Aly was a bit restless tonight, it was always that way when she finished whatever painting had been holding her attention for more than a night. Tonight found her entering the quarter on Royal street, her steps carrying her with an almost irresistible grace. Dressed in black despite the heat and the almost oppressive humidity of the night, although the silk top was sleeveless, and the pants were sheer from her hips down. Her hair pulled up, off her neck.
Gray eyes scanned the street, watching as groups that were mostly tourists made their way up and down the street. She was heading to the Sun, to catch a bit of live music before she decided who she would have for dinner.
Raven whould be found sitting in the sun a book in hand as long ebon and purple locks fell over her face hiding any feature of her visage. Leather boot clad foot tapped to the music but no other motion was visable from her as the night seemed to drag on and dispite no outward motions it was very clear to those like her that she was taking stock of those arround her, why? Who knew.
She stepped into the Sun, and looked towards the stage first to see who was playing. Was actually glad to see it was Blue, the girl knew her way around that guitar of hers. She then looked around for a place to settle for a bit. The sounds of "Need her so Bad" surrounding her as the music played. She made her way through the tables, noting the new one sitting alone with a book. She considered speaking to her, but book usually for her meant leave me alone.
She sat herself at a table, and when the waiter came over to see what she wanted she ordered herself a glass of Merlot. Of course waving off the offer of the menu. What she ate wasnt on that menu, even though she knew in a pinch she could ask and it would happen. Preferred to do her own hunting though. Her nails softly drummed to the melody of the tune being played as those ice grey eyes continued to look about at those who were here tonight. She nodded her head, just the smallest bit to those she knew and kept a partial eye on the new one. She knew she hadnt seen her in Nola before, but then again Aly had only been there for a few years, maybe she had returned form somewhere?
The entry of a fellow vampire caught her attion right away but none other than a fellow nightworlder whould notice the swift flinch and flash of her hidden eyes. Her first reaction was to go and speak to her yet she remains seated with her book for the moment, a waiter comes over again offering her food or something else. A paled hand waves them off yet again and seems to go back to her book enjoying the music, yet her vampiric sences where on fire watching the other of her kind.
Raven had yet to meet any other vampires sence that fateful night she had been spared and turned by those that had slagutered her family and thus was curious allmost overly so when those of her newfound race surfaced into her quiet world.
She spotted Chris, the resident chef and rat peek from the kitchen and go back in. Kind of smiled a bit to that, the place was kind of busy, then again it usually was since it was one of the places where the weres could get plates big enough to actually do justice to their appetites. Her wine was delivered, and she lifted the glass, pressing it against her lips and took a very small sip before putting the glass back down on the table.
Her attention again turned to the girl on the stage who went from Aynsley to an early zz top tune. She knew the girl was part fae, although she wasnt one of the ones in the know to know what else she was. Aly did enjoy watching her though, trying to figure out what exactly that other part was. It made for an interesting private game as she went through ideas and came up with reasons for and against.
She sat barely noticing the music change or the flow of patrons even her book fell loosly in her hand as all attions where on Aly. This women this vampire had her caught in complete raptour, it was obvious now to even human eyes as she sat upright and turned her once hidden visage clear as gaze focuses apon the women. Who was she where had she come from? Did vampires useually come here? All this and more corused through ravens mind as she found herself all but falling out of her seat staring.
She noticed the other vampire actively watching her now. She picked up her glass, pushed her chair back as she stood up and then walked over to her. She stopped upon arriving at her table and gestured to the chair. "May I?" She of course was going to wait for her consent to sit down, no matter the fact that Aly was older and could have simply done as she wished. Most times though, that wasnt how she did things.
At the others sudden and dilbrate approach her actions of staring recceded and gaze fell downward allowing hair to again hide her face. “Sure” She manages the book in her hand sort of flopping down apon the table as she flags a waiter deciding she needed a drink afterall. This was however her first interaction with any other vampire sence shed been turned two hundred years ago. She had only one other time to go on and those whom had turned her had been vicious, ruthless demons. Her fear and unease was clear dispite her curiousity.
