A strong man torn between a gentle heart and a terrible rage, Sipho has a past that cannot be described to those who know nothing of magic. His strength is a curse and the rage that comes with his muscles often throw everyone off, but he loves with a terrible strength. He wants to be gentle, but it's so hard when he's so quick to anger.
Fire without passion is worth less than ashes. Dagmar is a lovely lady who has been burned more than once, but she is not without passion. She has spent her life learning how to control fire and keep from being burned. Even so, she knows something about burns; she has never loved a man, but her heart is taken by a woman long gone.
Like many, Kaela was bought, purchased at a young age to be trained to work as an acrobat. While she is not happy about her lot in life, she knows nothing of her culture and has no idea what she might do outside of flying high with the circus.
Paraded as a pacific islander, Kawehi is not the girl's name and the islands are not her home. while she works with the acrobats, she despises being placed alongside them, alongside Kaela - they are not friends, though she has not let Kaela know.
