Ava noticed letters on the side of his helmet, enlightened by the fire's warm light. "Rahzen..." She read. "Your helment says Rahzen. Therefore, we will call you Rahzen." She smiled and took a bite of her food.
The man sits down after placing more pieces of wood on the fire "That is a very strong name you got there." A smile and nod is offered to Rhazien. He makes two phases of food and hands one to Rhazien. He offered them both a bottle of fresh water before he started eating. He kept his eyes wandering around the area just to make sure all was good still.
The beast if a man seemingly in both total shock and awe of what they both said to him. Actual tears of joy would be seen trailing down his face from behind the mask "I am called Rhazien? I actually have a name? " Never had he felt normal as much as he did at this monent. The plate of food and water were received with a wide smile. Both were gone in about s minute though. Those nasty little things that kept him locked up barely fed him scraps.
Ava smiled, not knowing weather to cry or stay strong because of the emotions she sees on the face of Rhazien. Never has she seen such a beast of a man shown this much emotion. She drank water so she wouldn't get overly emotional over him. "You're our friend now. We'll take care of you." She smiled and ate her food. He was such a tough creature, in her mind it didn't make sense, but she was happy that he was good, and that they had the chance to meet him.
He leans over to poke Ava lightly in the side the nods to her letting her know he felt the same way. No he did not read minds but he was always able to read people's movements. He offered Rhazien a smile "Yes you are a friend. Hell might as well be family these days."
The beastly man was overcome with emotions again. Never did he ever feel wanted, accepted even. Now these two strangers who have not known him for more days now they are family. There was just no words for what he was feeling at this moment.
A low growling sound escaped his lips. There were unseen numbers of the dead hiding in the shadows across the clearing. The eyes of the beastly man narrowed seeing the number of enemies about to attack. Without any warning, Rhazien stood grasping Casvidan's great axe easily in one hand. Seconds later this axe is sent hurdling through the air. This axe finds its mark within the chest of a large dead creature whose sheer size rivaled that if Rhazien himself.
Rhazien slammed his fists together pumping himself up "Noone hurts my family!!!" And with this the man rushed forward into the mass of emerging dead.

Ava jumped as Rhazien lunged the axe through the monster's chest and yelled. She sat there for a moment and watched, wondering if she should help with the undead creatures or not since he was so large and clearly dangerous. As she watched him tear them limb from limb, it looked like he had it under control. It scared her watching such a large creature killing things, but yet protected. It made her uneasy because she knew that something be or someone tortured could turn at any moment. Unless, of course, the creature is shown love at first. But a beast that size, none of them would stand a chance.
He stood placing himself between Ava and those Rhazien was attacking. He smirked watching the beast of a man handle them like it was nothing "Good this he is on our side huh." He says this to Ava before a unusual arrow tears through his left bicep. He took hold of the arrow.. that was made of bone? And snapped it off so he could still use his arm and not bleed out to quickly "Ava take cover they have archers in the trees."
He unsheathed his twin hand axes and starts hacking away at the dead who had actually snuck up behind them. Were they getting smarter now? That was a horrid thought.

Rhazien tore through the remaining dead things with little trouble. The axe that was still in the large creatures chest would be pulled free before he turned looking to what was happening behind him. There were more and more of those things coming out of the woods around them. The beastly man had little time to think so he went with his gut. Again he rushed to the side of his family and did his best to try to protect them.
The caravan which consisted of both drow and drider alike continued on their trek towards the last spot welcoming of their races. If this place was still standing... they did not know and yet they had no other place to go. There were those bloody poor excuses for undead all around the land of Shadowmore. Seemingly these hordes were mindless and yet they were controlled just enough to guide them to wherever the living were hiding. Queen Lyacollee deciding to try to make allies with whomever crossed her path. These days all living races needed to put their petty differences aside in order to retake the lands. She eventually is thrown from her carriage by a volley of arrows. Those drow and drider warriors around her viciously attacked anything that moved their way. They were able to dwindle the dead numbers before the last of the dozen warriors fell. Lyacollee stood her ground with her staff in her right hand and a spell summoning in her left. Loud crackles of electricity followed by a thunderous sound filled the night air around her. The spell would be cast successfully and RIP through the remaining dead like a hit knife through butter. Another darker spell is conjured up and soon several of her fallen warriors would again rise to stand at her side and command. Now to hunt these things and the unholy creator as well. The unfamiliar rocky terrain around the vase if what was a mountain was misleading her yet she followed the staggering tracks of what was to be a large dead army.
After Casvidan pushed her aside, she conjured up a spell to freeze and shatter the unholy creatures but before she could, they were all dead. Everyone killed them before she had a chance. She felt good about not having to kill, but feeling bad for not contributing.
A couple dead fell to his axes before most of them froze up then shattered. He smirks lightly while placing the hand axes away. He knew Rhazien could handle the few that were left so he went about looking over the arrow in his arm. He sat upon the ground still examining the wound and arrow that was still in it "Now they name and shoot arrows damn."
The beast of a man did not even blink at the sight of exploding undead made of ice. The man thing soon made short work if the renaming half dozen soldiers who now tried to run away. After these were dispatched, Rhazien slumped back against a tree truly exhausted now. It was indeed worth it to keep them safe. There would be almost nothing he would do in order to keep the pair alive and safe.
The undead tracks seemingly held no real purpose other then to keep moving in one direction. There were just too many sets of tracks to truly determine how many were there but in any case the drow knew better then to let her guard down again. It took her and the small band of mindless followers a good two hours to track the wandering horde. They arrived just in time to watch the three living beings slaughter the undead minions. She and her group kept out if sight not knowing how their arrival would come across to the others. She was a drow travelling with several mindless minions under her control... they might not get a warm welcome. She made sure that they stayed out of sight and far enough away so as to not be detected just yet.
Ava kneeled next to Casvidan, seeing the arrow wound. "This is going to hurt." She grasped the arrow tightly and pulled it out. After, she gently put her hand where the wound was and healed it, smiling at him. Ava suddenly sensed the presence of something else in the woods. "Something else is here." She looked out into the woods, using night vision. "I don't think they're foes."
He winced slightly when she pulled the arrow out then calmed. "Yes I know they have been watching for awhile now. I do not think they trust others as easily as we did eachother." He motions for Rhazien to settle down by the still lit fire knowing he would be seen as a threat just for being what he was. He smirks seeing the wound was healed yet left a nifty scar "Another scar to romance the ladies with." He chuckled a moment.
Rhazien glances between them before sitting upon the ground. The man lowers his metal covered head leaning his cheek into his hand. There was actually something bothering him yet he would not talk about anything.
Slowly the minions of the queen would start to turn to ash and fall apart. A sigh escaped her lips as the last one fell apart. The black cloak she wore would be pulled closely around her before she made a spot clear in some bushes. She made it look like she was just a pile a debris and would go unnoticed. She would take the night to rest and gather her thoughts before deciding on what to do next.
Ava smiled and rolled her eyes at Casvidan's words. After, she went back to her normal vision then sat back down by the fire. She sensed something was wrong with Rhaizen. She frowned. "What's wrong, Rhaizen?"