She pulled a chair out and sat herself down. Sitting her glass on the table as she waved the waiter over. She stayed silent as he came up and she placed her order. Was watching her, almost curiously. That fear, yes it was very clear in her scent and in every movement of her body. Once the waiter went away she spoke softly "I am Alyzandria. " Now, if the girl knew her name or not, that was something that if she didnt Aly would be a lot more curious about. Although her position was still new enough that it probably wasnt common knowledge everywhere within thier world.
As aly sat and then flagged a waiter she waited silent, still. Then rose her ebon gaze to place her own order and finally catch aly’s face. Nodding to her introducion before making her own. -Iam RavenMist though most just call me Raven- She manages a clear allmost calm sounding sentence. She then again falls into a silent reserved state the womens name actually meaning nothing to her sence the only vampires shed met till know had been those whom sired her and killed her family.
She smiled and nodded, and scanning her own mind at the same time but the name wasnt familiar. "Welcome to Nola, or is it a welcome back?" Her accent was definitely not from here, it wasnt a heavy italian accent, but the sounds of italy had not left her speech.
Her hand lifted and pushed back a few strands of jet tresses that had fallen against her cheek. She mentally shook herself as she realized she was all but studying the woman, which was probably making her more than a bit uneasy, especially as she already seemed that way. "I dont mean to be staring. I was trying to think if I should know of you."
“Thank you, and no ive never been here before..i..im from we..well was from far from here...” with that her speech trails off and silence returns, she didnt know if aly should know her unless the women could see the images of her sires that plagued her mind there was noway she could tell her anything about them aside from there ruthlessness. Everything after her awkening as a vampire was horrid and very lonley.
She wouldnt even think to simply break into her thoughts to see such things, no matter how much on the surface they happened to be. She might have caught snaps, quick there and gone flashes, if the thoughts were strong enough. Her fingers started to move against her glass, then stilled as she caught herself.
"Are you moving here then?" Seemed a valid question, right? She wouldnt talk about the usual unless she was doing more than just passing through. The waiter finally brought her drink over, sitting it down and then slipping away again.
At this question a look of caution crosses her features as she decides what to say. “Yes actually found a small place not far from here.” She then smiles to the waiter as they place the drinks down. Slowly she sips her whiskey her only drink aside from well blood. Sitting back in her chair and relaxing a bit foot again tapping to the music.
She smiled, noticed that bit of caution, she didnt really understand it. After all this was about the safest place in the world for thier kind. "Thats good, then I suppose I need to tell you, follow the laws and you'll be fine." There did the whole elder thing. She picked up her wine and took a drink from her glass. "and if theres anything you need. this is probably about the best place to come. If nothing else Nessa will be here, and she can pass messages to whoever you need it passed to."
“Rules?” She askes extremely confused...safe?...nessa? She hadnt the slightest idea what she was talking about or anything about this place. Slowly she withdrew into herself thinking mabey this talking to another vampire wasnt such a good idea. So far keeping to herself had kept her alive...well undead anyhow this this seemed like trouble.
She wasnt even sure why she suddenly seemed to retreat even further into herself "The basics, dont kill the humans, tourists are food, but you still have to get them to agree to it. you know, that kind of thing?" she watched her, of course was trying to figure out if she just didnt know, or if she was simply that afraid either way she'd pin it down shortly.
“Food?...i..ive never i wouldnt eat..humans i..i get my my blood from a bloodbank...friend ow..owns” This whole ordeal was to much for her as she hadnt ever used much of her abalities for anything other than hiding her true nature she was to afarid to do so. It was an unfortant event that had placed her in such a state noone had taught her anything about what she was so she tried to be well not what she was.
She stopped herself from looking horrified, cold blood though. She nodded "I suppose that solves the make sure you get them to consent." And she wouldnt even ask her what she did before bloodbanks. She gazed at her. "May I ask, why you seem like you are considering getting up and bolting? I have no intentions at all of challenging you, or hurting you."
“I..im not used to this” She says gesturing with a pale hand the entire area. She was by far thee worst vampire in exsistence, “my sires taught me nothing i dont even know what im doing here or at all” With that crimson tears began falling allmost of there own accord from her black hued eyes. She was a mess a very sad and lonley mess. Patrons were beganing to stare which only made the tears fall more and her frame quivered with silent sobs...poor aly had gotten herself into it with raven she sure wasnt what youd call the normal creature of the night.
