With countries taking sides and forming alliances, the EU is ahead in erasing borders. The overall foundation of the EU is rewritten to appeal to the group as a whole, trying to form a sense of loyalty and cooperation between the countries. As a show of progressive effort, the EUR also invites Great Britain to return, under the new banner of the Rewritten European Union Agreements. Standing under the status of a revision, the organization has taken its name affectionately, accepting themselves as the improved take on the EU, hoping to be more successful than the already stable union it had been before the rewrite. Initially working to maintain peace in at least some part of the world, the EUR did fall behind the race in genetics and neurotechnology. They decided to catch up.
