It has been quite a while since Hiro and Hirosha set their paths on the routes of Johto, in fact the league had changed greatly since then. Hirosha, who used to be just a rising star, has claimed right to the League Champion title now in Johto's Sakura League. Having learned quite a lot in such a short amount of time, she spends a lot of her time reading and enjoying the company of elite four members Will, Heliana, Takeshi and Karen as they wait for the next challenger to arrive at the Cherry Blossom Castle, the new league building situated in the mountains to the northwest of routes 38 and 39.
Just before Hiroshima's return to Johto, Mount Mortar mysteriously collapsed one day, trapping trainers and the Dojo King inside. Nothing is left, and pathways have been constructed with memorials now along them. At the time, Morty's daughter Ariana was just beginning her new job as the Ecruteak Gym Leader, since his duty was long over with and the people of Ecruteak needed him for burial rights. Soon after, to the west of the Ecruteak Gatehouse, an eerie path to his new Ghost Dojo appeared. In the time that the Sakura League was being situated, Pryce had started his contest to replace him, a good ice trainer named Lucien pulling the weight he wanted to see. Chuck's best pupil, Kyber, took his place as the Cianwood Gym Leader during this time as well. Hirosha asked that Clair stay, along with the others in the original league.
Recently, there have been a few shady characters skirting about all of the gyms, Pokemon centers, and town halls of all of the cities in Johto. Hirosha, trying not to cause a panic, alerted the police forces to step up a bit, and then asked Elm to put forth his favorite lab assistant, Kitsora, to investigate the matter. She humbly agreed, in light of the leak that Team Rocket's Project Nova was behind this, and since the massacre of pokemon and their trainers some years prior, she always made it her duty to keep justice in Johto when she is called. They sent her to Ecruteak, the city that reported the most activity seen in the past week...";

Walking out of the Pokemon Center of Ecruteak, she sighed softly. Yet another person; no one that looked outwardly suspicious; that was loitering around the building here. That made two she noted. However another note was that it was never more than an hour; it was odd to her that these people would wait outside of the building for the time, never walk in, and then leave only to be replaced by someone else that looked just as normal.
"So, Firestar... what do you suppose they're standing out here for?" She looked up, the volcanic rat staring down at her without so much as a huff. She just giggled at him. "I didn't think you had an idea."
She spotted a place she could sit at the treeline, and before she knew it Lotus and Lavender had started a race to the spot; Lavender having a head start from her psychic powers. Kit raced to them, Firestar behind her lumbering and taking his time.
"Let's have some food then guys, shall we?" She pulled her pack off and began to set up a small picnic by the southern treeline of the quaint town.

He was walking around the woods waiting for any orders to be sent to him. He was checking over his pokemon and feeding them he even took time to groom them. He then stared up at the sky wondering what was going to happen.
At that moment, Carlos receives a call. The voice on the other side was a deep, smooth female.
"This is the Queen of Hearts. Have you made it to Ecruteak yet?"
On her end, she tapped deep red nails on her desk, waiting for his reply.

Koro sat under a tree, leaning on his backpack. Teela rested in the tree above him, with Vulkan sitting on the ground next to him all grown up as a Typhlosion, Henry was off to the other side looking at everything with that crooked frown of his. "Whatcha think guys?"He said staring at the clouds. "Ecruteak next?"
Vulkan huffed and scratched the side of his head.
"Is that a yes?" Koro asked.
To that Vulkan just shrugged.
"You are no help..."

Lynn Left her house in Olivine City, her backpack was full of various supplies she might need while she traveled around for a month or two. With her pokemon stored safely in their pokeball's around her waist, she looked back to the house.
"Well, you've kept me safe and warm for all my life, so I promise to return as soon as I can." She trailed off as all the memories she had from this place came flooding back to her. Lady came up behind her and put a hand on her shoulder, bringing her back to the present.
"Thank you..."
Lady nodded in response and gave her trainer a quick hug, wiping away a tear that had formed on her trainers face.
"Alright, off to Violet City!" Lynn shouted enthusiastically while pointing in the general direction of the town. Lady was behind her showing the same enthusiasm and mimicking her trainer.
After being around pokemon for so long, Lynn had finally decided to try and obtain all the badges, and maybe one day, take on the Elite Four.
