They are an army of constructs however they are not a nation, they are controlled by a single scroll and whoever holds it or was the last to touch it has complete and solitary right to command the Legion. Currently the scroll has been hidden in a maze full of traps, with the Legion buried underneath and only the person who can make it to the very inside can obtain the scroll. The maze is being protected by a god as to make sure cheating is not a viable option but once the maze is conquered then the god will leave.

The Legion itself is entirely made up of constructs of stone or metal, there is no other being inside of it. They respond only to the command of the owner of the scroll and will diligently to whatever is ordered until they are ordered to stop. hTheir purpose is as both a workforce and an army. Depending on their orders they can generate a tool or weapon needed for the task. There are different shapes and sizes the beings of the legion can come in, ranging from human sized to giant. At the top of the legion are eleven beings known as the Units, Unit-00 through to Unit -10. These have semi-sentience and Unit-00 has complete sentience. They also have their own individual series of forms which are far stronger than the other beings in the Legion.
This seems as good a time as any to explain the finer working of each section of the Legion.

At the bottom ring are the Sentinels. Sentinels are easily the most common being inside the Legion. These all stand at around six foot and are made up of their stone shell which has the appearance of complete plate armor. The visor is always down and the slits in it only end in stone. The armor has no real detail to it and is as plain as possible. The sentinels fight with 2 sets of weapons, a sword, and shield which displays an emblem faded beyond recognition or a reinforced spear with a short sword. Sentinels never fight alone and always attempt to stick to the formation they have been given to hold.

Next up are the Wardens. These are in effect metal versions of the sentinels in looks, apart from the fact that the armour they are designed to look like is more stylised, with slightly more pointed armour designs. These fulfill the roles of the all the specialized troops, being the pikemen, billmen, halberdiers and any other more specialized role that is assigned to them rather than just being base infantry.

After that is the Guardians. The guardians are one of the biggest of the units in the Legion, these stand at around 15 feet tall. Much bigger than any normal humans. These are made of stone and have the appearance of very thick multi-layered plate armour. Depending on the situation if they are in a defensive position they carry two huge tower shields, each induvidually around six feet tall. Or if they are going on a more offensive attack they can Weild a giant spear instead of one of their shields. This leaves them more vunerable but gives much more offensive power.

The next in line is the Vigilanties, these are the main ranged units within the Legion, they are the same size as sentinels and have the design of lightly armoured troops in thin plate armour. They have an almost triangular shaped helmet with a faded crest on the top. They wield heavy longbows and have reinforced arrows which can do heavy damage to lower armoured troops but are not of great use against armoured troops.

The last of the basic troops are the angels. These are winged versions of the Wardens, they are made of stone and have one of the most elegant designs out of all of the legions units. Their armour design is slender but still looks strong at the same time. The helmet unlike any others is devoid of any normality, with no eye-slots at all and is instead a slender head which points backward. They wield katanas and heavy crossbows.

Going on to the more distinct units are the Paladins, these are similar to the Angels and have the most elegant of armor designs. These soldiers have the look of slender 9-foot tall knights. They are made of metal and their armor designs look strong but thin at the same time. Almost like metal skin. These wield large broadswords and are almost always seen in at least packs of five. Their most distinctive feature though is they wear deep crimson cloaks which flow down behind them.

The powerful flying units of the legion are the seras, like the angels their armour is designed to be as angelic as possible, with six delicately carved wings crafted onto their backs. Like angels, their armour holds no eyeslots, yet apart from that their build is much more in common with the sentinels. On them, they hold a range of weapons: Crossbows, heavy spikes and a spear.

Then are the Champions. These are the largest of the units of the legion. Standing at around 25 feet tall, they have the design of huge thick and multi-layered plate armour . Their helmet is shaped like a rhino's with a large horn protruding from it. Their firsts have huge bolt-like objects protruding from them along with a number of massive spikes which run down the spine of the champions. For weapons, they either choose to pound away at whatever they are fighting or use a large hammer.

Finally are the Cerberus' these are six foot tall stone hounds, with the look of bits of armour bolted on. Giving them a rather simplistic design. These units have a gaping maw, filled with large stone teeth, but no eyes. They can be ridden by Wardens to create a stronger cavalry unit.

While the Legion is a strong fighting force, it comes with one huge weakness, if the person holding the scroll is killed or unable to give directions the Legion will shut down and refuse to move or just back away from the fight to a safe distance, they will only then move again when the scroll is touched by another living being.
