So far, Anzu had been introduced to two people. 'The girl in the box' as the facility workers called Min-Seo, and Harada Mei, a particularly enthusiastic jogger. Harada had helped her go through her paperwork, getting her sorted and toured briefly through the facility. But, it had finally come to an end, and she had to report to the commander. A firm knock had been made on the commander's door, before it was opened. "Commander Kanoya?" Harada called into the room as she pushed the door open for the new recruit.
While Anzu had been guided by an actually calm, collected individual, clearly experienced and trained by the military, it seemed their commander was more on the side of Min-Seo. Not at all, official. "The door said to not disturb!" The commander shouted. A woman with a messy bob-cut, dressed in a baggy dark grey shirt. Some print over the chest for an obscure side game she liked, or something.
"Commander, it always says 'do not disturb'." Harada retorted, before just giving a defeated sigh. "Good luck, Nakamura." Harada told the recruit, before slowly pulling back to make her way off to her other duties.
The commander after Harada had left, returned to simply pay attention to her computer, her keyboard clicking from keystrokes, with the occasional click. Didn't even address the recruit. Just kept her sloppily-dressed self leaned forward, face by the screen while her dead-fish eyes scanned the monitor. And such pale skin? For military, it looked like she rarely ever got sunlight. Not like Harada with her subtle tanned features from her daily jogs.
