Their castle residing at the very top of their lands highest mountain, the Draconians are currently having an internal power struggle. Many Folds grew doubtful of the rulers strength to lead them when he agreed to sign a treaty with the humans over 60 years ago. Since then, tensions grew high as each Weyr sought to claim the throne and reclaim glory for their race by ransacking the Human Kingdom.

Draconian Colors:
The Pure Blood Class:

These Draconians live in the Capital of the Kingdom, Vynrezi, and are the major Folds that are part of the upper society. They refer to themselves as Chist'ma Kro'na, The Pure Bloods. Most of the Chist'ma Kro'na aren't associated with any specific elements and very intelligent, so intelligent that that are able to speak in the Common Tongue of the humans.

- Bronze: This Blood Class is not associated with any fixed element; it is a higher class of Draconian. It can learn to breathe all elements. They have the ability to speak human tongues as well as their New Tongue. These Draconians are gifted with magic spells and incantations. They are often depicted as alchemists. They are known for their wisdom like the Gold and Silver Class.

- Gold: Gold dragons are the knights of the Draconian world. They are of the higher class: honorable and brave. They can breathe any element and are skilled magicians. They have the ability to shapeshift beyond their two forms. Gold dragons have the gift of prophecy. They are often sought out for their wisdom and guidance. Gold Draconians are more passive compared to the other Classes and are the wisest of them all.

- Silver: These Draconians can breathe any element and are very reclusive. Their original powers belonging to this Class's Ancient Dragon was able to travel through space and time. It also had the ability to warp the fabric of reality to its will. Now the Silver Class are able to shift the air around them to disguise themselves and teleport short distances. They are lovers of knowledge.

The Common Blood Class:

Majority of the Folds of this Class live in areas away from Vynrezi. Their Ancients were the weaker of the Ancient Dragons and could only control one element. Each color class lives in environments that feel the most comfortable to them and hardly ever leave their territories unless they are going out to battle.

- Black: This class is associated with evil or darkness. They're malevolent and vicious. They will not hesitate to kill their own kind for their own selfish purposes. With their fury, they are able to create storms. Black dragons have the ability to breathe a green fire and can learn how to turn invisible. They're mainly depicted with warlords and warlocks. They prefer to live in dank dark places, so they live beneath the Vynrezi and are the dungeon masters. They are currently scheming in the shadows of the dethroning of their Ruler, wanting a Black Class to sit on the throne instead.

- White: This class is associated with ice and snow. It has the ability to breathe snow and cause avalanches. It can also spit razor sharp shards of ice. White Draconians are neutral and pretty self centered. They will only do something if there's something in it for them. They prize shiny objects, like metal, coins, glass, etc. White Draconians are often found in ice caves or tunnels deep beneath the snow. They don't have much contact other Draconians because of their living environment, preferring to live in cold places. They live not too far away from Vynrezi since it is located high in the cold mountains.

- Red: This is the most common class. It is associated with fire. It can breathe incredible temperatures of fire. They can also control fire, having the ability to shape the fire they emit. Red classes are ferocious and unapproachable because of their fiery temper. They are easily angered and easily provoked. They're unpredictable and prefer to live in hot climates like volcanoes. They do not desire the throne but they feel that the current ruler is too weak and needs to be replaced by a stronger Fold.

- Blue: This class is associated with water. It has the ability to emit high pressured water from its mouth, as well as boiling hot steam, rather than fire. They are very curious by nature and this can get them into a lot of bad situations. They like shiny objects and are collectors. Naturally, they are expert swimmers as they live in water. They prefer to live in underwater caves. The Blue Class are more strict about keeping to their own class.

- Green: This class is associated with the earth. The Green Class has the ability to breathe low temperatures of fire, using it not as a weapon but as a tool. They have short wings because they prefer to live in forests and wooded areas. They are skilled climbers and burrowers. They also have excellent night vision. They are peaceful and they are very affectionate. In other words, they're big scaly teddy bears. However if threatened, they will defend themselves. They live in small natural caves or in large trees. They're the smallest of the Classes.

