The city proper of Nauticus is a place of teeming life and prosperity.
It is a hub of sorcery, science, and technology, an advanced and sophisticated place,
where the lower and upper classes exist in harmony.
The buildings are a fantastical blend of natural sea decor and innovative magical science. Energy creating and sustaining, the city is brightly lit and appealing to the eye. Having unique structures that mimic sea life, they are built to coincide and nestle within the rock walls and coral that are throughout the city. The center of the city houses a large palace where their nobles and royalty meet for various political reasons. Threads of glowing lines connect throughout the main thoroughfares, coming from the central hub of the city, flowing magic and power to every home within it. No one goes without. The "roads" are filled with various sea-beasts tamed and used for transportation.
Among the outskirts to the southern part of the city are the ruins of Nauticus, these mimicking more Grecian architecture. The broken pillars and stone walls are remnants of the past that many still forage through for old magic scrolls and ancient artifacts of those before them. However, many whisperers and venerable have taken refuge among the ruins, their maddening thoughts ostracizing them from the rest of society, leaving them here. It is a place to be tread lightly.
