In the year 2343 an alien civilization at odds with humanity launches a surprise attack. With the rest of the galactic community refusing to lend aid, humanity is left to fend for itself.

The attack was swift and merciless, while only a few Human colonies were attacked Earth was hit the hardest, two hundred ships launched a vicious attack breaking through Earths relatively light peace time defences. Millions died everywhere, with orbital bombardment hitting major and minor Earth cities alike. By the time Humanity's military was able to respond there was little they could do, the fight lasted two months with many survivors being evacuated. Earth was abandoned with millions still stuck on the ground. Survivors would later report that they had at one point believed the galactic community would aid them when other species ships began to arrive in the aftermath. The truth was they had come to ensure we were defeated. They were wrong.

Your character takes the role of civilian during the siege of Earth and will join fellow civilians in attempting to escape the slaughter. From there they have choices to make, do they join the military in order to defend whats left of a scattered but rebuilding Humanity or do they perhaps join the engineering in designing new ships to fight with? regardless of the choices made they will push Humanity forward and bring important questions to light. Will we survive? Can we rebuild a war-torn galaxy? or will we go too far in our quest for revenge against those who would seek to wipe us out?

Innocence lost. War can bring out the best...and the worst in us.
