with the most minor of rituals such as cleaning the feet of those that enter, offering massages or sexual services, serving food and drink, and fetching required amenities. Though not a required step to being an Acolyte, it bodes well for those that aspire to become priestesses to pick up this basic experience, improving their chances of reaching higher ranks.Handmaidens
- Acolytes -Male or female worshipers who have dedicated themselves so wholly to the Covenant that they have garnered the notice and favor of a God, priest, or priestess. Acolytes are granted their position at the behest of the Gods or High Priestesses only, and only after a recommendation by a priest or priestess. If an Acolyte does well, it raises the status of the one who recommended them. Acolytes are taught secret magics and are charged with the responsibility of protecting their deity's Temple, and performing intermediate rituals. Sometimes they will leave the Temple to negotiate for required resources or items of interest, and spread word of the Covenant afar.Acolytes
- Priests/Priestesses -With enough devotion, anyone may become a priest of priestess of a deity they admire or feel strongly connected to. In return for their devotion, they have guaranteed access to gifts or boons that help them accomplish their goals of spreading the Covenant's influence and power. It is at this stage that someone might be deemed worthy of a gift such as immortality, forbidden knowledge, or land and status for their families or themselves after an agreed duration of service has concluded.Priests and Priestess
- High Priestesses -Xor'Athalos uniquely has High Priestesses that rank over his regular priests and priestesses. These priestesses are a carefully selected group of twelve females reborn with a blessing of divinity that serve Xor'Athalos directly, plus Cherubim at the Head also known as "First Blood of the Covenant" for her role in starting The Scarlet Covenant. Within these thirteen chosen rests a fragment of the prime deity's soul, granted in return for complete devotion to his cause, above even their own life.High PriestessesCharmian
- Lesser Deities -Beings who do not have a temple, but have achieved some degree of divinity and may gain worshippers of their own. They may also be granted a small shrine upon which gifts and requests may be placed. Typically associated/under one of the four deities. This is the highest rank within the temple that a mortal may -eventually- reach. It's said that there is a secret test given to priests and priestesses wishing to reach this status, and that most don't recognize the test for what it is.Lesser Deities
