Ellie had put in some time off from her Job at the Naval criminal investigation services after her boyfriend was killed during his last protection detail and having helped bring the killer to justice she just needed some time to gather her thoughts. She did however keep in touch with her team up until a couple days ago when everything had went silent. The CDC had put out a pandemic bulletin. "Could this have anything to do with the bio-terrorist threat Gibbs and Torres had told her they were working on?" She asked herself. D.C seemed to be the only place with communications She has tried calling her parents back in Oklahoma with no success. She wondered to herself what was up with the rapidly constructed walls the military put up around the entire DC area. Not being able to contact her family worried Eleanor. So the headstrong woman did nothing other than pull some strings with some of her contacts that owed her some favors. She arranged a Helo out of D.C to Oklahoma She packed her gear and met with the pilot on the helipad of the hotel where she quickly loaded her things into it. "Ready when you are Ma'am" Said the pilot to her as she finished loading the last of her bags. "Ready Soldier! but if anyone asks you don't know where I went to after you drop me of! understand?" She asked with a nod of her head as she boarded the Helo. "Copy than Ms. Bishop." Responded the pilot as they lifted off. "Here!" She said handing him a sealed envelope. "Give this to Gibbs when you return!" Ellie said and sighed. "Will do ma'am" the pilot said. nearly a day later they arrived in Oklahoma the pilot landed the helo at Navy training yard that still seemed to be functioning with minimal staff. Ellie unloaded her gear and reloaded it into a nearby HumVee. "Thanks Soldier! That'll be all!" Ellie jumped into the Humvee and exited the Training yard in route to her family home. The things she saw as she drove was shocking and horrendous to say the least. Houses trashed stores looted. Fires burning. "Something is off... this is just not right." she said to herself as she drove abandoned vehicles everywhere dead bodies scattered the sidewalks and roads. Turning on the Humvee's military radio scanning She would listen to see if she could hear anything that could shine some light on what ever was going on. after a few hours of silence she decided to try and make some contact of some sort via the radio. "Anyone out there? This Is Agent Ellie Bishop NCIS.. Over.."
Serity's head scrammbled around as a creature crawled towards her. Tears flooded her eyes and streamed down her face, soaking the collar of her shirt and face. "P-Please.." She whispered, barely audible. "D-not.. kill me..." She felt a scream crawl up her throat as she saw the creature get closer. Her eyes widened as the creature took clutch of her, right then and right there, she let out a scream of panic and pushed it off her.
Alex was vacationing in DC. He was from London, England Luckily he hadnt ran into any zombies, walkers or whatever people call those things till now. Sad thing was those things already were in hometown. He had no clue. He woke up in his hotel room hearing screams linger from the hall the hotel room was nice it had beige was a flat screen tv the carpets a dark red. The couches with light brown. He slowly got up and groaned" bloody hell" he said out loud with a strong British accent. He soon placed his black baseball cap on and and his black t shirt with his jacket on which matched. He headed to the door after strecthing of course. He rubbed his eyes hearing the screams. He soon enough grabbed his pistol from the desk he had it on just for safety precautions . Alex once making it to the door slowly opened it to see people running and screaming. Still confused he looked down the hall seeing just people run. Something was very wrong here.
Ellie continued to slowly cruise the streets not sure what was going on and still has had no contact on the radio. She tried to make some sense out of what she is seeing. "What the hell is going on?" She asked herself sighing giving her head a shake. She brought the Humvee to a halt Not seeing any sign of people is odd... The streets empty, No sign of normal day to day activities. Picking up the radio again.. "This is Agent Bishop NCIS does anyone have a copy? Over." She would say getting more irritated not to mention confused. "This does not feel right... what am I not seeing?" She asked herself noticing smoke rising off in the distance Ellie started the humvee back up and would then begin to drive towards the rising smoke. She would dial in the frequency of the local law enforcement. "This is NCIS Agent Bishop, Anyone have a copy? Over!" Ellie was getting more and more restless as time passed. She has had extensive training but there are some things the training don't cover like unexplained disappearances on a scale of this size. Continuing towards the smoke and closing in on it's location at a decent pace. "Is there anyone out there!" She would say across the radio once more this time with a bit of aggression in her tone. Ellie checked to make sure her pistol was loaded, tucking a couple spare clips into the corresponding compartments of her tactical vest. Tossing supplies into a backpack in case She has to put her crime scene investigation skills to use. She would send a text to other members of her team back in DC which go unanswered atleast for the time being. This wasn't unusual especially if they were working on a case. So with a shrug and a sigh she continued driving towards the location of the rising smoke.
As the people ran down the hall echoes came from bwhind them. Something in the pit of his stomach felt at ease"whats going on?" he asked someone running by but no answer. He stepped out of the room before seeing something that looked human with blood coming out of it's mouth lunge at him.
As he was on the ground the human looking thing snapped its teeth at him" are you crazy?" he asked pushing it away from him doing his best to avoid the mouth.
