Recently an idea for an inter-Kingdom RP came into my head, but I don't want to do anything that might upset the game world so I'm laying out my idea here first.
As I've said before, the Terelain First Kingdom existed at some point prior to 13,000 years ago when the Scattering ended and the Terelains returned to Terel'Liren, and that it's territories were quite vast, though in the modern day how far they actually extended is mostly a point of conjecture. I was thinking that a Terelain expedition, organised and funded by The Oracle of Silisim herself, were to go to the ruins of an Ancient Terelain city beyond Terel'Liren's modern borders to recover an item of Ancient Magitechnology... a working piece of Ancient Magitechnology.
Obviously something of this magnitude would draw attention; not only have they found the location of working Magitechnology that could be reverse engineered, bringing them one small step closer to the 'Third Golden Age of Magic' that the Terelains are working towards, but The Oracle of Silisim is leaving the protection of Terel'Liren's borders for the first time in Gods' know how long, certainly the first time since the reign of Telar the Unifier, thirteen thousand years ago.
I'm sure other kingdoms would find this of interest, and there are definitely going to be people who want to steal the technology for themselves, not to mention the fact that The Oracle is the oldest and most respected Terelain living, and she is worth far more than a mere King's ransom... and legend says that she is the only one who can open the mythical Sanctuary of Silisim, within which is held the lost secrets of the Ancient Terelains...

Oh, my goodness. I have been absent. SO ABSENT from this group. it's shameful. It's time I get active once more.
What this group could use is a plot, I agree. And this seems to be one of great magnitude. I like it! Power like that is wanted by many kingdoms. Especially smaller ones who seek to be more powerful (I.E. Vos Valkear).
I just have one question about the outcome. It may be possible that this Magitechnology could seriously make a nation overpowered. We might want to discuss something that balances things out first, in my humble opinion.

I agree with the overpowering problem, but it'd be like handing a nation in Medieval Europea car. It'd take decades at least to reverse engineer anything truly useful, especially when you consider that Ancient Magitech runs on a form of magic that is now very rare and poorly understood.
Not to mention it would take just as long to figure out the processes involved in making some of the materials used in the tech, and building the infrastructure to replicate it. AND poking and prodding at the artefact(s) might have bad results anyway from damaging/destroying them to massive explosions.... or something weirder. There have been Terelain Mage Towers that have vanished, been teleported halfway up a mountain and, in one memorable ocassion, turned into cheese.
Bottom line; Ancient magitech is hard to copy, delicate and dangerous. Besides I'm not sure what piece of tech it'll be yet.
