Regarding Character Creation
All first-party Paizo content is permited, though I ask that you bring up things with me first just to confirm stuff if you're uncertain.
No third-party content will be allowed, nor will monsters as races be allowed--basically really high RP races. If there's a race you'd like to play, you can come to me and talk about it.
For my games, we will be using the 25 point buy system. You can find instructions for that here. Rolling will not be an option. There's a handy calculator here for you to use!
The calculation and tracking of carry weight will be monitored--otherwise vital magic items such as bags of holding and haversacks would become somewhat useless. The same extends to the ammunition of arrows and bolts, though you won't have to mention buying more if you're in a town, just deduct the gold needed to purchase the amount you want. Food and water will not be tracked unless told otherwise for a campaign.
I like to employ the Elephant in the Room feat tax for pathfinder, and thus my games will be using them.
When you create your character, please choose 2 traits. If you want a third trait, you may purchase one by taking a drawback, as per Anne's house rules. You will also be given an extra trait from a select list during the start of the campaign (campaign-specific traits).
You may not purchase extra feats through the use of the flaw system. You only gain feats as per the standard rules as written.
When levelling up, the player and DM will both roll for hit points and use the greater of the two options.
Regarding Gameplay
Critical rolls will need to be confirmed as per the rules as written.
Identifying magic, auras etc. will need to be cast as per the rules as written by Paizo.
When resting, the player will roll a number of hit dice equal to the character's level for hit point recovery.
When using the spell bane/bless, the bonus or penalty will be a d4 rather than the standard +1/-1 in the rules as written.
This is less a rule and more a notification, as this has been something I've been doing for a while now: All the Adventure Paths I've done and plan to do in Golarion, are made canon once they're finished. So if you partake in one campaign, finish it and go on to a new one, then the results of that campaign will be set in stone. After all, isn't it fun to be able to hear about the fruits of labors that took a few years to finish?
