3rd party material is allowed and must be linked or presented to the DM for approval. Mostly because I am always interested in what others find. Sub-systems like Path of War, Spheres of Power/Might, Word casting and others are acceptable. First Party material is acceptable as well. Archetypes are acceptable!
We do not require you to "confirm" a critical success. If your character rolled a critical success the first time, then a second roll to "check" is not required. Same goes for NPCs and enemies. Good luck should be celebrated! If there is an ability on a weapon or otherwise that adds to confirm rolls, it is instead added to the damage of the attack. This extra damage is not multiplied with the crit.
We will not track encumbrance, but food will be tracked, water will not. Ammo will be tracked, both mundane and otherwise. Spent ammo can be collected at ½ the number spent, after combat.
For casting classes, we do not require you to cast detect magic in order to know that an item is magical in nature when held in the hand. If a caster picks up an item that is magical in nature we will all accept the assumption that the caster knows that it has magical properties of some kind. It is up to GM discretion to ask for a knowledge or spellcraft check in order for the character to determine the nature of the magical properties. This is done to prevent what we see as redundancy in the rules and to streamline the playing process, preventing unnecessary/extra rolling. Difficulty for these checks will be up to GM discretion and depend on the character and item involved.
If your character has taken the toughness feat, they will gain +3 hit points when the feat is taken and then +1 hit point every level thereafter.
Treasure and coinage is to be divided between party members as it is picked up! The transient nature of online roleplaying means that players and characters are free to come and go as they please. We ask that parties NOT designate a "treasurer" and instead split any findings or earnings at time of receipt so that all characters are free to use as they see fit.
During combat portions we ask that everyone try to maintain a rate of at least one post every two days (time of day is unimportant) in order to maintain the forward motion of time. If it's been more than twenty four hours, the GM may decide to move things along skipping over the absentee player. Absentee characters will be pulled along by the party (without any assumed actions and forfeiting their share of xp and/or loot). If a character has been absent from activity for an extended period, the party may choose to leave that character behind at a safe spot in order to open up their place for a more active player. Adding/dropping characters from active parties will be considered on a case-by-case basis and characters may join, leave or rejoin parties (within reason) at GM discretion. Outside of combat (during social RP etc.) posting order and timelines are not observed.
Character Creation:
Characters will begin their career at level 2! Characters may pick 3 traits from any source material. Characters will start with level 2 starting gold.
Standard, Advanced, and Unknown Point races are all acceptable. Other races can be shown to the DM for approval. Awakened animals are also acceptable.
When calculating health gained at each level, you may roll, or take 2/3 (round down), whichever is higher.
Attributes will be rolled for, and do not need to be approved. Stats will be rolled as 4d6, drop the lowest. I will allow up to 3 rerolls, but you must accept the third set if you roll it.
We will be using a tax-free feat supplement found here:

We will be using Background Skills found here:

Upon creating a character, players must create 3 npcs that have brief descriptions of what they do. An example npc would be: Grigor, Dwarf Cobbler, age 180. Dislikes rival cobbler, Dundor. Related to his son, Dundor. NPCs should not take more than 2 sentences.Players may create npcs that interact or are related to other Player npcs. NPCs created this way shape the starting settlement! They can be written at the end of the Character Sheet, or in a place where anyone can see them.
There are no restrictions on alignment, but everything has consequences.
Celestial Healing acts as Infernal Healing, except is a good spell.
