History:
The land, which is known as Kurcrane, originally started out with fox nomads who settled down and started to farm and hunt on the land. Though foxes may have been the first to settle there, they was not the first nation established.
The human nation Tainrian, eventually made its way towards the foxes. Although Tainria was not very big, the small group of humans was strong enough to overpower any fox tribe and clan. Tainria, for the longest time, was made up of human and fox species.
When a powerful being appeared, the Tainrian nation vowed to kill it, calling the being “spawn of evil.” The humans was the first to attack the large and powerful being, while foxes fought it only in defense. The foxes was spared only because the being made them promise to abandon Tainria, causing the nation to split.
When Tainria was destroyed, the creature vanished, and the foxes drove out what was left of the humans. With new ways to govern, and much learned experience on Kingdom management, the foxes established their own kingdom. The one who would lead them would be called king. His name was Tumo Xurxrane. {Tuh-moe Ker-Krane}. His son, Gumo Xurxrane, named the kingdom after his father, and the spelling turned out to be Kurcrane.
Since then the foxes have expanded their borders barely, last little, and lived relatively in peace. The current leader is Marx {Mar-kuh} of the Redpaw forest.
Guilds, Groups, Orders:
The Knights Guardians:
A Hierarchy order lead by the General of the Order. The order was founded to keep the peace inside Kurcrane with its members acting as police who venture all over Kurcrane. The Order trains its member in the arts of fighting, and some even train to become a Knight Guardian. They may be appointed by the king, but they do not acts as his right hand or guard.
There exists many foxes who have been knighted by the king. These foxes are called; “Knights Guardians.” They exist to protect Kurcrane and destroy all evil, as well as uphold the laws. Some of them are well versed in the law, and act as mediators. Mediator knights wear white painted armor, bearing the symbol of the king. They usually are requested for mediation and a mediator knight must be present for all issues resolved.
Initially, Knight Guardians are knights by appointed along. Deeds deemed heroic or meritorious earn the title. What foxes do with it is up to them. Some treat it as a means to get what they want, and others use the title to spread the order of law. Most foxes who venture outside Kurcrane with the title spread the name of the Knights Guardians.

They call Azon, the planet’s energy, and use it as such. Not anyone could use Azon powers. Only few can use the power, and even fewer discover that they have the gift.
Most Azon users never leave the forest of Redpaw, and prefer to train in solitude, once they learn how. Those that do venture out, seek a higher calling, such as finding their own apprentices, or restoring a kingdom’s balance. Most Azon foxes seek harmony and focus, and believe there is a balance in all things. So war to them is of no concern.

The order is led by a single fox, who over-sees all assignments and training. Most of the population are trained from the Knights Guardian, while other chose specifically to be trained by the Order of the Dark Crystal themselves.
