I'm super on the fence about this subject but I'm kinda leaning towards running this using the Uncharted Worlds system. Its a system designed specifically for Space Opera-style RolePlay games and was also the direct inspiration for this game, however I've never actually run a game using this system, which is why I'm leaning towards doing so.

This post is meant to be a discussion. I'm gucci with either option. I just sway more towards the system.
If we DO decide to use it, you don't have to be an expert at it or other systems. That's what I'm here for. I've already built several concept characters using it, so I'd be more than happy to help in that retrospect, as well as providing TL;DR relief if you've looking for something in the PDF but just can't seem to find it in the text.
