Lycanthrope Rank & Abilities
The werewolves of Bainscliff harness a unique set of abilities, making them one of the strongest, most feared packs in the world. Their supernatural abilities are unmatched to any other.
Dominance runs through the pack like blood; it acts as a battle of mental strength between two opponents. Their minds form a link, and both sides exert their Dominance. Those who lose the battle are forced to submit to the superior werewolf. The higher the ranks of the hierarchy, the more Dominance they have. This is commonly how the Alpha maintains order.
The ranks can be referred to by the list below, as well as what positions are and are not available:
Alpha (1-2) - Leaders
Beta (1-2) - Second in Command
Gamma (1-2) - Elders
Delta (1-4) - Messengers
Zeta ( 1 ) - War General
Eta ( 2-8 ) - Warriors
Theta (1/1) - Lead Medic (Eva Wendel - ColdSummers)
Iota (1-2) - Medics
Lambda (5) - Hunters
Mu (1) - Peace Keeper
Nu (4) - Sentries
Sigma (1-2) - Tutors
Tau (1) - Lead Scout/Spy
Upsilon (1-4) - Scouts/Spies
Phi (1) - Pup-Sitter
Chi (1) - Jester
Psi (5) - Subordinates
Omega (1) - Lowest Rank
Pup (5) - Youngest
Something To Bear In Mind
When considering a character to use in Bainscliff, please make sure you have reviewed the following. The pack follows a strict hierarchy, in which dominance must be maintained over lower ranks. Think about where your character stands in this hierarchy, and be sure that you are okay with the limits this may bring. Have a character with a personality that fits well with the job that they are assigned.
