The Now

  • The Now -- What you need to know as a new or older Suesai player

It was once known that the species of Suesai originated in the northern waters of Kasuria, through lore they were once known as the Hearts of the Ocean, Aquatic lions of the sea who were rumored to protect the oceans from Leviathans that threatened their very existence and the mortals that roamed the surface on ships. They were praised, though short lived due to population decline through the acts of being hunted by those very people who praised them for their beautiful fur-pelts and exotic scales, that they were forced to relocate thanks to being driven to near extinction. Though most dont know much about the actual life-style of a suesai, they are thought to have hidden treasures scattered in secret locations due to sunken ships long gone and hunters sought them to one day eventually get them tamed enough to reveal such locations in hopes of getting rich. Many, if not most of their kind were forced into slavery where they were bred for their exotic appearance or used as personal servants. Males were mostly forced into fighter roles for entertainment or used for sexual desires. Those lucky enough to be free, roamed the waters in search for a place to call home.

The Golden Tether seemed to be the most popular slave market where one was capable of seeing or even buying a Sue-Sai creature, free-born or slave born they were all exotic in their own ways. Free-born Suesai possess a very aggressive and incredibly dangerous nature, their long-standing history of violence and excessive slaughter the only reasoning most fear trying to tame one whilst slave born suesai have more of a timid sort of personality towards others as that is what setting they grew up in and were taught.(edited)

Thanks to a group of suesai (Lambent, Nymphe, Alsius, Divina, Orbis), most slave born and captured suesai were set free, broken from their chains they left the island of Guildereim as a whole in search of a location where their once mighty kingdom could once more thrive with a new face to reign. Though free from chains and the mortals from above, the freed suesai experienced plenty of hardships of their own. Due to the decline in suesai numbers and the mass majority having been in slavery, there were none to protect the ocean from the over-population of Leviathans. Their numbers are unknown. It wasn't just leviathans the group was faced with though, a deadly virus was swept through the currents. Clinging to only suesai making them extremely ill to the point many died and those that survived the virus that lasted a few years suffered scars both physically and mentally. It is still unknown to this day how the virus came to be or how it had been created. It attacked from the inside out causing organ failure, immune system shut downs, madness, blindness, it even affected how some abilities were used. It took anyone that could heal at a faster rate than normal to try and counter the affects of the virus in attempts to save as many as they could but given it took days to heal a single suesai.. alot had passed. The virus is, one of the reasons why mutations began to happen.

Once the virus was cleansed from their people, Lambent with the help from her mate and the original group that left the island of Guildereim together that survived, worked hard on finding a location to call home.. to rebuild a kingdom that had collapsed so long ago but never forgotten. Though it started small in numbers, throughout the years it became a well established kingdom with suesai from all over the world coming to settle within. This location, thanks to the General was given the title of 'Devil's Triangle' due to the mass amount of ships that seemingly vanished within the blink of an eye. The weather upon the surface being completely fine one moment, and then a raging storm appearing the next. Sailors have learned of this deadly triangle, and avoid it at all costs. It wasn't just the weather that made this triangle rather unique and dangerous, though there was no proper explanation on the how.. Time moved at a rather different pace than that outside of the triangle, those capable of surviving in this area typically that of the immortal kind, as it is estimated roughly that for every one land year, ten to fourteen years have passed within the devil's triangle

    The Virus

The virus was believed to be made or came about due to a mutation within the water and bacterial growth. Truth be told though no one actually knew where it came from. It targeted the immune system and organ function on most Suesai. Though it started off with flu like systems it was indeed strange for them to deal with. As suesai do not become sick. The longer one went with the virus the more damage the virus would do. Though once it actually reached the immune system and organ failure stage there was no way to heal it.
Many suesai suffered from this virus. Losing things such as their main abilities, their healing aid from water and some like their leader blindness and immune failure. The virus itself could only be healed by those of master or high leveling healing capabilities. Which lead very little to aid in saving the Suesai race.