- Yellow: This class is associate with air and/or wind. Yellow Class are able to create tornadoes and emit high pitched screeches. They are very boastful, egotistical, and have a tendency to be air headed. The class are the least intelligent of the Classes. Preferring to live in flatland like deserts, they can be spotted high among the clouds.

Draconian Culture:

The Old Language of the Ancient Dragons became lost in history, so now all Draconians speak in the New Tongue. During the Time of Creation, the Ancient Dragons had only supplied the elves with their blood but were otherwise nowhere near the New Bloods to communicate with them so they had to create their own language in which to talk with one another. The Elven language was impossible to for them to speak with the way the transformations effected their throats.

Each clan or family of Dragon-Bloods are called Folds. Most Folds of similar colors stick together in designated areas of Quzor Artryv. Preferring to keep their bloodlines pure. There are those that belong to different colors that mate and produce offspring together, but its not common. Those hatchlings tend to take after only one parent and their powers. Only the strongest of bloodlines can possibly have one hatchling that develops the powers and traits of both parents instead of just one, even then this is still a very rare occurrence. Draconian families are patriarchal: consisting of a father, mother, and any of their offspring.

Draconians kept their true names a guarded secret. Their names are given to them at birth but as they grow older and achieve higher levels of wisdom and skill and of course age rank, additions are added on to their given names. To learn a Draconian's name was to learn everything about them: their abilities, rank, fold, etc. It wasn't uncommon for Draconians to use alternate names when interacting with each other or with other races.

When a pair have decided to mate with each other they go to the sacred mating grounds and have a mock battle. A huge party is hosted by the fold of the dominant partner during the "fight". Any draconians in the area are welcomed to join in the celebration. After the battle is over, the pair can choose to join the festivities or head to secluded area to couple.

Aging:
Draconians go through different stages of their life. The Ancient Dragons were known to live over 3000 human years; but with their extinction and having so little of their blood, Draconians only live to about 800 years of age.
- Wyrmling: This is a baby. Baby draconians are innocent, and cannot fight or protect themselves. They cannot breathe elements or fly. Their talons are too soft to be used as weapons and their scale are not fully developed yet; the texture is much like that of snakeskin. They are considered a wyrmling from the time of hatching till the Draconic age of fifteen.

- Dragonette: This is a child. Dragonette's still can't breathe elements. However it's claws are now partially hardened which enables it to rip flesh. Dragonette's still cannot fly. Its scales have now hardened giving it more defense. The dragonette's spikes down its back and horns on its head are now beginning to grow. The draconian is considered a dragonette from the draconic age of 15 to 39 years.

- Juvenile: This is what we can consider a teenage draconian. Juveniles are able to glide with the help of their mother but not achieve extreme heights. The glands that give them the ability to breathe certain elements are now forming. So for example, a Red Class Draconian can now breathe sparks. The talons have hardened completely and the scales are now fully developed. However their horns and spines are still developing. The draconian is considered a juvenile from the draconic age of 40 to 59.

- Young Adult: This is exactly what it says; a young adult. Draconians at this stage can breathe small streams of elements. They are able to fly without assistance but still cannot achieve extreme heights. The dragon's horns and spines are now fully developed in this stage. The draconian is considered a young adult from the draconic age of 60 to 99.

- Adult: This is an adult. An adult can reach extreme heights when flying and breathe full streams of the element specific to its breed. It can now survive on its own without the help of its mother. The draconian is considered an adult from the draconic age of 100 to 349.

- Wrym: This is a senior of a draconian. It's muscle strength is heightened above limits. It can travel at extreme speeds and heights. It can control the streams of elements it breathes, including being able to shape them. At this stage some draconians learn to breathe elements other than the one specific to its breed. The draconian is considered a wyrm from the draconic age of 350 plus years.

- Great Wyrm/Elder: This is an ancestor of draconians. The draconian is considered an elder or great wyrm if it has lived passed 550 draconic years, which is extremely rare. At this stage elders have mastered the ability to breathe all elements, but has lost its wings. However it is still able to fly using magical rather than physical means. Their Pure Form changes to serpent-like, but still has four feet. Also at this stage the great wyrm or elder draconian has formed a beard-like crest under its chin and something like a mustache.
