For the past few years, near the center of the Altair Ocean, boats have mysteriously disappeared for several days, only to reappear miles from where they were last seen, the reason for this is unknown. What’s stranger is that a strong magical presence can be felt when you get close to this central area, people have become nervous and while there hasn’t been any government that could be bothered to investigate it themselves, they’ve sent a request to the Selena Rose Academy for aid. The headmaster had selected two teams to leave together to figure out what this is, given special radios, they were sent off on a three day long boat ride. What they found in the central Altair Ocean was unexpected, a large landmass had been discovered, but it didn’t resemble anything they knew. After arriving on the land, they had begun exploring this new land.
Nearly two weeks had passed since arriving on this odd place and they had discovered they actually discovered the mythical country of Rigel. They were completely out of place, their clothing and weaponry being at least four centuries ahead of Rigel, the natives of Rigel looked upon the group with scrutiny and curiosity. They’ve never seen anything like what you and your allies are wearing, so many had believed they were messengers from the Star Deities. Now, your focus has shifted on exploring the land in search of what’s causing these disappearances, however before your investigation will go places, you need to work on earning the trust of the people. How will you go about that?
This RP essentially follows the idea of a group of students accidentally discovering Rigel and spending the next few weeks exploring the land in hopes of discovering why it disappeared, but considering they’re outsiders with things that the natives of Rigel had never seen before, their investigation will likely run into a few bumps along the way. In order to make this a successful journey, earning their trust is necessary, however it won’t be easy. If the group fails their mission, they’ll be sent back to the academy, if they’re successful, citizens of Rigel will be eligible to participate with academy.