The Suesai Kingdom Need to Knows

Within the Devil's Triangle, the kingdom of the suesai resided towards the northern boundaries. A massive city built on the foundations of lost forgotten ruins from a time long forgotten, rebuilt with majestic pillars and stone walls covered in corals and underwater plant life that added a beautiful layer of color on everything. Bio-luminescence plant life scattered here and there to provide a light source that lights up the city. In the center of it all, was a castle like structure, large as it housed the leaders of the species along with those of noble elite class. Just as the Devil's Triangle was special, the kingdom that housed the suesai was equally as special for the entire kingdom was surrounded by a dome like shield, a purple shade that seemed to shimmer to other colors depending on how one looked at it. This shield was produced by four pulsating orbs, one each at the designated north, east, south and west points of the kingdom. Heavily guarded at all times. Suesai of all species seem to be capable of entering and exiting the dome free willing, Heavily mutated suesai will struggle with entry due to their mutated chemistry and a small flash will be present at their location but the system wont sound an alarm as it still registers the suesai in them. Anything of large size, car size up, is denied entry and thus wouldn't be capable of entering. Should something large of size attack the barrier, the location where it was hit would flash a bright white to signal a warning throughout the entire kingdom along with a sound only present to those within the dome. If a single orb is removed, the other three will begin to wan and the shields will weaken. All four orbs are needed in order to power the dome shield.

    Who are the Abyss Suesai?

The Abyss Suesai are an outcast of Suesai that slowly grew from a few into a minor kingdom or clan as some would say.
Their leader Obliterate the eldest son to Lune and the rightful heir to the Suesai kingdom.
Though the Abyss suesai are heavily mutated class of Suesai. Not only do all of them have mutations that are rarely seen if ever? Every single one of them eat their own kind, and anything weaker then them.
This act though caused something to mutate in them in the later generations. Which not only makes them a great deal stronger then past and newer generation sueai. It also makes them crazed, their aggression and dominate nature is rarely matched by another.
Abyss suesai commonly find strong and strong willed Suesai attractive even if they hate the fact that they may not be mutated. They are massively loyal to whoever rules them. To rule them though means to be the strongest among them, to never show weakness and above all else never fail.
Their ratio in strength equals every two-three average suesai to their one abyss suesai.
(Average Suesai are those that hold some experience and talent in abilities and combat but are not considered experts at it such as many of the OLDER suesai.)

    Let's Go over Suesai Meat

    1. Suesai meat to another Suesai is almost like a drug. The basic break down for Suesai not from cannibalistic lines usually goes as followed.
~ Dominate euphoric high, enhancement in one of their abilities(it will be their ability that get enhanced every time they consume it).
~ Jittery, leading to a paranoid or uneasy sensation.
~ Rage (It can be something as minor as just wanting to push around to blind uncontrolled rage)
~ The level out (where you seem to go back to a mild euphoric high that's outlined with an overly confident almost chaotic neutral (or worse) mind set.)
Suesai meat can stay without in their system between 4 to 72 hours depending on the Suesai. When coming "off" of Suesai meat all suesai will experience some form of sever with drawl symptoms -- some worse than others depending on how long they used for.

    2. The basic break down for a Suesai from Cannibalistic lines usually goes as followed.
~ The first time they consume Suesai meat or re-consume it after a long period of time. They will all have an agitated almost unsettling itch.
~ Which usually is mixed with an anger that slowly builds up but can lay dormant until provoked.
~ Once their body adjust to the Suesai meat again they stay in an enhanced state when it comes to their ability (that they picked) and a mild but constant taunting ebbing of an euphoric high and the feeling to want to create mass destruction.
Suesai from Cannibalistic blood lines can still come off the side affects of eating Suesai meat. Though their side affects will only be their enhanced ability and possibly their constant euphoric state. They will still feel rage whether being labeled a short tempered being or one that can snap at the drop of a pen.

All Suesai whether from clean lines or not can be tempted by Suesai meat once consumed.
Those from cannibal lines though usually have a faster time adapting to the side affects but each Suesai will vary by this.
