This day was the day most people were waiting for. The Day of Joy was not an undeserving title for what awaited the visitors. Those who were camping outside of the tournament's walls would be surprised by the smell of freshly baked bread and milk outside of their tents. How it got there in such large quantities was a mystery, but the taste was fresh and was sure to give anyone a good mood when they woke up.
This day was known to draw the most people to visit, so the tournament had expanded in size in anticipation. The newfound space would not stay empty, though. The amount of bars had tripled at least, and their list of available drinks increased as well. Market stalls were introduced today as well, selling all sorts of goodies as well as selling strange foods from far away lands beyond the Expanse, free for everyone to taste. And naturally, behind every corner a group of bards would play their songs, giving the tournament grounds a very pleasant feel. For a moment, all the troubles of the former days were forgotten.
Why, even Vos Valkearians were in a much better mood than before! Instead of the usual brawls they had with one another or trying to scare off Humans, they were actually drinking alongside them, laughing, singing and arm wrestling while gorging themselves on food. This was sure to be a good omen for the rest of the day!
