Incognito
- Incognito is a module which deactivates any signal output, except for a low-frequency scramble which will imitate the basic output equivalent to a cellphone, or numb detection devices altogether. This can hide a person from all electronic forms of detection.

NEIT
Weaponry
'Shrike'(сорокопут) rounds
- Shrike rounds were adapted originally by OTA to combat armoured NEIT synthetic units. However, the introduction of MAAW rifles made these expensive rounds obsolete, and therefore less favorable. NEIT picked them up to arm synthetics themselves, to combat the rise in armour technology that had come from the use of synthetics. Their complex function also ironically makes them a considerable counter to HARDPOINT plating. The shells themselves are a thin, chromed ceramic material, which crack themselves open using a micro-explosive element in the rear of the round, accelerating the hardened alloy spike inside. The ceramic will often fragment around the target. These are optimal in marksman rifles. The two-inch spike housed in magnesium compound and ceramic will often manage to pierce straight through an unarmoured target, and can often disable armoured personnel.
Often, these slug spikes can be fitted instead with disruption equipment, to completely disable cybernetic-heavy hostiles, or synthetics altogether. They will also disrupt targetting equipment on more heavily armoured but automated equipment.
Utility
Synthetics
- The NEIT relies heavily on synthetics. Law enforcement, dangerous jobs like mining, service roles... Synthetics are the rising supports of NEIT society. Often, consumer models will be made very simplistic, but their AI will involve more complex social algorithms. In the case of military or law enforcement, synthetics will often be built armoured, designed to take extreme abuse or to simply be an expendable unit that would be preferable to lose over a human. They hold no value over the individual synthetic. Per job, a network AI controls the bodies under it. A single mind controls thousands of bodies, rather than each one having a value in itself.
Ulitka(Snail)
- As NEIT specializes is synthetics, NEIT is a powerhouse of not only synthetic foot soldiers but robotics as a whole. And, a primary tool on long tours are the Ulitka war machines. These massive electronic units use a set of four or often up to six sturdy mechanical legs, focused on horizontal orientations. These machines are low-down, slow-moving, heavily armoured, heavily armed units which accompany ground units, carrying their cargo, providing cover, and offering the ability to cut down opp-for, with a variety of weapon configurations.
The decision to use robotics as an enhancement over the use of traditional track-based ground vehicles, comes from the ability to traverse snow and survive abusive terrain. Of course they are autonomous, and electric, allowing for plenty of internal space for cargo and ammunition. Their primary use and advantage comes from their ability to lower their main body, anchoring into the ground, and use its legs to stabilize itself, while pulling them, and their massive armour plates in to protect anything sensitive. Wear tracks will be broken and need repairs from a single shot, or explosives, the Ulitka will hide all of its sensitive joints, servos, and pneumatics in a shell of steel formed by the retracting legs' plates.
This configuration allows the Ulitka to become a stationary gun emplacement which will use sensors, cameras, and FOF (Friend-Or-Foe) systems to defend select locations, or create instant-setup camps, complete with rations, tents, and other camping gear stored away in the spacious cargo interior.
Optic Camoflauge
- NEIT camouflage is what inspired the OTA to create their own optic camouflage method. The technology was abandoned, but as far as it got, is still considered to be a simple mechanism to NEIT spec-ops. Special optic fibres can be used to create simple articles of equipment such as a cowl or blanket. Often used to hide a sniper in urban warfare, or for reconnaissance, Optic Camouflage cowls give smaller-framed soldiers a purpose on the battlefield.
Armour
Enforcer(инфорсер) Armour
- Enforcers are standardly equipped with face-concealing equipment. The suits themselves fit the category of exo-skeletons, as they are full plating, which can be classed as 'armoured' rather than simply 'personnel'. To hold this weight, they're built with servos, pneumatics, and 'artifical muscle' technologies stolen from OTA research. A single enforcer can easily shrug off a round of shot from a close-range combat shotgun with its armour. That being said, specialized rounds will easily pierce the thin layer of alloy plating, and seeing as they have no built-in concussion prevention, explosives will often incapacitate a user. They are compact and often don't restrict movement, but these suits are very expensive, and most see them to not be worth having, given efforts from a certainNovikovto make it known that piercing rounds and explosives are well in the supply of the resistance.
OTA
Weaponry
MAAW - Magnetically Assisted Assault Weapons
- While the rest of the world has trapped themselves behind gunpowder weaponry, the OTA has replicated their orbital weaponry technology, miniaturizing it into their assault weaponry. Spec ops are trained to use harder hitting, higher velocity weapons using the traditional gunpowder concepts, assisted with coil technology to accelerate the ferrous ammunition. A transition only OTA has made, while the rest of the world continues to use soft copper casings.
Armour
Optic Camoflauge
- Optical Camouflage has been a crude but well-established technology in NEIT. After having seized NEIT tech, OTA scientists have developed ways to integrate it into existing HARDPOINT panels to better equip on soldiers than the existing methods. However, kinetic impacts, due to the dispersion of the force will disrupt the camouflage, and reduces the amount of energy drawn. Some operators will choose to use camoflauge-dedicated panels, rather than deal with the dual-usage panels, or simply go full HARDPOINT.
HARDPOINT
- Discovered accidentally through efforts of medical research, HARDPOINT technology allows for lighter weight, more mobile defensive equipment. HARDPOINT, at the cost of surprisingly little electricity consumption, converts impact kinetic energy, into intense vibrations moving outward, away from the wearer or user. Thus, OTA operators are able to wear less restrictive armour, that's much more effective than KEVLAR. Rather than reduce the chance of lethal hits, HARDPOINTS will completely negate a bullet's impact. It also compliments MAAW technology, as spare kinetic energy is converted for electrical use. It will replenish weapon batteries. However, the technology will fail, or backfire if a shot is taken with no reservoir to dispose of the spare kinetic energy into. A "shot on full" will often result in breaking the plate completely, rendering it as durable as cardboard, or worst case, detonating from the kinetic burst, as well as burning out the batteries in weapons. A half-full battery is optimal for field agents.
Cybernetics
Snap Points
- Snap points are very simple implants used to quickly equip and swap HARDPOINT panels. Rather than create full suits and equipment troublesome to remove, Snap Points allow operators to simply attach HARDPOINT panels directly to their bodies. Often, operators wear thin, skin-tight suits, to not interfere with the ability for HARDPOINTs to attach to their bodies. These points magnetically connect, and act as a passage through the body to interface with all equipment, including their own cybernetic systems.
VR Adapters
- Originally designed as a new consumer product, VR had been perfected through cybernetics. One could put their body to sleep, and completely delve into fantastical worlds. It's been adapted for military use to help train troops without tiring out their bodies. -

Telepathy drone (EUR, OTA)
- Unique to the EUR and OTA, Telepethic drones play an important part in urban warfare. Using Telepathy cybernetics, operators can use drones as a sixth sense, or a second limb. They can be equipped with a variety of equipment, such as surveillance equipment, small arms, disruption equipment, etcetera. They can be worn on a magnetic back mount, and release themselves into flight on command. Some unique developers around the globe have created special equipment for these drones that give them a significant edge.

Telepathy (EUR,OTA)
- Telepathy is the nickname given to the implant which allows people to use remote devices or even connect to others in a unique way. Connected users' vision, becomes similar to one's peripheral vision. Pain or exhaustion that they feel, becomes a new sense. The ability to give them information is as natural as a thought. This can also be interfaced into drones to control them with simple thoughts, and receive imagery or data as an extra sense.
