Club Nocturne

You and your characters must be 21+ years of age to play Club Nocturne. Our ratings lean more towards M for Mature (due to profanity, alcohol, and cartoon/fantasy violence.)
"Hey, Zehlua, why did you change it from 16+ to 21+?"
Because people are terrible, and I don't want teenagers in adult spaces. That's a recipe for disaster, and I prefer having a good and ethical time with cool people. (I first started making Club Nocturne when I was in high school, so an update on age restrictions has been LONG overdue.)

1. Share the fun and good times with those you care about

2. Be considerate of the feelings of other players, and ensure that you're all having a good time. If someone does something in RP that you don't like, please tell them kindly and assertively (not aggressively) to change their behavior, or retry their last move. When OOC, please be kind to one another and avoid using insulting or otherwise abusive language (unless, of course, that's how you banter with your friends. The important thing is that nobody's getting hurt.)

3. Please respect asexual and aromantic players and characters!

4. You CAN swear here (and please do!), but you can NOT say racial slurs and other offensive things. Having an offensive character (such as a Nazi) will result in banishment.

5. Bar fights and other forms of moderate combat are allowed, AND other players are allowed to react in-character to such disruptions of peace. However, you may NOT destroy Club property, unless the code allows you to visually alter the scenery around you. Otherwise, posts such as *blows up the whole building* will be ignored and/or considered invalid. You are also strictly prohibited from murdering or seriously injuring other players or NPC's.

6. Do not block doors, entrances, exits, and pathways. Do not hog the carnival rides, food stalls, and other activities. Besides that, you can idle or AFK anywhere you like :}
(If this becomes a repetitive issue, misplaced idle characters will be booted from the game automatically.)

*TRIGGER WARNING: RULES PERTAINING TO DISTURBING CONTENT BELOW*

7. Extreme violence, gore, and shock material is NOT allowed. If you aim to make a real-life person feel nauseous or panicky, reconsider your moves and motives.
(To those of you asking if you can play a monster whose limbs instantly regenerate, or a candy gore or gummy gore character, that is perfectly fine.)

8. Engaging in ANY non-con (rape) or cubbing/pedophilic RP will result in permanent banishment. This also applies to anthro/human-on-feral RP (feral, in this instance, means the character in question is expressly an animal or pet that cannot communicate proper enthusiastic consent via nodding or speaking. Alternatively, both or more parties involved in sexual acts fail to pass the Harkness Test and the Enthusiastic Consent test.)

9. Incest is strictly forbidden.

10. Activities involving diapers, vomit, urine, and scat will result in permanent banishment.

11. Pregnancy and birthing-related roleplays are not allowed (this includes un-birthing.)

12. Glorification of self-harm, real-life war, and other shocking or sensitive subject matter will result in permanent banishment.

13. Fixating on politics, religion, and other debate-heavy topics is not only misaligned with the fantasy roleplay vibe of Club Nocturne, but it's also a one-way ticket to a bad time for everybody involved. If you must discuss or debate these topics, please do so in DM's/Whispers, and keep such private business out of public Club spaces.

14. Repeated harassment, spamming (especially sound effects), and rule-breaking will result in banishment.
