The capital of the Tovalim Kingdom is called Hildern. This city was were the humans first landed when they arrived in Deyash. The citizens here are rugged and straight forward. While Tovalim is where the largest concentration of the human population live, there are two other large cities.
King:
The king has two primary responsibilities, maintain civil and military control. Keeping civil control includes the collection of taxes for the running of government. The military aspect involves dealing with any external invasions or internal rebellions to maintain control over the kingdom. It sometimes also involve venturing outside the kingdom to either conquer new territories or to raid them for loot. They have other duties as well, such as keeping the peace and developing the society.
Queen:
The queen is responsible for many things around the kingdom.She sets up meetings with other royal officials and attends them on behalf of her kingdom, reads and signs everyday reports from government officials, and travels the country visiting the citizens. The duties of the queen seem never ending but many look up to her as their kingdom's representative.
Prince/Princess:
The duties of the child born to the king and queen are to grow up learning how to rule as the next in line for succession. Once they are old enough to take on other duties, they are to follow the queen to important meetings and parties. There they must hold conversations with other nobles or royalty. The heir(s) are also trained in combat and military strategies as teens, sometimes they are given high military positions if they've proven themselves.

Advisers:
The adviser keeps the king up to date on important political situations in the and out of the kingdom. They also offer counsel on the king's decisions and whether those choices are good or bad.

Teyrns:
The Teyrns commanded the kingdom's army in the King's abscence.

Knights/Guards:
Knights/Guards enforce the laws of the land. They are also responsible for patrolling designated areas, answering calls for help, and arresting individuals suspected of committing crimes.

Citizens:
Nobles and Peasants alike are all considered citizens under the king's protection. All citizens are expected to pay taxes and enlist in the military in times of war.

City Elves:
City elves are the descendants of the original elves taken as slaves by the humans. They have adopted many of the human customs but they still managed to keep a few of their traditions. While they are no longer called slaves, they are still kept as servants by many houses and are treated poorly.
