The Races
FOUR RACES THROUGHOUT ONE REALM.
THEY STRUGGLE TO MAINTAIN PEACE WITH ONE ANOTHER.
PEOPLE WILL DIE, PEOPLE WILL LIVE. WHO WILL WIN?
THE ELVEN RACE
HIGH ELF ・゚
Hailing from the lands of Oros, the high Elven race, while adept in magic, and a prosperous people, are stuck in their ways and often find themselves believing they are better than the rest of the races, including the other Elven races. Their cheekbones are sharper, ears pointier. Their kingdom possesses so much wealth that even the lower class adorns the finest fabric in the land of Oros.
WOOD ELF ・゚
The wood elves of Hairo, while very in touch with nature, great in archery and known for their ability to tame animals, are behind in technological advancements. They are peaceful people and tend to classify a person's class by the way they treat others and how respected they are instead of the clothing they wear. Some of the highest ranking officials only wear mere rags. Their skin holds a warm golden color and their cheekbones softer, however their ears are just as pointy as the high elves.
DARK ELF ・゚
Rumored to be born from the ashes of the All-Father flame, the dark-skinned, high boned elven people of Nightvale are a religious people, buildings made of the oldest stone laid by their ancestors before them. They are able to summon a fiery wall that bursts from their person and damages any enemies around them.
SNOW ELF ・゚
Known for their snow-like skin, the people of Wynter Isles are far more advanced in technology and are an incredibly intelligent race. They are said to be humble yet mistrusting as the humans of the Badlands often kidnap their kind to keep hostage for a various number of reasons; especially the intelligent. Their civilization rivals those of the high elves.
THE HUMAN RACE
NORTHMEN ・゚
The Northmen are a strong race from even farther North, the Great mountain, than that of Snow Elves. Their skin is fair and their hair usually is blonde in color or a dark brown. They are most especially known for their ability in battle and loyalty they possess.
VIKINGS ・゚
Much like their Northmen brethren, the Vikings are strong and excellent in battle though their loyalty is to their own King, and their King only. They are excellent strategists and known for their bloodthirsty warriors. Their skin and general complexion are similar to the Northmen due to originating in the same area, though redheads are more common in Voseros than the Great Mountain.
RED SANDS ・゚
Hailing from a land where slavery is common, the dark skinned, course-haired people are known for their impressive use of blades of many kinds, Red Sands - as they are called by others - prefer the term Reskana. They are fairly wealthy people, though most comes from the pirates that assist in their... ventures. They are the only kingdom to allow foreigners to freely cross their lands and though they claim their intentions are good, if you'd look around, there were more slaves than not.
BADLANDERS ・゚
From possibly one of the most difficult environments come the Badlanders, a half Dark Elf and half Viking race, known for their cruelty both on the battlefield and off. The race has a grayish skin color, or pale white. Their ears have developed a slight point due to being half Elven and some are more noticeable than others.
FENRIR AND FELRIN
FENRIR & FELRIN ・゚
Nestled into a large land of green jungle live both the Fenrir and Felrin, who live in peace amongst one another and even sometimes under the same roof. The Felrin are a beautiful, humanoid-feline people, stealth and grace being their strongest traits. Due to these traits, however, they are known to get in trouble whenever travelling to other lands whether they did what they are accused of or not. The Fenrir are similar to the Felrin in that they are humanoid animals, but they are canine in appearance. They are known to be loyal to a fault and protective. Their best attributes are their ability to learn quickly, their agility and endurance. The kingdom the two races live in is called Danerynn.
THE ORCS
ORCS ・゚
Living in the center of the world, there are people with green, gray or light-skinned gray skin and tusks typically large in size. They're known for their sharp temper, and are possibly one of the strongest races. They make excellent blacksmiths. Their homeland, Vane Rock, is surrounded by steep walls to keep them protected from invaders. -
The Species
THESE ARE THE CREATURES THAT LURK IN THE NIGHT.
THE CREATURES THAT LURK WITHIN THE DAY.
THE CREATURES THAT HOLD YOUR LIFE IN THEIR HANDS.
IF THERE IS AN ASTERISK (*) BESIDE A SPECIES, YOU CAN MAKE IT A HYBRID. HOWEVER, LYCANTHROPES CANNOT HAVE HYBRIDS TOGETHER.
THE WEREWOLVES *
❝ I'm telling you, I heard it! Howling! Those werewolf tales are true! ❞
Werewolves are the most common form of lycanthrope found, and can be found in every province. Werewolves are individuals who assume wolf-like characteristics during the full moon (or, in some cases, at will).
THE WEREBEARS *
❝ Werebears? Where? Bears? Men that are bears? ❞
Werebears are a type of creature found in different lands of Mirhamel. They are a variant of lycanthrope, and are similar in most aspects to werewolves, with the obvious exception of their appearance.
THE WEREFOXES *
❝ Foxes that are truly men? Ridiculous. ❞
Another variant of lycanthrope and also found in different lands of Mirhamel. Typically in dense forests or something similar.
THE VAMPIRES *
❝ Vampirism tends to keep one remarkably.. fresh. ❞
Vampires are individuals affected with the disease Sanguinare Vampiris. The disease causes drastic physical and biological changes that, if not treated within three days, are permanent. Among these changes are a heightened vulnerability to sunlight and fire and an increased resistance to frost. All benefits and inhibitions are sustained by consumption of blood.
THE MASTER VAMPIRES *
❝ They are the top of the food chain within the coven. ❞
The top vampire in the Coven, Master Vampires lead other vampires within the coven and control any thralls there. Master Vampires are typically found within caves.
THE DRAGONKIN
❝ They hold the power of the dragon within them! ❞
Dragonkin are those with dragon blood flowing through them. You can typically tell who is a Dragonkin by the scales around one of their wrists, or around their heart. The scales tend to glow when the user calls upon the power of the dragons. They are able to use the elements the way dragons do; with a simple word, the power they spoke will come to the user. They are also connected to a dragon in such a way that they can feel the dragon's distress, and pain. While dragon riding is common for their kind, the most powerful can turn themselves into a dragon, though this is much more rare. They feel their bonded dragon's pain, and whenever the dragon dies, the dragonkin slowly die themselves. It takes a while, but the loss of their dragon works like a cancer on their body, falling apart piece by piece.
